History:
Kristine was born in the bustling city of Castelia. Like many other children, her parents gave her a Pokémon, a Poochyena, as a companion. Through her interactions with her Pokémon and other children, she quickly showed an aptitude for Pokémon training and battling. Kristine also displayed natural business acumen when she worked at a local sweets shop during her last year of high school. After high school, she spent a year undertaking the Pokémon League challenge, though stopped at before the Elite Four, preferring to be called a delinquent instead of Ace Trainer. Afterwards, she spent two years working in a Poke Mart until the emergence of Amalgamos. Unfortunately for many, the merging of worlds was not smooth for everyone. While out travelling with her Pokémon on a Route, a sudden earthquake created a giant fissure in the road, swallowing her and several others.
Instead of dying, however, she found herself utterly confused and disoriented in Freeside, New Vegas. Quickly adapting, and not wanting to end up a slave, she learned how to survive with her Pokémon in the unforgiving wasteland, giving up on finding her way back home after a year. Instead, she landed a job at the Atomic Wrangler, switching between bartender and bouncer as needed, learning about various wasteland chems along the way. After spending four years at the Atomic Wrangler, she heard stories of a strange rift in the Divide. Remembering how she got to the post-apocalyptic Mojave, Kristine geared up and ventured into the Divide. At first, she found only difficult weather and raiders, but another earthquake created another chasm that once again swallowed her. For the second time, she evaded death, finding herself in the City, and the first place that she could find a direction home. However, enamored with this nexus between worlds, she set up shop as a chems dealer in the City to support herself, finding even more freedom and opportunity here than in bustling Castelia City. Because of her experience in the Mojave, her products of choice are chems, though she is always open to expanding her selection, as she did with potions and Joy.
Drive:
"I wanna be...the very best...dealer that ever was...I'm fucking with you. My goals are my business. Long-term? I dunno, man, I don't plan my life past a year. My goal is to get rich. Why? It beats the alternatives."
Whether she's aware of it or not, Kristine's ultimate goal is security, whether she chooses live in the City, the world of Pokémon, or elsewhere. However, she is aware that a secure and stable life is difficult to maintain with her chosen line of work, which she admittedly enjoys.

Poké Balls (Pokémon) - a type of item that is critical to a Trainer's quest, used for catching and storing Pokémon. Both a general term used to describe the various kinds as well as a specific term to refer to the most basic among these variations, Poké Balls are ubiquitous in the modern Pokémon world. Up to six Pokémon can be carried with a Trainer in Poké Balls, while more Poké Balls can be held in the Bag for later use.
C-Gear (Pokémon) - a device from Unova that provides communication functionality. Fennel created the C-Gear in order to collate lots of different reports. Kristine has modified hers to be able to interface with PipBoys and other Fallout technology.
AER9 Laser Pistol (Fallout) - The AER9 features a titanium housed crystal array which proved to withstand long years of exposure to the elements much better than the gold alloy housing of the later models. As a result, the crystal arrays stayed focused within operating parameters, rather than falling completely out of focus like the newer models. Power is drawn from microfusion cells and processed through a wave/particle diverter manufactured by General Atomics International. The AER9 was actually not the top laser rifle in service at the time of the Great War. The model line went up to the state-of-the-art AER12, which saw service in a handful of specialty units. The AER9 is much more commonly found due to being much sturdier and more reliable than the models that followed.
Sawed-Off Shotgun (Fallout) - "This is my "GET THE FUCK OUT MY FACE!" weapon." A break-action, double-barreled 12 gauge shotgun with most of the original barrel and stock removed to make it smaller and more easily concealed at the expense of range. Pulling the trigger fires both barrels at once, unleashing 14 pellets instead of the typical 7. While its damage-per-second is low, it inflicts incredible burst damage at close range. However, its incredible damage is offset by the fact that it has an extremely wide shot spread. In addition, because it fires both barrels at once, it wears out fast, eats up more ammo than other shotguns, and must be reloaded after each shot, leaving the user vulnerable between shootings (even with its fast reload speed). The division of damage between separate projectiles will also decrease its effectiveness against armored targets, as the damage will be reduced per pellet.
Drugs:
Addictol (Fallout) - a powerful anti-addiction drug, Addictol is an effective pre-War medicine that works both physically and psychologically to remove both the symptoms of drug abuse and the craving. However, it does not prevent relapse, especially in cases of long-term drug abuse. It generally takes a few hours to work and has a number of side-effects, including nausea.
Ant Nectar (Fallout) - a naturally occurring substance secreted by giant ants. The nectar raises the consumer's Strength exceptionally, but lowers their Intelligence and Charisma by a considerable amount. "It's also good on toast."
Buffout (Fallout) - a brand of highly advanced steroids that increase strength, reflexes, and endurance. Although highly addictive, it was a popular choice among pre-War athletes.
Day Tripper (Fallout) - a mild pre-War hallucinogenic drug, Day Tripper was favored by Americans looking for a happy escape from reality. The resulting high made users more laid back and relaxed, though the tranquilizing effect made physical tasks more difficult to accomplish. It was an acceptable tradeoff for consumers looking for "happiness in a bottle." Due to the psychoactive effect, it was used to manage symptoms of PTSD.
