There was a lack of reply when Chase asked for Grimlock to answer. Enough to possibly make Chase wonder if something went wrong.
About thirty minutes later, a response would appear in the form of a message on his status window.
Sorry, unable to talk rn, might be in hot water. All coin functions are human to human, with the exception of exchange, find koiski, looks like box.
The message was short, and text looking rushed at the end. So it seemed as though grimlock was in trouble.... Meaning there were higher ups or someone in charge of this mess.
From where Chase was, he couldn't see what everyone else was doing, however he did notice the number of people gathering around others. It seemed groups were already being made, and soon an announcement could be heard on the speaker for the station.
**"Hello, this is Corporal Henson, of the Canadian National guard. I've taken command of the operations room of this section of the subway."**
Many people began to chatter around the station, as the voice continued, it sounded like a guy, perhaps in his late twenties. **"First, I will update everyone on the situation of the station, then what I know. I only ask that you help and cooperate with one another as well as both military and law enforcement for the time being. Please avoid spreading panic if you can, and remain calm."**
Once the voices started to calm down the announcement would continue. **"As of right now this station is currently running on backup generators. There is enough fuel to last a week in case of rolling black outs, but that is only to keep the lights, auditory, and computer systems running. From what we see on the computers for the trains, it appears as though there is warnings of multiple train failures. This means that the trains and subway system are no longer functional. There may already well be survivors making their way to us or other stations as we speak."**.
A voice rang out, ""WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"
Instantly voices began to echo the same question, and soon enough the station was repeating the same question in different ways.
**"I do not know."**
There was an odd moment of silence. People murmured and whispered, looking around as they attempted to rationalize this. A military person was taking charge and they didn't know what was going on? Was their country's military that disorganized?
**"What I do know is this. Prior to evacuating into the safezone we were given orders to mobilize due to an unknown threat. An hour later, those who had not secured a kill upon the enemy forces were killed instantly. From there, we lost connection with central command. I can only assume that they had failed to meet the requirements of this unknown force. Currently, we are at the whim of this.... System, for lack of better term. What I do know is this. Where the previous two missions had time limits, this one does not. As a result, I shall be asking anyone who is currently enlisted on reserves or wishes to help please approach those in military uniform to be escorted to recruitment or reenlistment. We will make periodic announcements and updates to our actions to aid and assist our citizens. If you have any questions, you are free to submit them in paper form to a member of service. Thank you. Please sit tight, and we will decide what to do next."**.
The people of the station seemed to keep relatively calm for the time being, though groups that had already formed were seemingly sticking together. While it had not been said directly, it was implied. The chain of command had likely been broken. What's more, the fact they were asking for extra members meant that they were low, and that significant numbers had died. Enough for a corporal to take charge as opposed to someone of higher rank.
Chase had seen the military fighting outside, and so too had others. Had enough of them made it underground? Had they stood their ground against monsters that could take down jets, and were the size of cars? There was doubt in the air, but there was also those who were already on the move, following the instructions of military or law enforcement. There was an attempt at order being made, even in all this apocalyptic chaos.

