"Yes sir, right away, there are two ways to undo the effects of my power, either undo the fold or soak the object in water, fresh or salt works." Kiu knelt down and undid the crease returning the man to his former shape and volume. "As far as I am aware the object is not damaged and experiences no pain, I haven't really used it on humans before... So you'd have to ask your man what it feels like." Kiu smiled a bit placing her hands behind her back. "I believe I did my best not to hurt him too much sir, just disorient him."

Crux paused, before looking at Kiu like she was mad. How could anyone survive this?! Still, if anyone knew how their devil powers worked, it would be her, and surely she would have at least had the mercy to not kill or cripple Raiku, right? Taking a moment, Crux quickly unfolded Raiku who was half scared to death that he was going to stay flat for the rest of his life like a limp towel; only to quite literally pop back to his normal dimensions when he was no longer folded up. Checking himself as he sat up; Raiku moved his hands along his body before breathing a sigh of relief that nothing was actually hurting.... well, nothing outside of his face and pride as he now had a scuffed face from the mat.
Crux looked at Raiku with astonishment, as he double checked his ribs. None were broken, and to be honest, he couldn't understand how this was possible. "I will be honest with you Ensign.... I have never seen anything like this. I've heard of some of the crazy stuff, but I didn't think it did things this crazy......" Crux scratched his head as he shook it in disbelief. Raiku on the other hand was still breathing heavily, before he looked at Kiu, this time with a bit more wariness than disgust in his eyes. Crux patted him on the shoulder, "Take five Raiku. I want to experience this for myself." the Luitenant said as he removed the coat on his shoulders. "It seems I didn't take into consideration the mental impact your fruit has on others. If I want to ensure our men are ready, I need to lead by example. Ensign Kiu, on your mark, prepare your move." Crux stated, as he placed himself into the ready stance, before giving a nod to her.
Kiu's experience would find that he was using a bit of a different stance from Raiku's standard marine fisticuffs. His stance was not too wide, nor too tight, he was standing lightly on the balls of his feet, and what's more he minimized her area to grapple by slightly turning his body. She'd need to fully commit if she wanted to perform most shoulder throws, or catch him mid transition of his stances. His hands were at the ready, one in front with a crooked arm, and the other close to his chest. However, instead of a fist, his hands were open; indicating that if he did punch, it was a part of the movement. These were things Kiu would be able to see due to her training, so she knew he would be a far faster fighter than Raiku and his decision for brute forcing things.

"Yes sir." Kiu assumed position opposite of him and bowed in respect but he took stance almost immediately. Unlike the rookie he seemed to have some basic understanding of posture and poise but that didn't necessarily mean it was a good understanding. The balls of your feet are essentially springs and are used to evade or attack this was drilled into kius head since a young age, if you see an opponent assume a stance focusing on the balls of their feet then they will likely do one of two actions when confronted dodge or feint. With that lesson in mind she took a step forward and pushed off of the mat with her toes dropping into a sliding kick in an attempt to take out his ankles but this was a freight as her hands struck out to grab either the leg he struck with or his feet as he tried to dodge her strike.

As Kiu had anticipated, Crux was indeed not a rookie, and his choice to counter her move was exactly proof of that. As instead of side stepping to dodge, or feinting, Crux went straight for the attack as well. Unlike Raiku who had recklessly charged in, Crux's choice was a counter to her attempt to feint, as he instead shifted forward, hooking his front leg to where Kiu's would have moved. He aimed to inturrupt her stance and throw her off balance. Of course, he was quick enough to notice the lack of force behind Kiu's attempted strike, and weaved back just out of reach, before swinging his front arm, knocking away Kiu's closest grip, before attempting to grab the wrist of her other arm. If she was quick enough, Kiu would be able to step back, but right now Crux was far too close to properly leverage his weight against him.
Of course, she could still risk the attempt to grapple him, but it would be stupidly sloppy, and at a low guarantee to work.
Reiku cheered, "THAT'S THE TICKET!" rooting for Crux, though the man before her was obviously gritting his teeth, and focused on his sparring partner. Crux knew only a bit about her choice of grapple. From how Crux had seen, as well as how her fruit operated, the moment he was grappled would be the end, so avoiding those two hands were the best option, as well as interrupting her stance. If he could keep the pressure on her by keeping her in check, it would be more effective than using brute force alone.
