Cosmic Warrior and the Dragons!

What? "W-what?" He couldn't understand what he was hearing. That was a lie. It was more true to say he didn't feel like he deserved such praise. A great job? He did a great job! His entire face flushed into a red hue. "N-n-no. I didn't do anything, I just got lucky is all!" He didn't have enough confidence to take bold compliments like that. By nature, he was shamefully modest... From his expression. he was clearly still flustered, tears still rolling. Though this time, it was joyful tears. Allies. She was his ally. He nodded, struggling to look Ghidora in the eyes. He simply watched the tears fall onto his tightly closed fist. 

It was at this point the seal broke into his view, forcing him to look at her in shock. Opening his hand, he accepted it and stared down at it as if he'd been awarded a gold medal. He'd never... He... He... Words couldn't come for how he was feeling. The embarrassment escaped him, his blushing as well. For some reason, his thoughts went back to his memories as a first year. Thinking of hero names, coming up with suit ideas for fun and thinking of agency titles. The Dragon Heights. This was very real! It wasn't him just playing a part, he finally made his first step as a hero. Space Cadet Kyo, it felt like a joke now that he'd seen real combat in a hero's cape. It was entirely different from fighting for his life against rival gangs back home. The hero name...-He was trying too hard to be like The Rocket... He wasn't quite sure where it came from, but his next memory jumped back to Ghidora challenging him-

"Hmph. Ya said yer didn't have a hero name yet. Why? Don't expect me to believe that spiel ya fed to Abyss. What's stoppin' ya from steppin' into a pair of Hero boots?"


"NightSky!" He blurted out in response to the memory. It probably seemed random to Ghidora but, it was important to him. "My hero name going forward will be Night Sky! I'll protect whatever sits under the night sky!" 

A bold claim, but there was a fierce sense of determination erupting from his wet eyes. He clutched the seal and held it close to his heart, "And I'll make the Dragon Heights proud!" He did it! He finally took his first step as a hero. He wanted to scream from a mountain top of something. He had to tell Yo, Serena, Faliwah, Mama Bear and Nocturne; everyone who supported him until this far! He took the seal and eyeballed it again with a goofy, teary grin. He was like an ecstatic child. For a kid who came from nothing, he was finally making his way to something BIG!
