Umi stands at a daunting 6'6", weights over seven hundred pounds and wielding a fairly large frame. Her eyed are a deep sea blue, with a kind twinkle that shines through. Her features are petite, a small button nose, thin swept eyebrows and a thin mouth always cast into a smile. Umi's hair is a grey bob, with a whale-like fringe with swept fin-bangs and curls that frame her face. At the back, Umi's fair is long and transitions from grey into an ocean-like blue. Umi has a long whale tale, about three feet in length, that she can move about as she pleases - it is sturdy and tougher than her normal limbs!
Civilian Clothes
Umi likes big, comfortable clothes that don't hug her figure and give her room to breath. She wears glasses as well, as her eyesight isn't that good!
Hero Outfit
Blue's Hero suit is a simple wetsuit, a light grey in colour and with a utility belt around her waist that is full of standard Hero items; first aid kits, flares, a satellite phone and emergency heat blankets. She also has compact inflatables for ocean rescue!

Umi is a kind and generous person. She loves the ocean, and is a fervent environmentalist, taking after her parents in doing what she can to help the seas and all the creatures within. Umi finds it easy to make friends, being incredibly sweet and sisterly to those close to her. She will go out of her way to help a stranger in need, even if it is a detriment to herself.
Umi is smart, a girl who studies hard and gets good grades. She likes to be on time, do extra curriculum work around her school and is naturally smart! Umi is a gifted intellect, intelligent and perceptive as well as being keenly empathetic towards others
Umi is super conscious of her weight and size. She hates that she is cumbersome and can easily break normal chairs, smash doorframes and knock things over with her tail. Because of this, Umi tries to be as cautious as possible, something which leaks into her battle style. She holds back until she can see the full picture, not rushing into a fight - unless there are people who need saving!
Umi loves music, eating (sustainable seafood is her favourite) and making friends! She loves to explore, and swimming is her favourite hobby. Umi also loves to sleep!

History
Shiroiruka and Shachi met during a trial thst involves the sinking of a Japanese whaling boat off the coast of Japan. At the time, whaling was still at large, and oceans around the country were not protected. As a whale-themed mutant, Shachi has taken this to heart, joined an Environmental activist group and taken to the seas. At first it had been peaceful, but it ended in the destruction of a whaling vessel at Shachi's hands.
Shiroiruka was a criminal defence lawyer who took on the man's case. Having similar quirks made the whole thing seem like fate, and they fell for each other very fast. Shiroiruka was an incredible lawyer and it didn't take long until they had won the case and sparked a huge turn-around for Environmental protection in the country. Other heroes and civilians joined the cause, which Shiroiruka left criminal defence to bolster as an environmental lawyer while Shachi continued his efforts to stop anyone trying to harm nature!
Soon, the two of them were married, and a child greeted them not long after. A girl, Umi, who inherented her mother's quirk and keen mind as well as her father's tenacity and love for the environment. She soon grew as big as her mother, with a heart to match, and towered over both her father and other kids her age. Umi struggled a lot with being bullied for her size, but through constant bolstering by her mother learnt to turn the other cheek.
Umi grew into a loving and kind girl, someone nobody could bear to make fun of. She would simply be more kind to anyone who did until they gave in to her relentless niceness! Umi showed a proficiency with her quirk as well, and was on a good route to pass her exams and enter a hero course. She chose U.A., because of the hero Giga Bite who was like her, large and strong but kind.
Umi studied hard, and it came easy to her. She got excellent grades and references from her school, and was offered a space to enter the U.A. entrance exam! Thrilled at the opportunity, Umi was ready to enforce her hero skills and become a well-known hero working for the environment!

Umi has all the powers of a whale! She can do everything a whale can do, and more! Her body is incredibly heavy, making her very difficult to move, and her weight means that she packs a powerful punch! Under her skin is a thick layer of blubber which both keeps her warm and gives her some natural armour to resist physical attacks. Umi can spray water from her spout, and is more home submerged than on dry land - she can reach speeds of up to 50kph when swimming! Umi sports a whale's tale, the main part of her underwater speed, but which can also be used as a weapon to smash and bludgeon! Finally, Umi has echolocation, which works best underwater but cam still be utilised on land. It can map out an area of five hundred feet around her, and also be concentrated in a sonic blast that can paralyse anyone within ten feet of her - including herself- for a few seconds!

Water Spout
Umi can blast a pressurised spray of water from her blowhole! It is powerful enough to blast enemies away, but using it too often will dehydrate her!
Lobtail
Umi spins around and smashes her tail into something in her path. It is strong enough to smash through walls!
Sonar Wail
A close-area move, Umi releases a loud and concentrated sonar screech that can paralyse those around her for a few seconds! Unfortunately, it also paralyses her!
Drawbacks
Umi is slow on land, her body heavy and cumbersome. Her skin can dry out easily, especially when faced with fire or heat-based quirks, or in humid conditions! Her weight and size means that normal activities aren't easy, like walking up stairs, going through doorways and sitting on chairs. She requires a lot of food to sustain herself, and can eat a huge amount of calories in a single sitting and still want more. Additionally, sound-based quirks are a problem, as loud noise can stop her in her tracks for a few moments - including her own Sonar Wail!

Her durable blubber body can resist physical blows much more effective than other Quirk users, so she puts herself on the front lines to absorb damage and protect her allies!