Chase remained quiet and listened closely to the announcement. He stated quiet for a few minutes after to debate what to do. Then, he finally spoke as loud as he could.
"We've become a reality TV show for the enjoyment of gods." He announced, finally standing up. He held Missy close to his chest. Bandit sat up for a moment to see why he was moving, but laid back down when nothing was happening of interest. Max stood tall next to the man on one side and Beauty had come back around to stand on the other. Mama even wrapped around him and lay her head on his shoulder. He pat her head with his free hand and waited for silence before he spoke again.
"One of them tried to make a deal of some kind with me. I declined since I didn't think I knew enough about the games main rules. I still don't think I know enough. But what I do know, is as long as you follow the rules and meet the requirements of the given senerios you live. Don't, and you die. We also have all been given a power of sorts and occasionally are given the option to take power from others if you beat them in a game. We all have data screens about ourselves that we can pull up and view in order to know what our abilities and current deals are. No, I will not pull mine up to demonstate. Figure it out. It works like a VR game controlled by your own thoughts. Like in those Sci-Fi cartoons. I managed to learn all this by asking questions and testing theories. The "host" of the show depends on where you came from. There are different districts or something that have been assigned to different creatures. Mine just so happened to be pretty helpful and willing to answer questions when asked. Don't know why. Don't care why."
He finally shrugged. "We earn something called coin which we use to buy things and exchange with each other. Apparently, there are also some sort of kiosks around somewhere that look like boxes. I'm going to go find one. And no, I have no interest in joining the military. I don't qualify any way, I'm an alter in a two person D.I.D system. And before you question why I would just announce that, I don't care. That's all I know, you all can figure the rest out yourselves or come with me to try and find a box kiosk thing and see what you can get your hands on. That is..." He grinned and hugged Mama's head close to his face. "If you don't mind my friends here."
With that, he turned and began walking the train tracks. He wasn't sure if he was heading in the right direction for Jaxon and Stella since his benevolent host seemed to be in a bit of a bind. All he could do was hope he was. The imp made it sound like there might be some here underground. It would be better to stick here for now than attempt to guess the time limit with the poison outside.

Upon Chase speaking up, several individuals and groups near him began to perk up. At the mention of interactions with other beings, a handful of people piped up. "That's right. I ended up making a deal with one of those guys. They gave me the ability to do this."
Sure enough the man summoned forth a iron wrought lantern, likely from colonial era of north America. It seemed to glow and light the way before the user with intensity. Sure enough, several others began to show things or explain what they could do. It was clear that they were people who had been taken interest of by the gods, though Chase didn't know any god that used a lantern like the one that person had shown. Still, as people began to talk, those who listened to Chase seemed a bit wary of the guy at the mention of his mental illness.
Still, a small group of three individuals seemed to approach him. The first was an older man, probably in his 50s wearing a plaid vest, and sweater with older looking jeans. He wore a golfing cap, but seemed aware enough of himself to not fit the stereotypical old man syndrome.
The second was a younger girl, a teen perhaps. She wore the latest trend, though her hair was long and tied back into a ponytail. She seemed to be wearing a bit of makeup, some of which had visibly melted a bit.
The last was a man around Chase's age. He seemed charismatically good looking, with a smile that could convince anyone he was well mannered. He wore an orange long sleeved t-shirt, and had slicked back blonde hair.
The first to speak was the girl, "You know what's going on? Right? Why are they doing this? What do you mean districts? Are you the reason this shit started?" The girl began to accuse, though the older man piped up. "Miss, I doubt he alone is the cause of our troubles. Perhaps this is simply the fated day of revelations. With that said, do you care if we can ask you a few more things before you go young man?"
The other guy agreed, "Yes, anything we can learn can only help us all as a group to survive. After all, there is safety in numbers, and rushing off could easily get people killed."
The three people seemed to have a set of their peers behind them, all of their eyes on Chase at this moment. They all wanted information, and more than what he had provided. "Excuse me." A woman said from Chase's left side. It was an officer, and one who was seemingly interested, "I overheard what you said. Would you please consider helping the corporal out first? If he hears what you have to say, we can figure out what's going on, and that can help everyone."
Soon it became obvious that Chase had likely drawn TOO much attention in his charity, and that his attempt to act like a human had made a problem for him, that is if he saw it as such.

