He wouldn't stop there. "They both managed?" He gritted his teeth, noticing a change in formation. They were preparing for something but what? One had ice, and the other had springy limbs. It was an odd stance to take, and Benkei wasn't really sure the guy even had the range to do anything. Still he couldn't put anything passed anyone. He'd continue his sprint forwards making sure to brace himself. Shit! Before he could understand the point of the guy's stance, two fists came blaring right towards him. Block? Dodge? Counter? They thought they had the element of surprise. He'd have to reverse that very sensation. He'd take the hit head on clutching the fists as soon as they landed. Even with the padding of his suit, this attack knocked the air out of his chest. He'd stop low and pull as hard as he could. Only two outcomes would result of this. Either the spring would jerk the guy closer or jerk the Space Cadet closer. While he stressed the springs, it also gave him a second to catch his breath.
"C'mon now... Just a bit more." He'd mutter under his breath.

The spring villain did indeed take a chance with Benkei's grip, retracting his springs to drag the boy closer. As he did, his ice-cold compadre readied himself, a sly grin across his face. It was as if this had been a trap for them after all! He clenched his fists as the springs pulled Benkei closer, cold air whopping around then.
"Heh, dumb kid! Let's see you get out of an ice box with those fancy stars of yours!"

Benkei was relieved he was the one being flung. How lucky! He'd stomp one foot onto the ground to create some lift while simultaneously letting go early. He wouldn't be able to make minute adjustments. Or at least, that's what he wanted them to think. For a moment time stopped for Benkei. So this was what it was like to put his life on the line, but not fight with the intent to kill. It was hard. In fact, making sure to make his attacks less lethal was gnawing at his brain... Seemingly only his life were on the line... but... but... He thought to the his dear cousin who'd face backlash for letting someone innocent die. Fuck, it was such a hard thing to comprehend. The stakes were infinitely higher on the hero's side, while villains kept getting the upper hand, being able to fight with no restraints, and even using hostages. He was grateful for a chance to meet everyone at the Dragon agency.
If he was to truly accept and face every battle as if it were his last, he was to fight with every intention of preserving life. This meant for himself and others. A savior, it was the kind of hero he wanted to be! It meant he could only do what he could in this moment. He wasn't Nocturne. He wasn't his friends or his teachers. He was Benkei Yozara. With that much, he could stake his life on fighting without any restraint and just trusting himself not to take things too far. At the same moment time began again for him, he stopped second-guessing himself. The facts as he knew them were still the same. He was being flung toward the villains. Not only had he let go, he was airborne. Okay... Taking in his environment, it looked like the Ice villain had something up his sleeve.
He'd reel back hard, and brace to punch. The skin along his knuckles glittered with a familiar stardust before finally forming a large star shield to bash right into the both of them. "Shield Constellation: Seiken!"

The star surged forward, slamming into the spring villain and shoving him backwards into the one with the ice. They grunted as they were thrust backwards into a wall, trapped by the star shield. "Damnit... you bastard!"Benkei would see the spring villain slump, trapping his friend behind the star shield. Their loot fell from their hands, yen bills spilling out on the street from their sacks. It seemed like it was all over.
"Man, you two really are useless to our cause."The alleyway that they had entered had a figure standing in the entrance. Lean, tall, a tusked mask across their face. One arm had a sack over one shoulder, the other on their hips as they watched with a keen interest. "Getting beat by some kid? Tch. This was gonna be easy. You deserve to go down."They raised a hand, and from the ground rose up a concrete fist. She flicked her wrist, and it surged forward towards the two, threatening to crush them flat against the wall.

Benkei exhaled slowly to steady his heart rate. He wasn't out of the woods just yet. There were other robbe- no! Who was this newcomer? Was she with them before? Not only that, but she seemed so locked in on killing the two for their shortcomings, that she seemingly forgot he was standing right there. She had the intention to kill. It was an unmistakable sense of blood lust. By instinct, he reached behind his back with both hands. A flicker from his hands, as he settled into a lower stance. A stance that was well-balanced, and careful. He got a sense of danger from the first two, but this woman was different. It was the same evil sensation he felt around certain yakuza family members.
"Blade Constellation: Iai... Hoshi-KEN." A flicker at his fingertips would turn into a sizable star with sharp edges, that he swung to meet the woman's concrete attack in a rising swing to cleave it in half. He wouldn't stop there. His feet shuffled, and his swing continued full circle to launch the starry weapon as a shuriken next. "Hoshi-shuriken!" Due to his continued momentum, the weapon had an obnoxious amount of spin, only adding to its cutting power.

