Gauss grabbed Kirie's katana, grinning. He had shielded himself from the blast with the metal drum, but tossed it to one side and drew his own blade. Both were magnetised now. He saw the enemy ahead, clashing with Little Tyrant, and released both katanas. Using his Quirk, he shot them forward like bullets, point first, directly at the Bigilante! Gauss wasn't worried about hitting Kirie. As long as he had the katanas in sight, he could control their speed, their movement. All that mattered was getting this foolish girl out of the way!

Saionji could only focus on one at a time. She assumed that they would attempt to close the distance from each other and as they did that, they would need to avoid the metal spikes that were now scattered across the floor or get puncture wounds.
The makeshift caltrops would remain adhesive to whatever surface they were attached to and proved to be sharp enough to easily slice through flesh.
She wasn't in the position to pop more things into her mouth so she couldn't make anything else but now everything was out in the open and she could see where the two of them now where
But she was also out in the open. She was in disbelief for a moment, one of them had a huge metal tail but she couldn't focus on that at the moment. It seemed the other would be easier to deal with first but she knew that the mech-girl had to be kept in mind.
Then she was dealing with flying katanas. Childs play, if it weren't for thr need to avoid her own traps. She was nimble enough to avoid most of them but in her attempt to close the distance with the sword dancer while avoiding the swords he had meant she knicked herself a few times. Hopefully, though she closed the distance enough to land a strike on the guy, a punch straight to the face

Serena had been on a pretty quiet patrol tonight, all things considered. Authorized to do some field work in an area where there wasn't projected to be much trouble, just a generic bit of quiet work to keep her out of trouble. Too bad that plan had failed, as the report about a suspicious fleet of vans heading in the same direction on her patrol zone had come through, and she'd rushed to investigate. Full-fledged pros were en route as well, but she was the first on the scene... only to find their destination already on fire when she showed up.
"what in the... this escalated quickly. Now legally the responsible thing to do would be fall back and wait for a hero but" Serena said staring at the blaze "if this gets much more out of hand there's not going to be anything or anyone to save soooo, I have an excuse!"
With a grin, Serena sucked in heat from the raging fire and jumped in through one of the upper windows to see what was going on, and what she could do. Once inside, she quickly came across three individuals fighting, two on one it seemed. None of them looked like heroes though, so it was hard to tell who were the culprits for this blaze and who she needed to punch.
That being said, there were flying katanas and another combatant converging on the central one, so she'd have to figure out who needed to be arrested after making sure nobody needed to be buried.
Saionji's dilemma would be alleviated as Serena dropped down between Kirie and her, her outfit clearly denoting her as a hero and not another vigilante. A flash of silver descending from above followed shortly by a slight chill in the wind kicked up by said blur would be all Kirie would see before there was a girl in front of her.
Serena didn't waste the element of surprise asking questions either. At best the team of two were vigilantes she also had to arrest, at worst they were the villains here. Either way, everyone here was either a problem she had to deal with now, or later. So she skipped the banter and simply turned into a roundhouse kick packed with a huge mass of kinetic energy meant to send Kirie flying and do some serious damage... the good thing about this place already being on fire was that Serena could use her kinetic energy reserves without much restraint at all, there was plenty of energy around her to refill with.
"Alright, party's over all of you, I don't know who started this fight, or why, but all of you are going to come quietly, whether by choice or because you're unconscious." Serena said bluntly "personally I don't especially care which it is, but I AM required to give you the option to surrender so... here it is. Choose quickly though, the fire isn't going to wait long, and neither am I"

Kirie could see something, or rather someone come into her sights. She had no other real reaction but kill whoever this was willing to jump into the frey of a fight like this. The kick would meet a heavy clang of her metallic tail being whipped, the girl would only skid back a few inches. "Oh look, it's a baby hero. Reminds me of my Shiketsu days." She remarked like an old Betty, as if she wasn't just a few years older than the newcomer. "And why would we listen to a pipsqueak like you?" Serena was taller. Her tail slashes against the ground, sparks flying behind her. Why were villains supposed to back down with a sidekick present? She had no authority here.
"How's about you try that again?" With a cocky smile.

Gauss brought both katanas back, grabbing them with a swift motion and keeping them low to the ground. The girl was coming for him as someone else entered the fray. Another hero! So who was the first girl? He grinned, not moving from his spot as the girl swung for him, instead blocking the blow with his metal arm before driving the butt of his sword towards her head.
The warehouse burnt away in the background, but most of their cargo should be gone by now, taken by their goons. They just needed to keep these two distracted until they got the all clear, then escape before more heroes arrived.
"Heeeey, looks like ya got a friend! Or is it? Ya ain't a villain, or a hero. Did ya not manage to get into a good school, hmm, Ms. Vigilante? C'mon, ya must have more tricks! This fight is just getting interesting!"

