As soon as his flare went off, Benkei wasted no time. After these first few clashes, he'd figured out the formula. Aligning star was his best bet, so the 2nd year found himself sky bound. The star that was once a solar flare now dissolved due to Yo's vibration attack. It meant one thing really. That Yo would be looking for him. It wouldn't be hard, he'd make it easy for her. Above multiple stars hung overhead, each one expanding greatly in size, Benkei hanging off of one. He honestly wasn't sure how this would go. This cluster was larger than any he'd fired off before, it was why he chose it to be an aerial assault.
"Shooting Star... SKY FALL." He yanked down to blast the star he was hanging on downward, and the rest of them would follow suit in a sparkling blitz. They'd detonate on impact regardless of if they landed or not. In a battle of quirks, Benkei thought of it as a complete loss, but as this battle went on, he'd learn just because someone's quirk countered his didn't mean he had to give up. The battle could be decided by will and wit. For some reason fighting her made him want to go harder and really try his best! In a battle of wit, he'd stick to his guns. He'd spent so much time perfecting what he was good at. While there were times like now where trying something new had it's uses, but he wouldn't be able to make any use of it if he changed things up too hard. He wouldn't notice this himself but,
Benkei smiled as he fought Yo.

The aerial assault wasn't something Yo could counter. She simply had to watch, wide-eyed, as Benkei's stars fell to earth, hitting the ground around her with power. She yelped, arms over her head, unable to protect herself against the move. There was a period of dust and rubble being kicked into the air, filling the area with a smokescreen.
As it cleared, Yo fell to one knee. She winced, feeling pain on her arms and back, and aching across her whole body. Yo looked up at Benkei with a wide smile, shaking her head.
"Alright, alright, I yield!"
She got to her feet, a bit unsteady, wincing at her wounds.
"How annoying... I thought I had you, but you could get distance far too easy! Your quirk is amazing, by the way. You're like a direct counter to my vibrations! That's why I tried to finish the fight right at the start. I can't hit airborne targets easily."

Landing on the ground with a solid thump, Benkei ran over to check on Yo. His smile was ever-present. While he was worried, the satisfaction of a good fight filled him with such a rush. "You DID have me." He'd say presenting his hand to her, his digits distorted and obviously broken. "Your quirk can dissolve my stars, I didn't even know that was possible. Plus, I didn't have a plan after Skyfall. Usually, I try to beat someone up if I feel like my quirk isn't working but I couldn't have punched you if I wanted to." He looked at the rubble they created. This was definitely NOT regular concrete. It was a strong substance. He hadn't noticed at the moment, but each chop and knuckle taken to Yo's projectiles were dealing him damage right back. This training room was for supers after all... He was lucky his adrenaline was still rushing.
"I think it's safe to say, we should head to Brine's office."

"Ah! If only I had pushed a bit more..."
Yo grinned, sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. Following through wasn't her strong suit, it seemed. She needed to push herself more if she wanted to... if she wanted to be a great Hero. Yo inspected herself, her torn clothes and bloody wounds from Benkei's attacks. She saw his broken hand, too, and put a hand to her mouth.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I guess I got carried away. Yeah, let's get to Brine straight away."
She ducked her head lightly towards the boy, a mark of thanks and respect.
"I had a lot of fun. Thank you!"