"Look, I told you everything I know. That's all I can offer. My main source I guess is in a meeting or something so I haven't been able to get anything else. Even if I could get a hold of him, he doesn't always give straight answers."
The alter explained to the young girl and older man as they asked him for more information. "You can ask all you want but I can't garauntee I know the answer. I'm in the same boat as everyone else, I just tried everything I could think of to survive and got what I was able to find because of it."
Then the younger man came up and spoke. He was... really attractive. Were there always people this attractive? He looked like a model. Were... were models this attractive? What even is attractrive? What even were these thoughts? Why did his face suddenly feel hot? What even was all of this that hit out of nowhere? Is this what being your own person is? No... No no... Where's the 'oh shit go back' button? Chase? CHASE COME OUT! COME OUT! COME OUT! PLEASE!!!!
Chase didn't come out. Other was left to figure shit out himself or die trying. So... he cleared his throat and his head away before continuing with a responce.
"I-If you want to tag along with me you can. I don't mind forming a team. In fact, I agree that it's ideal. But the main owner of this body has two people that I've been given good word are alive. I have to find them for him. He'll need them if he's going to learn to survive here once I'm gone." He then thought for a moment, then shook his head. "Or... not... gone... persay... I guess. More like... become part of him?" He contemplated it for a second more. What... was integration really? Guess he'd find out. For now, he shrugged and continued his current explanation. "My first and foremost goal, aside from just surviving, is to find those two... and possibly his cat and dog too if I can. He's... fragile... He needs the things that can keep him calm around. You're welcome to join me, but know that my end goal is to get him to a point he can survive once we've integrated. I... just want him to be safe, okay, and most importantly capable."
Voicing his own wants seemed to be foreign to him. He wasn't used to actually wanting anything. He seemed a bit uncomfortable, but not with the attention. It was more like he was just getting used to being more than just somebody's other; though that might be hard to pick up on for those who didn't know how to read people.
As he turned to walk away a bit more hasty than probably necessary he came face to face with the woman officer who asked him to talk with the corporal. It caught him off guard, but he caught his breath and sighed out his tenseness. Lucky he did because he was pretty sure Missy was about to scratch him silly if he hugged her any tighter. Mamacita also seemed to have wrapped herself around him more defensively. Though... he was pretty sure Beauty was mocking him. She seemed smug. He didn't like it.
"Fine, but I can only tell him what I already said. I'm telling you all I don't know much of anything else."

The three individuals seemed a bit at a lost. The girl seemed a bit freaked out, backing a bit away as she seemed cautious of the guy, as the handsome guy seemed to smile awkwardly. Thr only one who didn't seem to have a negative impression was the old man, who stated simply, "Be as that may, tis a gift from the lord that you have such capabilities in this time of trial and tribulations."
With Chase enforcing that people could follow him, the guy tried to speak up again, to no avail as Chase agreed to go with the police woman. Following her, Chase would see a few things. Firstly, he'd notice the further in he went the more often he saw military and law enforcement uniforms. Eventually, there was a checkpoint and taped off area of sorts, military men with batons and riot shields seemed to stand guard as people were asking constant questions. Most of the military simply told them to wait, or that they didn't know. Most people didn't want to accept it as such.
The police woman spoke with one of the guards, and in a moment they let Chase and her through. Stepping past, an area was set aside for military or injured. Some of them had significant wounds, others were exhausted or seemingly sleeping where they stood or sat. Chase would even see Rupert here, him seemingly busy talking with someone in front of a small line of individuals. Then they reached a door that said employees only, to which Chase was told to wait outside. The station didn't seem too different from when he normally took it when he couldn't use his vehicle. Yet the people around created a surreal image and setting as though they were suddenly at war.
After 5 minutes, Chase was called in. The room was only lit with the green and yellow of a monitor displaying errors and a map of sorts. "Please state your name, occupation, and what you know. Please don't waste my time or speak out of turn."