The hand was cut in half before it could land a killing blow. The woman frowned, like someone who felt mildly inconvenienced at a fly landing on their sushi roll. She lifted her gaze to Benkei, watching with no feigned interest as he hurled his shruiken her way. With a small sigh she lifted both hands, bringing them together in a clap. Hands appeared from the walls, slamming together with Benkei's weapon in the middle.
"Annoying. You're annoying. Can't you see I'm trying to reprimand these two pieces of trash?"
She raised her hands, palm up. The concrete hands followed suit, and the villain thrust them forward, two palm strikes from hands the size of people. They surged towards Benkei, cutting the distance swiftly.

Benkei eyed the palms. Where they slammed the shuriken was a deep imprint, meaning a weak point he could strike at. Benkei steeled himself, jumping up to meet them with a palm strike of his own right where his Hoshishuriken was slammed. Clearing the bottom half of the hands, the young hero sprinted forward ignoring the tingling sensation in his palms. "I can't take any chances... she's so much stronger than those two." He muttered to himself. If she controlled concrete, he needed to be weary of his footing. He'd veer right and jump. Planting two steps along the wall with his own momentum, and leaped even higher so that he could be above her. With a hand up, stars illuminated around him one finding itself right in his clutches and keeping him from touching the floor.
It seemed like an attack was coming, but it never actually came. Benkei just hung with his aligning stars around him at the ready. He was trying to throw her timing off.

The ploy seemed to work. The villain brought her hands over her head in a clap, and hands rose up from the ground around her, slamming together. Yet they struck where Benkei should have been, missing him entirely. The villain frowned slightly. She sucked in an annoyed breath, then clenched her hands into fists and struck forward.
The disembodied hands followed suit, a double thrust punch upwards and towards Benkei!

Benkei squinted at the woman. He was willing to trade blows. Her focusing so much on making and manipulating these hands probably meant she wouldn't be able to focus on defense... right? He hoped so or else this gamble would go to waste. The struggle with enemies like this was that they had no variation of attacks, they were ALL powerful. The hero curled up in an attempt to absorb the impact, but he'd ragdoll upward at the concrete rammed into him. . Coughing up blood as he was struck, the young hero wasted no time, and letting the stars fly downward in a glittering volley. They'd cause powerful explosions on impact. "SKY FALL." It was his hardest hitting move he couldn unleash at a distance. If he could finesse a way closer, a Seiken strike or Supernova Strike ought to do the trick. He needed to do real damage, or else she'd be left to do what she wanted. Whether those two bozos were villains or not, they didn't deserve to lose their lives.
His mind rolled, mainly because he'd lost consciousness for a moment there. He just barely landed on his feet, scuttling down to his hands and knees. That double fisted punch hurt like hell. He couldn't allow her too many hits... He'd be done for, or even worse!

The villain narrowed her eyes as the stars began to fall. She raised both of her hands above her head, palm up, creating two concrete versions that took the falling stars. The strikes were hard, and true, and the landing blasts kicked up dust and billowing clouds of debris, choking the alley and covering the combatants.
There was a second of reprieve before the villain stepped forward out of the shroud, shaking layers of debris from her shoulders. She eyed Benkei with a glower, but her hands were in her pockets, and the concrete fists were nowhere to be seen. Had his attack damaged her weapons?
"Didn't realise you heroes would risk your life for two insects like these. If you wanted to die so badly, you should have just said."
She shook her head, bending down and grabbing the sack that she had put down a few minutes before. Sirens were in the distance. She raised her head, like an animal listening out for predators.
"Sounds like my time is up. Yours too. Looks like you can't stand, let alone fight."
She turned on her heel suddenly, beginning to walk away.
"Got one more attack in you, little star child? Nows your chance."

