Born Brianne Vorstietz, Brianne was the youngest of four children of a family that lived in the hinterland of the small state of North Ambria, plying their trades as dye makers. The four of them were inseparable, her three older brothers pulling her along in their games and out of her shell. Essentially inseparable from them, she developed into a shy young woman as the years passed; her brothers’ stronger personalities often overshadowing her own. It was the advent of her twentieth summer that her life took a new direction. With her two oldest brothers having taken up the dye making trade, Brianne and the youngest brother instead chose different lives – her brother joined the North Ambrian army, and she went into study across national borders at a well to do academy, though it was not to last. Less than a year in, she received word that her brother had been charged with treason and was due to be executed. She returned home, and struck a deal; she would join the army as a footman, and her brother would be spared the axe but would remain imprisoned. It was not the life she wanted, but she chose it anyway.

Fate conspired against her.

Three seasons later she saw her first battle; a border skirmish with the very nation she had studied in the year prior – and was also here that the seed of North Ambria’s destruction was planted. The churning of the fields by both sides caused the unearthing of a dangerous relic, which was quickly seized by the warhawks within the nation’s military. Hoping to use it to win the looming war, they instead caused a disaster so great, North Ambria practically ceased to exist. The land, once fertile and abundant, was turned to salt. The effects were immediate. Mass panic, the collapse of any semblance of order. In the coming months, thousands would die. And in the chaos, her brother escaped and disappeared. With her homeland in tatters and now being divvied up by their neighbours, Brianne made the choice to leave and search for her brother, taking safe mercenary work in order to fund her travels. That was three years ago now. Along the way, she has picked up combat experience, seen distant lands, and most importantly: lost her brother forever. She is now a shade of the woman she was when she set out.

Drive:
Brianne doesn’t really have a goal in life anymore, both of her goals of finding her brother and returning home have fallen through and she’s found herself lost. She’s drifting through life now, living from one meal to the next.


Visual Appearance: Tall and Lithe, Brianne would catch attention even if she weren’t wearing her armour all of the time. Messy raven black hair that runs to her shoulders, red eyes and a visage that can be described as beautiful, the only thing out of place is a scar that runs along the underside of her jaw.

Clothing/Armor:
• Ambrian-Made Armour – Armour produced in the final days of North Ambria, this armour is light but sturdy, with a good range of movement and defence.
• Simple Underclothes – Because wearing just armour over no insulating layer is a poor idea.

Personality
Flighty and distant, Brianne is a kind soul who has learnt to try and not get too involved with others, but at the same time can’t help but get involved, her kindness peeking out from behind what seems to be cowardice too often to be faked.

Weapons/Items
• Demacian Produced Shield – From a forge in the capital of Demacia. Sturdy, bearing no sigil or crest.
• Meteorite Steel Sword – A simple longsword forged from meteorite steel, with slight engravings denoting a Noxian smith’s work.

Abilities/Powers
• Incredible Strength and Stamina – For her frame, Brianne’s physical strength is something that needs to be remarked on, almost as if she’s always running on adrenaline. Similarly, her stamina is nothing to sneeze at either; she can keep going far beyond what should be considered normal. Though she burns a lot of energy as a result, requiring a large intake of nutrition to maintain.
• Decent Fighter – Brianne has received training with a sword and shield, though she mainly prefers to use just the sword. She’s also had some experience with unarmed fighting, but she’s terrified of reliving the experience.