"My name is..." And then he paused almost immediately. He's accepted that he and Chase are separate for now so... that means he isn't Chase right? He became upset for a moment at the realization that he had gone over twenty years without even having a name, but continued. "I... guess I don't really have one. But this body is own by Chase Walker, an employee at an animal shelter. I switched out with him fully at the end of the first trial though I was present and observing through out basically everything. I managed to learn a lot from... luck of the draw I guess. This is a game set in motion by some sort of dieties. Yes, dieties as in plural. It's like a game show of death that they are watching. The world, from what it sounds like, has been divided into districts of sorts and each location has a different 'host' of the show. Mine happened to be useful and willing to talk a bit, albeit criptically in most cases. I can't say all of them will be, I was just lucky I guess. Gods will occasionally offer deals that can be made with a player resulting in earning things like coin or extra powers. I learned this because one diety offered me such and I declined it, which means deals don't have to be accepted and can be declined without death as the result; though you may piss off a diety in the process and who know what that will do to your chances later on. Everyone seemed to have been granted one or two powers of sorts to start and can sometimes take another person's power by beating them in one of the trials, though not always as some trials will end in death. In fact, I believe most probably will. If you follow the rules of the game and successfully complete the challenges you live, otherwise death is the ultimate result. Coins, when earned, can be used to trade with other players or exchanged at kioskis that look like boxes for useful supplies. To check the status of what your power is or any deals you have you can open a menu in a similar fashion to a VR video game. It's controled by thought. Think of those sci-fi cartoons where people get trapped in a video game world. I will not pull mine up to demonstrate. I refuse to give Chase's... or... I guess my own... personal information out."
With all that said, Mamacita wrapped herself around him a bit tighter, and he held her for comfort. All this 'thinking for himself' and 'seeing himself as separate from Chase' was new and exhausting. All the animals around him could sense that he was tired and seemed to get defensive, wanting to get him somewhere he wasn't surrounded by what looked like possibly harmful humans. He patted Max's head to signal him to calm down. Max seemed to give a low growl of sorts which got the other animals to back down. Seemed Max has become a leader for them, not suprising.
"That's everything I know, sir. I discovered it through trial and error and asking a lot of questions. Its all I can offer to you. Now, I need to get going if I want to accomplish my own goals... but... um..." His face flushed a bit without him realizing. This was... embarassment? Another new emotion he wasn't keen on. "You... have a man named Rupert McLean in your ranks. Tell him I said sorry, and thank you for helping me figure things out. That's all I want in return for the information I gave."

Almost immediately after Chase stated that he had "taken over" the body of himself, the two guards that were stationed beside the door on the inside readied themselves, almost preparing to attack. Chase's animals all bared their fangs, Princess included which made one of the guards obviously direct their attention to the constrictor.
The leader of the group quickly looked up and glared at Chase, a hand on his hip that held a combat knife at the ready, and the other on a trench shovel that Chase had not noticed was placed on the table. Listening as Chase spoke, the one in charge asked, "Are you one of those things and took over a body?". It was a bit of a left field question after Chase finished speaking. Chase's condition was not exactly well known, and even then, it was clear that in a world where monsterous wolves, giant eagles, and floating creatures that could appear and disappear at will, the idea of a body snatcher was now not nearly as far fetched.

Chase wasn't really shocked by the reaction of the guards, though he was a bit shocked by the animal's responce to it. He gave them a suttle signal to settle down as he finished his explanation firts, then gave a sigh and shook his head. "Disassociative Identity Disorder, or DID, is the official term. It used to be called Muliple Personality Disorder so you may be more familiar with that. It's a mental disorder caused when someone experience extreme trauma at a very young age. The undeveloped mind can't handle it and thus splits itself to block the host from fully knowing or having to understand what is happening. Chase had some fucked up shit happening, I appeared as a result to take the shit for him instead. Up until recenetly, I refused to even see myself as anything but a trauma holder. To suvive this, I think I'm going to need to be a bit more than that."
He was uncomfortable, that was obvious. Other Chase didn't know how to hide emotions, only hold them back and try not to feel them at all. Actually having and experiencing them was new and confusing. Sadness. Fear. Self-hatred. Mostly exhaustion. It was all fairly present on the young alter's face as he spoke. "I'm Chase's alter. It's all I ever have been. I'm... trying to be more than that right now for his sake and it's hard and confusing enough. Can we please put the weapons away? I'm too tired for my flight or fight responce to kick in right now. I told you all I know and all I want in return is for that message to reach Mr. McLean. So, I'm gonna go and I'll be out of your hair before you can count to ten."
As he turned, he stopped and looked back for a minute. "Maybe, if you're going to lead these people, you should brush up on mental illness." He noted calmly. "Not being rude or snarky, just genuine advice. A lot of these people are probably experiencing trauma for the first time and some of them are pretty young. And those that aren't first timers probably already have issues like PTSD. Mr. McLean said he knew a little about that one, might be a good place to start. I'm sure I don't need to tell you, since you're experienced, but a good leader should know at least the basic status and needs of anyone under them. Could really help to get to know where everyone is at mentally before letting them onto a battle field."
And with that, he turned to head out and signalled his team of fur and scales to follow.

