"Play nice! Is that so much to ask for?"
General Information
Full Name:Xehem Sistera-Xi
Codename or Alias:Xerox
Anonymity: Unknown

Age:37
Place Of Birth: Sistera, Ovia System
Occupation/Status:
Deep-Space Infiltrator
Wiki Editor For Over 27 Games
Government Internship
Alignment: Neutral
Factions:TBD
Canon Or Original?: Original
Powers/Abilities:
Shapeshift: Through hyperfocused evolution, Visien evolved traditional camouflage, through mimicry, into fully fledged shapeshifting. A Visien can mimic any species that is within 40% of its size and volume, and can even consistently fabricate biometric traits. Visien that are sent to infiltrate planets of particularly exotic species undergo gene therapy to adapt to more volatile changes, Xehem has not done such a thing.
Omnitoxicology: As a byproduct of evolutionary pressure and a highly developed shapeshifting ability, Visien are extremely resilient to foreign substances like poisons and drugs
Towerlings: Visien are adept at sticking to surfaces to climb, and can do so despite their chosen form.
Primal Snarl: Vistera have strange pseudopods running upwards above their clavicles and downwards through their backs. These appendages, called Snarls, can pulse and surge gently with shapes and colors, and are presumed to be an evolutionary leftover of a primitive form of communication. Visien technology developed to the point where it can be concealed within these gelatinous growths, and they function as biological pockets; items within them are hidden while Shapeshifted, and can be retreived from them in spite of it.
Visien Infiltrator: As a chosen 'soldier' of their people, Xehem has been trained in interpersonal psychology, social engineering, , fabricating truths, adaptability, and in maintaining calm even in the face of adversity. While Visien prefer to not practice direct combat, Xehem is agile and fleeting, and studied human phisiology enough to trip and misdirect attackers while inflicting the least harm possible.
Weapons/Items:
Interfaces: Xehem carries portable computers within their Snarl, two the size of a smartphone, and a bigger, foldable one for more thorough operations. After some legwork, they can seamlessly integrate with most earthly modern devices. While their bare form is purely utilitarian, all Visien technology can shapeshift with them.
The Paintbrush: The single most important tool in a Visien infiltrator's arsenal is a thin stylus-like device. The Paintbrush allows a Visien to interact with alien technology with commanding power. Putting the tip in contact with a device completes a circuit between the Visien and all of their technology they carry, and focuses this enormous computing power in one spot. The most common uses of the Paintbrush are to clone code, access or tamper with input and output, establish links between alien systems and portable Interfaces, and a host of other emergent applications. The Paintbrush has a much more limited, but still important aplication when in contact with organisms, which is to provide a full biometric scan of the subject, allowing the Visien to then shapeshift in a perfect simulacrum of the chosen person. While biometric traits will be mimicked flawlessly and can fool most observing mechanisms, some forms of traits and mutations can only be mimicked; physiological powers might have flaws in their duplication, and non-physiological ones might not be copiable at all. Standard procedure is to carry no less than three of these.
Dropfruits: A marvel of biotechnology, a programmable fruit. Dropfruits are offshoots of the highly toxic fruits that dot the Visien's main homeworld, and with their level of intelligence and adaptability, one might consider them a domesticated species. By default, dropfruits explode into a puff of sour smoke when cracked open, however, by using the Paintbrush and injecting different evolutionary pressures onto them, they can instead eject other forms of deterrence, such as hard caltrops, sticky webs, chilling fumes, and other hindering defense mechanisms. While all of these can deter assailants, they're hardly capable of causing permanent injuries, unless consumed, in which case, whatever god oversees your planet have mercy on your soul.
Appearance
"Well, nobody gasped for onc-ah, scratch that"
Physical Appearance:
Visien are lithe, reptilian creatures of about 1,6 meters of heights, featuring bright colors and flairs that are almost never seen outside of their homeworld. Their most defining features are their crowned heads, their large, almost disjointed jaws to chew through the most odious flora, and their flourescent, vibrating apendages that run through their chests and backs. A Visien's colors can be traced through their parentage, as colors mix through generations, and while they're very interchangeable, they still hold a 'true' hue close to their chest. Xehem's dark purple is contrasted with a neon pink at the tip of their snarls and their sets of 3 digits.
Personality
"I poke around and find out"
Sexual Orientation: What?
General Personality: Visien work quite dilligently to be carefree, and none exemplify this more than their off-orbit agents. The conveniences of their newfound office behind the anonimity of the internet means that they needn't be too concerned with creating a convoluted facade. Xehem enjoys poring over data almost as much as they do poring over delicate pictures, taking in their every details as if they were both some elaborate equation waiting to be solved, flawed as they both might be. They're generally fine with keeping their train of thought to themselves, it is suggested to not pull the trolley's lever. Xehem is vexingly calm even while in dire straits, and has learned from both human fiction and reality that this disarming personality is an asset to their mission, so they've consciously double down on it.