Fixer (Fallout) - This less recognized product was created by Med-Tek, for temporarily curing addictions. Despite the ability to combat addictions, the attempt to temporarily flush out the effects of addiction causes a side-effect of nausea. It also causes the user to "feel woozy," which produces a visual and auditory effect similar to having been poisoned that lasts for a short period of time. Roughly every 15 to 30 seconds, the user's vision will blur and loud static noises will play, which can be a hindrance in combat if the user is not prepared for it. The sound and visual effects are temporary.
Hydra (Fallout) - appears as a Supa Yum-brand fruit drink soda bottle with three sealed glass vials of liquid taped around its middle, each one with a thin rubber tube feeding its contents up to the mouth of the bottle. Like a doctor's bag, Hydra is used to restore health to crippled limbs. Excessive use causes dilated eyes, an increased heart rate and blood pressure, excessive sweating and other typical symptoms of drug abuse.
Jet (Fallout) - a highly addictive stimulant commonly found throughout the wasteland taken via inhaler, which boosts the user's reaction speed by seemingly slowing down time around them with minimal effect on their own movement. Additionally, it significantly increases jump distance and maximum firing rate for a total of ten seconds.
Jet Fuel (Fallout) - derived from Jet, Jet Fuel is a powerful hallucinogenic chem that stimulates the central nervous system, triggering a rush of energy and strength primarily brought about by endorphins. The initial euphoric rush rarely lasts more than a few minutes, but the altered state of consciousness makes it subjectively longer for any Jet user. Use allows the user more actions in combat.
Joy (We Happy Few) - a hallucinogenic drug which suppresses all unhappy memories and leaves its user in a chemically-induced euphoria, while also brightening how they perceive their environment. However, its many adverse side effects include addiction, short-term memory loss, loss of appetite, nightmarish hallucinations, and being susceptible to manipulation.
Mana Rush (Original) - at first glance, a typical mana potion found in a fantasy world. However, Mana Rush is infused with Jet, giving the caster a literal rush of energy and speed. Repeated use dampens magic power after the effects wear off. If addicted, the magic dampening effect is permanent unless they keep using Mana Rush.
Med-X (Fallout) - the brand name of morphine, a potent opiate analgesic that binds to opioid receptors in the brain and central nervous system, reducing the perception of pain as well as the emotional response to pain. The active ingredient acts as a general anesthetic that dulls pain throughout the body and typically causes listlessness and lethargy. In layman's terms, it's a powerful pain killer delivered via a hypodermic needle.
Mentats (Fallout) - The chalky red tablets manufactured by Med-Tek Laboratories were a popular recreational drug before the Great War, favored by consumers for their effect on creativity. The active ingredient is a powerful nootropic that increases memory-related functions, and speeds other mental processes. The effect of Mentats is temporary, leaving the user tired and sluggish once it wears off. However, excessive consumption could also result in health complications, including recurring migraines from withdrawal and even worsening or developing debilitating neurological disorders. Coupled with a high addiction rate, Mentats were and still are a double-edged sword. Kristine offers all known flavors: Berry, Grape, Orange, as well as special Party Time Mentats which increases Charisma more markedly than the standard version.
Psycho (Fallout) - a military-grade psychosis-inducing amphetamine, Psycho is provided in a unique delivery system that mixes strange chemicals of military origin immediately prior to injection. Psycho's primary effect is an increase in damage resistance and dampening of higher brain functions, intended to create tough shock troops for human-wave assaults. The caveat is that the dampening effect also makes the soldiers hard to control.
Rebound (Fallout) - a metal hip flask filled with liquid, and a pair of glass vials of pre-War drugs taped to the side, which flows up through tubes into the mouth of the flask. A needle on the top administers the drug cocktail, causing a steady rush of energy rather than an instant energy rush. Rebound's effects are similar to Jet Fuel, in that it allows the user more actions in combat.
Steady (Fallout) - a combat drug which provides the user with a steady aim that makes it impossible to miss in sharpshooting, perfect for snipers lining themselves up for the perfect shot. Due to the potency and untested nature of the drug, however, it is also highly addictive.
Turbo (Fallout) - appears as an inhaler of Jet hastily duct-taped to a can of HairStylez brand hairspray. The effect of Turbo is a brief slowdown of the surroundings (time goes at about 35% of its original speed), including everything from enemies' movements, to projectile speeds (the Courier's projectile speed included), and even the duration of the drug itself. However, the player character's own movement speed and fire rate will remain the same
Abilities/Powers
Expert Trainer: Kristine is an expert Pokémon trainer and battler, often keeping up with the Pokémon Pro League and other professional Pokémon organizations in the City. She was talented enough to collect all 8 badges of the Unova region, with only 3 Pokémon. Furthermore, she has trained her Pokémon to be able to perform a taboo in the world of Pokémon: using Pokémon to harm human life.
Amateur Chemist: Life in the wasteland has familiarized Kristine with all the drugs consumed by her former clients at Atomic Wrangler. To keep up with demand and increase supply, she has learned how to mix and concoct these drugs themselves, with some of them able to be made over a simple campfire.
Gunslinger: Kristine has gotten rather good with the quickdraw, and has been improving her aim steadily ever since she first grasped a laser pistol. While nowhere near as dangerous as an actual gunslinger, Kristine has the experience to be at least as dangerous and lethal as her Pokémon.
Business Acumen: Kristine has the skill and abilities to successfully run a business, preferring to own her own than work for someone else. So far, she has managed to avoid the scrutiny of any competitors, selling just enough to still maintain a quiet profile and small presence.
