Diana places a hand on Sun Nao's shoulder. She remembers what it was like to be a kid with so much power, and so little... control. "There are no short cuts, I am afraid... Those who try to sell you them, well..." she starts, something dark flickering behind her eyes. Yes, she remembers all too well... "They are liars," she says, leaving it simply. Diana cannot teach him everything- experience will be the tutor he inevitably has for the hardest lessons. She could tell him a thousand ways how he has to learn, but it won't matter. The folly of youth, thinking there is something so different between an adult and them. It is all the same, Diana thinks. The only difference is the amount of mistakes they have made.
"All actions have consequences... and this one has made so many hurt," Diana says, thinking on Fate. "Some agreed, some didn't, and the burden of it all fell upon a few people that had to decide how it tore friendships apart," she says, voice sad. It was a hard, terrible time. Not her first, and not her last. She did what she could to salvage the most. "But those ripples in the threads of the Fates are not for us on this day," she says, getting a bit brighter.
Diana listens to their orders, nodding, then gets in line for them. Her own order is simply any flavor she has not tried- she is here to live and experience, not repeat the same over and over. As she looks over her shoulder to the two, she grins, eyes full of hope.
The future isn't so dark, she thinks.
