Side 3 The homeland of the Republic of Zeon, Side 3 was once known as the Principality of Zeon and the instigator of the One Year War. Since the war’s conclusion, the Principality was replaced by the notably more Federation-friendly Republic of Zeon and its military was reduced to a defense force. Gryps 2 Formerly known as the Side 7 colony, Green Noa 2, Gryps 2 is one of the most advanced military bases in the Earth Sphere and serves as the primary headquarters for the Titans in space. Since the Federation Council increased Titan authority over the regular Federation forces, Gryps 2 has gone under heavy reconstruction but for what purpose remains to be revealed. Garden of Thorns Located within the shoal zone of the ruined Side 5, the Garden of Thorns is an oft forgotten haven for space-faring Zeon Remnants. Constructed using the ruins of a colony and debris from the One Year War, the Garden of Thorns once served as the base of the Delaz Fleet before its departure and destruction in late 0083. In the years since, the Garden has yet again gathered both Remnants and space pirates to its docks and continues to earn its namesake, repelling any half-hearted Federation attempts to weed out insurgents.