The leader nodded, a bit wary still as he motioned for the guards to at least lower their weapons. Of course, the animals followed Chase's Command, indicating that even a simple gesture could act as a surrogate for the word. It was at least a possible tool if Chase wanted to keep stealth on the table.
However, when Chase attempted to leave, the two guards stepped in to block the only exit. "I apologize, but we aren't done here. As for the message, I can deliver that. Still, I need to make sure you're not lying. And to be honest.... I'm not so sure how many people with serious mental illnesses or physical defects could have survived this.... Event. You remember the first event's conditions, correct? Believe it or not, I know not everyone could carry such a thing out.... That said... If you are telling the truth, I can only suggest you keep the illness hidden. There are already people who are unstable as it is. If it weren't for our training, I'm certain this place would be in chaos...."
The man let go of his knife, but kept a hand on his shovel. "That said.... I suppose I should check."
Instantly, a window appeared before the guy, his eyes going wide as he touched the panel that floated before him. Smiling, he sighed a hit in relief, before the panel disappeared. "Alright. So I can assume you've got a semblance of an idea and some of what you said could easily be true. That said, you stated a few things that have me curious now. Sit down". The commanding officer stated, not as a request, but an Order. If Chase attempted to refuse, the man would clarify that as of now they were all currently under martial law, and disregarding orders would only mean that they'd need to take Chase as a dissonant individual.
"Now..... First off, I'm going to call you Chase, unless you decide you have a name. Second, I'm going to introduce myself. I am 5th class Private Terrance.". Now that the atmosphere was less of a hostile one, and more civil, Chase would notice the man. He was younger than Chase, probably only just old enough to smoke. Still, he was clean shaven, and tired looking. Blood was visible on his military uniform, some red and dried splatters on it.
Rupert had been a Senor Warrant Officer, and the term Private was usually used in Rupert's stories as a term for the common soldier. Being 5th rank likely meant he was the most qualified to take command. His shovel had blood as well, but a even bloodier rag was near it, bits of flesh on it. A slight dent in the spade's tip indicating that it had trouble piercing whatever Terrance had killed to survive.

The alter was relieved to be off the hook but upset to not be fully able to leave yet. Despite the man being younger than him it was clear that this man was a bit more naive when it came to things like social interaction. He was also clearly antsy. All he wanted was to grab supplies and get moving so he could find Jaxon and Stella. Still, he knew better than to try and disobey and took the seat as told.
"I'll do as you ask, but... I have good word that the two people Chase needs most right now are alive and somewhere in the underground. It's a lot of ground to cover and I don't have any clue where to start looking so... I'd like to keep it as brief as possible."
The man introduced himself, and he nodded. "That's fine for now. I've always just been called 'Other Chase' anyway. I... Being seen as an independant entity is kind of new territory for me. Emotions, social cues, seeing myself as a person instead of just something there to take hits for someone else... It's... foreign. So forgive me if I'm uncomfortable or in a hurry. I just... I want to give this body's owner a chance to be the best he can be. But to do that, he needs to survive first. I'm the survival for his chance to work."
For as menacing and manipulative as Other Chase could be, he was too tired to be fiesty. Without his usual bite, he just sunk down in his chair and pulled up his knees like a child. He felt so... small... despite having finally figured out a better purpose he had no clue how to get there or if he would even be able to get Chase out ever again in this situation. It could end up being almost like he was the host and Chase was the alter. Mama, living up to her nickname, would wrap himself around him while the others took their spots at his sides (or on his head in Bandit's case). As sad as he seemed, it was far more the exhaustion that came through, though perhaps a different kind of exhaustion than what Private Terrance was feeling. This was a deep set exhaustion that had been there for decades and never got resolved, an exhaustion that could have easily lead a weaker person to give up and 'take the easy way out' long ago. This man was being vulrable on purpose to sus out those who would bring harm to the one he protects, and using his spite and love for that person to push him forward. He was no idiot, but he definitely has a long way to go to be a capable HUMAN instead of a capable tool.
Finally, he shook his head a bit in an attempt to clear it and sighed again, still not looking the man in the eye and just looking down and away. "Sorry... it's... nice to meet you Private Terrance. I'll try to answer your questions."