Benkei glared at the villain, and slapped his radar wrist. Over here, over here- He thought to himself. The ping would alert the police of his exact location the same way a cell phone would. He wondered what he was supposed to do in this moment. He felt like he could sweat a pool in this damn hero suit. He'd hold one hand out collecting stars, while the other unzip the suit. Only the sound of his helmet hitting the ground could be heard as he rushed forward at top speed, ridding himself of his suits protective padding and focusing on speed alone. He couldn't let her go, right? He'd be letting Ghidora and the others down. His adrenaline was at its peak.
Projectiles launched from his fist, but he paid no mind in lining up an accurate shot. He wanted to corral this villain back toward the alley. IF he could stall long enough, maybe he could wait until the police or Ghidora got there. He panted as he continued forward. His free hand remained behind his back.... just in case.

The villain leapt back as Benkei fired off an array of warning shots. It pushed her back into the alley, and she spun around to face him. Her eyes were furious.
"How dare you."
Her hands were torn free from her jacket. They were indeed charred, but that didn't seem to cut through her anger. She flexed her fingers, and hands began to claw themselves from the concrete walls around them. More than two, there were at least four pairs now!
The villains eyes were wide as she balled fists together, her concrete puppet-hands following suit.
"How dare you, you insect!"
She thrust her fists forward, and all eight hands shot down towards their prey. The villain was now roused on Benkei, seemingly aiming to squash him like the bug she took him for.

This wasn't planned, but rather instinct. The hand behind his back would tug hard, as he forced himself past his limits. In a rushed movement, Benkei pivoted immediately to the first fist in his path. "Iai... dark star." Stepping into the shadow of the concrete fist, he'd unsheath his tanto before quickly sheathing it back. The movement would accel to the incoming fist behind it. These weren't the only projectiles, sadly. The women had 6 more, ready to pummel him into the ground. After bifurcating one pair of hands in a seemless motion, he warded one more hand with an incredibly weak Seiken fist. He was gasping for air at this point, his muscles constricting and becoming heavy instead of giving him his usual light springy step. There was no way he could move fast enough. BOOM! He was hit, two fingers falling off the very hand the hit him as Benkei wielded the blade in a defensive stance. BOOM! Another hand slammed into him, then another and another. The world around him distorted as he got hit. Sounds felt like they echoed... His sight? Blurry. Before he knew it, the young hero fell to his knees before falling fully face down unconscious. Benkei was down.

Benkei would see, through blurry vision, the hands sweeping forward. Then a streak of grey, but what could it be? He was out cold, entering a swirling world of unconscious dreams. Wind and gravity, as if he was being flown through the air. The feeling of flight was like being a star, shooting across the sky, feeling the air around his body. Voices were a million miles away, warmth enveloping him, gentle bells that filled his ear with soothing melodies...
Benkei would wake in a hospital bed, though far more comfortable than a general medical room. It would be fairly obvious that this was within the Magma Fields, decorated in the same traditional Japanese style, dragon motifs filling every wall and corner. A faint smell of incense filled his nose, and the harmonious chiming bells clanged every few moments. He would feel bruised and battered, but far better than he should have.
"Hey, kid. Ya awake?"
Ghidora was standing over him. She had her arms crossed, but she was smiling.

Immediately clutching his heart, Benkei reached for his tanto with his free. There was a ridiculous amount of bloodlust coming from his panicked expression, though it was due to PTSD from events of his youth. He'd faced more than too many near death experiences... Ghidora speaking to him didn't even register until late. "What?" He wondered, expression returning to normal. To his surprise it wasn't on his person, but with the rest of his gear near the wall. Ghidora was beside him and he was in... where was he exactly? The dragon motif felt familiar, almost like his cousin. He didn't really remember what happened before he had passed out, but her being at his bedside clearly meant he'd lost... The boy couldn't help but frown.
"Sorry, I couldn't complete the mission on my own..." He could bring himself to make eye contact. "I understand if you don't want me joining the agency." Who would want a failure? It was his chance to show off all the skills he'd learned, a chance to breathe life into all the resources people poured into him up until this point. Nocturne saving him, Mama Bear giving him a place to live, Terebii allowing him into the school, and even the Dragon Heights allowing him to try out for the agency. In all honesty, Benkei was feeling like a complete waste of space. His dreams of repaying everyone was slipping through his fingers. He tried to look toward Ghidora but she was distorted, tear accumulating. Wasn't that how things worked? Hero students only get one shot... and he blew it. Damn it!
