Tanzo was relieved Alice didn't press him on his little slip. For as blunt and forward as she came off as, she was showing a shocking amount of tactfulness and understanding. Either that or she was oblivious... jury was out there for now.
"For the best they don't really. Trust me the last thing you want is a bumpy car ride with me in the backseat with you." Tanzo said "I know I look like regular flesh and blood for the most part, but my whole body is made of a sort of organic metal. I weigh more than most cars... thankfully modern cars like this are designed with enough structural integrity for me... but you wouldn't fare so well if I were bouncing around the backseat with you.
Tanzo would take his seat in the car and give Alice a smile "I'm free this weekend by the way, if you want to schedule a reservation somewhere. Just make sure the place is cool with mutants and all. I don't wanna be on the hook for breaking restaurant furniture... again... when it's a high end place"

Alice gave a loud laugh at the thought of the large boy bouncing around the car like a washing machine that came loose mid cycle. "Yes but it would be quite a treat to see." She noted, wiping a tear from her eye. "Ah, well. To UA please, Edward."
"Right away Mith. Clarke."
And with that they headed to campus. The ride was mostly full of idle chatter about hobbies. Alice, proving to be even less like any rich person Tanzo had ever met, was horrible at just about every musical instrument she ever tried and her singing voice sounded like a cat wailing in pain as someone forcibly dragged it's nails on a chalk board. That was how she explained it at least and considering it was followed immediately by Edward begging her not to sing just to prove a point, it seemed to most likely be true. Suprising no one, Alice was much more into physical activities. She enjoyed basketball on occasion, only playing it though. Watching sports to her was boring and pointless. Mostly she enjoyed martial arts, boxing, and sword fighting; real sword fighting with real swords, not the pansy shit with oversized flimsy needles. Though, the driver did chime in again to comment that Alice was actually quite good at fencing despite her distaste for it.
When they finally pulled up to the campus and Tanzo mentioned being free that weekend she gave a sligh grin and a nod. "Of course! Text me what you would like and I'll find a place for it. And not to worry, I refuse to give my business to any establishment that isn't fully accessibly to everyone." She chuckled.
Edward circled around and opened the door for Tanzo, bowing as the young man took his leave. However, he would feel his hand get grabbed just as he got out of the car. Alice gave him the most soft and genuine smile he had seen from her all night. "If you need anything at all, even if it is just an ear to vent to, I'm a call or text away. Starting next week I'll be even closer so... please don't hesitate. I, more than many people, I think understand some of the pains you may face."
Of course the girl notice his earlier comment. She wasn't going to say anything but felt the need to at least offer help if he ever needed it. With that, she let go of his hand and gave him a nod. "Good night, Tanzo. Rest well."
And she was gone. The car drove off and vanished into the night. All was calm. However, whenever Tanzo decided to turn around and head back to the dorm he would be face to face with a smaller teen in a pair of black sweatpants with a rainbow strip down the sides, a black cropped tank top with a unicorn farting a rainbow on it, and a pair of black sneakers that showed at least he had the common sense to not wear his thigh high boots when out for a late night run. He stared at the furnace dumbfounded for a moment, clearly having seen the car that just dropped him off and the butler that let him out of the car.
You are going to tell me EVERYTHING that lead to this moment. He signed, before grabbing Tanzo by the arm and dragging him all the way back to the dorm.