"Thank you.", Terrance stated, before sitting up, exhaling, inhaling, and then looking Chase dead in the eyes. "Considering you've stated that someone else was with you, Rupert, right? He'll likely either report to me, or take over depending on his experience. That said, I understand your want to rush and see whoever it is that you're wanting to see. The problem is what I want to ask you about. How do you plan to do that? My men have reported that some groups have already left ahead of the crowd before us.... But so have my scouting parties. None had returned. At least, not until my last group. I told them to be very aware of anything strange and report back. Radio barely works as it is, and even then it's difficult to get any signal. The last report I was given stated that either path down the tracks there was a wall of black substance. One group was suppose to touch the wall and report immediately, but nothing has gone through. Do you know when that thing... Dokebi as it called itself, will come back?"
Chase would get no response from his ally. None the less, the information did not bode well. It meant that either they were all trapped like rats, which made no sense, or something else to Terrance. What Chase would think was likely a different story. "If you have any idea as to explain what's happening, I'd appreciate the insight."

"My plan was that stupid imp would be able to give me intel on where there were, but he's been hard to reach since we got to the underground. I have no clue where he is or when he will be back. But I also know better than to ask people for help in a situation like this. I lay out the facts and people will either ignore me, help me, or try to hurt me. I'll be prepared for any result."
With a raised brow he tilted his head and looked a bit skeptical of the private for a moment. "I told you everything I know, there's nothing else I can give you. So with everything I've told you and everything you said, you make it sound like we're trapped with no way out that won't kill us. So what, pray tell, is your plan, private? And now that I'm being kept here longer than expected I think I can ask for what more information you may know and aren't telling me, if any. I was ready to have you deliver my message and be done, but clearly you seem to think I know more than I do, so my thought is now that you know something. Especially since I never said my stupid imp's name yet you seem to know it. The little asshole said right at the start that me and Rupert were the only two in his area when we started so you shouldn't know him. So either there are multiple of the fucker, which is an annoying thought, or you're hiding something."
He then stopped and looked up for a moment, pondering something and now looking more agitated than suspicious and wary. "Now that I say it aloud I guess it is total possible there's more than one of the bastard. Ugh. I hate that." His eye twitched with annoyance at the mental image of multiple Dokebei's circling his head and being just general nuisances.

The Private gave an indignant look to Chase. "Technically, I've told you what I could to keep things simple. Honestly, I don't think we are trapped. If what you said it true, then it's likely that the next area could be beyond that blak wall. Or it could be a trap. Maybe we have to go back out into whatever that stuff outside is and travel from station to station. I don't have just one plan." . The Private placed a gas mask onto the table as he made it a point that each of them were capable of heading out into a poisonous environment.
"Even if our masks don't work, we can still utilize Oxygen tanks to travel. I'm more worried that our.... Hosts... As you call them are going to constantly thin the herd. A culling if you will. My oath was to protect this nation and it's citizens. Right now, unless we've established a foothold I'm considering the nation lost. So I'll be damned if I don't at least try to protect the citizens to the best of my ability. That said.... I can't let you go. Considering how you stated things, people will likely want to follow you. We've yet to find out what all of the conditions of this current situation is. For all we know, if half of all the residents in this station leave and head into that wall, or die to it, it could trigger the next event. So, I'm planning yo stall for as much time as possible while establishing order."
The Private looked more and more exhausted as Chase looked at him. How long had he been in command here? Was he even fit for it? Logically, he had points, if the first round was a culling round, what was to say each round after that wouldn't be the same? Rubbing his eyes, the Private sighed. "I'm not saying I won't let you go, but please, at least cooperate with us until we figure out more about the situation. We don't have an obvious time limit, so there has to be a reason for it. Can I at least ask that of you?" . The Private almost pleaded with Chase. He was likely swamped as it is.
After Chase's answer, the private would nod, before clarifying, "I think there are multiple of them. The one my squad had was one with a suit and white fur. Other reports state varying things, but it's usually the same general appearance, and consequences if you actively resort to violence with them."

