Nudge was born and raised in Tarry Town, a natural fortress which was free from a lot of strife that the rest of Hyrule faced. Where other towns and settlements were targeted by bandits and monsters, Tarry Town was a place of peace, a trading hub in the wild lands of the Kingdom. Many people said it was the safest place in Hyrule.

 Nudge said it was the most boring.  

She spent her young years trying to find excitement. Nudge would climb up and down the natural pillar that balanced Tarry Town on top, much to the worry of her parents, and when that was off limits would climb the houses and trees. Her father decided to buy her a bow, just to keep her safe.   

Nudge practised every day. She became a great shot at a young age, but there was still something missing. Beyond Tarry Town was a grand horizon, which Nudge had seen burn brightly twice a day, every day, for twelve years. It was time for a change.  

So when a merchant passed by with word of an Academy, Nudge was thoroughly excited. She pleaded and pleaded and begged and begged, and eventually her parents agreed to send her.  

Nudge packed her bow and boomerang, and set off. The Academy lay before her, promising new adventures, people, things! The horizon lay before her, and beyond, infinite possibilities.

Nudge wishes to escape a life with limited horizons. Beyond the boundaries of her village lies new things to discover, new people to meet and new places to see. Nudge coerced her way into the Thor's Military Academy in order to gain the skills to find them all!

Nudge comes across as a sassy, sarcastic miscreant, lazy and out for herself. But beneath the surface lies a creature of focus and skill, who strives for the best and does everything she can to get a job done. She is inquisitive and brave, never balking from danger and always first into a new place.

Nudge has a keen eye, a sharp tongue and a fast mind. She can scope out a situation and figure out a plan, which she is able to change to adapt to sudden changes on a whim. Nudge is a good person to have on side, and a dangerous enemy to face.

She is easy going and laid back, and able to get along with anyone. Nudge can, however, rub people up the wrong way, and is difficult to deal with when rules and orders come her way. Still, she would do anything for those she holds respect for.

Nudge's bow is crafted from the finest wood Hyrule has to offer, made by one of the most skilled bowyer that she found passing through Tarry Town. She keeps it in peak condition, checking and cleaning it every day.

A hilt with three blades sprouting from it. When thrown, it flies in a curved trajectory to always return to the point that it was thrown from. It can also be used as a short-sword or dagger.

Nudge is a skilled archer, already well versed with bow and arrow when she entered Thor's Military Academy. She can hit a moving target at fifty feet, and perform many trick shots.

Nudge is also skilled in using her tri-boomerang, in both close combat and using it for long range attacks. Unless disrupted on its journey, the boomerang will always return to the spot where Nudge wants it to arrive, allowing her to throw, move and catch it at a different spot.

Nudge is a nimble climber, a swift runner and a far leaper. Growing up in the rocky part of Hyrule where Tarry Town was born gave her the skills to clamber up high cliffs, traverse rough terrain and find high points where she can survey the world below when waiting for an enemy.

The Academy rose before her, like a monolith of possibilities. Nudge grinned, shouldering her light bag of items on one side and her bow on the other. It was a fresh start, as if her life was just beginning. She glanced around at the others who had travelled with her too, other prospective students. Nudge knew them all by name by now, even going so far, but her focus had always been on reaching the Academy.

She whispered this to herself as others pushed forward. Nudge took a deep breath, eyes closed, preparing herself.

With conviction in her step, Nudge began the final steps towards her future. It was bright, and exciting. Time to discover the world beyond her home!