History:
Maneuvering towards objective, inhabited planet one Terra, Sol System. Orbit is crowded with rubbish and satelites, some of which our sensors suggests are alive. Orbit Stable structures detected, mapping course to maximize distance from all possible hazards. Cloaking systems engaged, releasing pod and engaging FTL drive to send ship back home. I better not hear you scratched this

Aquatic landing completed succesfully, currently drifting on the undercurrent of a bridge under surface level. Nighttime should arrive shortly for an easier disembarking. Gravity is lower than Osmiria, tolerable. Traffic over these bridges never seems to stop, what kind of strange, streamlined operation does this metropolitan sector provide to this world's inhabitants?
[...]
Oh good grief, this is a civilian compound
[...]
Initial reconaissance has been unimpended. The inhabitants of this city do not seem to care for each other in the slightest. First contact form was unquestioned as was my contemplative silence. Broadcasts light up the buildings, but no one stops to look at them. Commonplace devices have been detected, assimilated into Interfaces. Cross-reference this "Bug-droid" with our databases
[...]
The dominating species 'Humans' have conveniently created an easily accessible information network, accessible from virtually anywhere in the city, through poorly encrypted digital access points defended by measly centegesimal passwords of unknown length. The prospect is alarming, there have been no signs of swarm intelligence, draconian discipline, or other forms of global indoctrination to require such a thing
[...]
This network is incomprehensible, and not by design
[...]
Interfaces are slowly collecting what is presumably software designed with malicious intent. I don't intend to repurpose them.
[...]
Reconaissance continues, bureaucratic layers when it comes to currency and social status means fabricating an identity will be an ordeal. I've narrowed down a number of semi-reliable sources on this Internet, and they're still mostly crowdsourced or uncurated. Tell Amsireia that the news about the quadruple doomsday solar eclipse and the whole theory about a warped flat planet are false.
[...]
Amount of bloat in human machines is staggering. Everyday devices have around 50 different options of which 6 are expected to be used, a handful of which either provide unwarranted information or ask for currency for what appears to be no substantial benefit in the real world. I do not understand the appeal.
[...]
Humans seem to have an affinity for romanticizing violence
[...]
I am investigating the appeal
[...]
Identity forged succesfully. While finding enough food, or currency to aquire food was relatively short work, financing lodging seems unfeasible
[...]
These are such strange, interactive artistic renditions, trapped in a puzzle that intends to frustrate its prey into handing over currency for a chance at the solution, incredibly insidious
[...]
I don't like that I see the appeal
[...]
Managed to finance temporary lodging through a data scraping operating known as 'Rise-Mara'. Operation is clandestine as per the software used, looking into more consistent forms of financing
[...]
Check out this highly detailed scaled specimen, I can't believe it only exists in fiction with how consistently it is rendered
[...]
There seems to be anomalous subspecies within the human race, some of which are high profile political or public figures. I can consider using such as an excuse should the mission be compromised
[...]
Data-scraping and information organization is a lucrative business. I'm being given funds anonymously for organizing mostly freely available information for people that are trying their best not to spend it in these online distractions. I don't understand the dichotomy but I find it hilariously convenient.
[...]
Why is it more appealing when the outcome can't be fixed?
[...]
Managed to clone personal device of a government official, clearance is insuficient, but I've gotten most of the ground-level access to what appears to be a far-reaching military organization. I'll make sure to process all this information before attempting to fight my way up
[...]
Their attention is more easily grabbed when the title is less accurate?
[...]
After a very risky ground operation, I managed to duplicate a higher-level clearance. Information gathered suggests that Humans have had affairs with a number of interplanetary authorities such as the Green Lanterns, the Nova Corps, and more. I'll pore more over this policing, as it might mean that intervention will not be necessary.
[...]
No, we shouldn't waste this succesful assimilation. I can remain on standby. Extraction seems unnecessary.
[...]
Just let me stay on standby, alright?

Tomorrow I can finally Max Prestige~