The alter tensed a bit at the prospect of staying still longer, but he understood what the soldier was saying. He was quiet for some time as he weighed things out but ultimately sighed and nodded. "You're right. Rushing out blindly with no intel is stupid. I know that. And if you asked me like... three hours ago logic would out weigh everything else and I would just robotically agree to it. I just... I guess it's... fear? Another thing I'm not used to. I can't let anything bad happen to those two. They are my- Chase's... nation. Just as you have everyone here to protect I have them. It's a much smaller scale but for me... a lot lies on finding them."
His grip on his legs tightened and the two dogs walked forward on either side of his chair; Max jumping up to have his front paws on the arm rest so Chase could pet him and Beauty baring fangs at the private seemed to think he is the cause for Chase's discomfort. However, since she made no moves to actually attack, Chase just left her to her empty threats. He sat holding Princess and patting Max who had pushed his head under the young man's hand. Had he always loved animals this much? I guess with how much Chase loved them it made sense. The were very comforting. Even Mamacita with her massive cold body wrapped around him was somehow soothing in a way.
His shoulders finally slouched, still not looking up into the private's eyes as he knew how childish and pathetic he looked right now and was frankly embarassed by it. "I... I'll stick around until your men get more intel. I won't leave the underground. But, I did get word from the imp bastard before he left that there was a kiosk that we could get supplies from somewhere in this section of the underground. I would like to go find that at least so I'm prepared to move as soon as you have the information you're looking for. Is that fair enough?"

The private smiled, likely getting a break for the first time this day. "Thank you. I understand it was a difficult choice for you to make. So I'll make do with this. As soon as I get any information, I'll let you know personally. For all I know, I could lose my command position in the hour, or I could end up staying in charge here. Either way, working together might be the best option both of us have. With that said, You're free to go. As soon as you find the Kiosk, let one of the service people know. We'll establish a perimeter to prevent people from causing trouble around it."
With that said, Chase would he free to leave. Rupert was no longer in sight, so he would need to hope Private Terrance could deliver his message. Looking about, Chase would find that despite how crowded the station was, it was mostly due to people having brought along various valuables they could carry with them, from duffle bags, backpacks, suitcases, garbage bags, or even eco friendly cloth grocery bags. People had various things with them, most of it shoved in, usually food, clothes, blankets, even a few camping tent bags and foldable chairs. Something that could be quickly grabbed and brought with them. Eventually, Chase would spot something like what the Dokebi had mentioned.... At least it seemed like that.
While most of the power was off, a small box television sat. It looked a bit out of place honestly, but what drew Chase's attention would be that unlike all of the other television or displays this one resembled no model that Chase was aware of, and what's more it was powered on. The screen a blue that most screens had by default, but it's boxy form was indeed exactly like a box. What's more, there was no antenna, no plug in, nor buttons. There weren't even vents that most older models of TVs had. What's more it looked industrialized, being made of what seemed like metal to an extent.
Others had noticed it, and some were even trying to move it, but it wouldn't budge. Chase would remember that Grimlok had mentioned that to use one's coins, they had to use their index finger and think of what they wanted to use their coins to do. It hadn't been explained that much, but with that said, Chase would see a familiar face. It was the good looking and charismatic man from before who had asked Chase what had asked Chase to explain what was going on.