Maybe choosing to burn down the building wasn't the smartest of decisions that Saionji had made, but it was something she had to deal with now. she wasn't in the business of second guessing herself and she wasn't about to start today. It seemed like the older male that she was fighting wasn't about to shy away from her advances... which was good. that would have been to easy. His physical strength was superior to hers, however and she knew as much as he had started pressing downwards on her. It wouldn't be to long that she would be able to hold her ground, but she could stand to throw him off balance. as he was putting all his pressure upon her body, she would suddenly drop downwards, as if her legs had buckled under his massive strength but, unexpectedly, she would have rolled underneath between the legs of the bigger guy and kick them from out under him.
a Hero had joined the scene which added to her current stress of the situation and she could feel her body start to feel sick from the residuals of the materials that she has been popping into her mouth...
she just needed to hold out for just a moment longer. She knew that resisting this hero was a bad call but... as was pointed out, this one was still a fledgling.
"You aren't doing everything strictly by the book either. With just a provisional, you could get in trouble for taking action without a hero present however...
enemy of my enemy is my friend?"
She offered, while keeping her watering eyes on Gauss. She wasn't about to let him out of his sight, and she wasn't about to back down until these villains were delt with.

Serena grunted as her opening attack was met with a powerful blow from her target, it wasn't the devastating blow she'd hoped for, but the tail lady did get pushed back. If she could best this one in brute force, and she had a ready supply of energy from the nearby fire, she could overcome this one. That hadn't even been as hard as she could hit after all. She could handle this... then one of the combatants spoke to her, offering a temporary alliance. A vigilante then?
Legally speaking, she wasn't supposed to cooperate with vigilantes. But glancing between the one she'd just clashed with and the sword wielding one she hadn't gotten a read on yet. Serena might've been in her element here, with a huge heat source radiating into the area and letting her use her quirk without restraint, but she had been evenly matched with the tail lady, and the sword guy didn't look like a slouch... it made no sense to fight all three people here at once when she could have an ally. The heroes would be busy intercepting the vans that had prompted this investigation in the first place, she was going to be on her own for a bit.
"I certainly won't be opposed to you beating up one of my opponents for me. I'll just pretend I think you're some lesser known hero engaging the villains, should cover my ass just fine." Serena said "not gonna be able to cover for you if you get caught when the rest of the heroes arrive though, so be sure to get gone before that happens."
Serena looked back to Kirie, calling her a pipsqueak while being the shorter one of them "you're an all brawn no brains type huh? Well I could explain to you why you should surrender, but frankly that just wouldn't be as fun for me. So please, hit me with your best shot. If that fancy tail of yours couldn't even overpower my opening strike, I'd love to see how you think you're going to win this."
Serena could've gone on the offensive here, but if this villain was as dumb as she looked and sounded so far, provoking her would be more effective, maybe she could steer the fight closer to the burning building to give her even more power to work with. If she could slightly outperform Kirie at this distance from the blaze, then if they got closer she could absolutely pound the villain into the dirt

Kirie chuckled. She meant in age, but that was neither here nor there. The yakuza-woman stood tall, and took note of Serena's words. She was acting like they weren't there. "Hey, you're supposed to take her to jail too, pipsqueak. Did your superiors even give you permission to be here? There's baby bottles at home, I'm sure." She held herself from launching herself at the girl like she usually would but she eyed the vigilante. Perhaps it was in their best interest to pick that one off first. Serena was just a puppy waiting for her supervision in her eyes. The tail retracted back into her body as her eyes returned back to Serena. Her fighting partner was Gauss. They didn't need to speak in order to fight in sync. This baby hero just met this unknown person. Their teamwork would be shotty at best.
Whether they took Serena down first or, Saionji down first, it didn't really matter to her. She really only cared about the completion of the mission. If the van were compromised, then it meant they just needed to clear these two and go home. Remaining facing Serena, Kirie slowly made steps toward Gauss.

"Heh! Heroes are all such hypocrites, right Kirie?"
Gauss had taken the brunt of Saionji's leg sweep, but it wasn't quite enough to topped him. He put some distance between them, so he and Kirie were now back to back. The warehouse burnt in the background, growing hotter with evert moment. That should provide enough distraction for the two enemies. They just had to keep them busy.
"An unlicensed girl and a student... acting like Strive himself! Hah, what a load of shit! Perhaps you need to... get some perspective!"
Gauss turned where he stood, as he swung his katanas and released them towards Serena, two spinning blades that cut through the air with speed and ferocity. Then he spun, grabbing Kirie by shoulders, swiftly lining her up with the Vigilante.
"Gauss Cannon: Prehistoric Style!"
Kirie's polarity changed to the same as Gauss, and suddenly they were incredibly repulsive to each other! Gauss released his grip, sending his partner in crime towards Saionji, like a bullet through the air to close the gap.
