Giving Gwen a double thumbs-up with his upper pair of arms, Ben was just about to move onward before he seemed to halt for a bit. Things were real quiet in here, now that he actually TRIED to be serious and take note of his surroundings. And it was dark... he'd squint his eyes, but it was too late, as the shadows around them suddenly erupted into large dark hands, aiming to snare and catch them. Gwen was quick, and Ben was not too far behind. A pair of his arms were snared by the shadow hands, but he'd do his best to use his remaining pair to punch and/or pull them off of him, struggling against them and trying to get some wiggle room to leap out.
"Don't get too friendly there, dapper guy! You ain't supposed to be here either!"
He'd growl slightly at Shade. Doing his best to back up, he tried surveying the situation. But he was stuck as Four-Arms for a bit longer! What could he do with this big strength-based form? These things looked rather firm... he had been able to punch some of them. Could he...? Was worth a shot.
"COVER YOUR EARS GHOST-SPIDER!"
Then he'd bring all four arms up and spread 'em wide, before he'd firmly slam his palms together for an immense thunderclap, aiming to use the sonic shockwaves to disperse the shadows and make things easier for Gwen.

"Ah yes, how witty," The Shade said, raising his cane, a wall of darkness shot out from the ground, swallowing the blobs of webbing. "But I'm nothing like dear Charles, he was a very different man, to fond of bright colours, and gaudy patterns for my liking. But to each their own, and he was a very nice conversationalist." The blobs of webbing appeared out of another patch of darkness, but with the aim now being to hit Ben instead, threatening to plaster him in spiderwebs. Richard could not aim with the same accuracy as Gwen, but... it was a big target.
"Oh my, do be careful, my boy." The Shade watched as several of his shadows were destroyed by the sonic attack, sliding to the side. He'd need to keep that in mind, but it was... resourceful. "Several of these objects are many millions of years old, how would it look if you accidentally damaged a priceless dinosaur?" He gestured with his cane towards the massive T-Rex skeleton towering over him. "I daresay they would not approve..." The Shade paused, and his slight smile shifted into more of a grin, he just got an idea.

"GHAH! What the-!?"
Ben had used a lot of bodily power with that thunderclap of his, that he was a bit slow on reacting to the webs that now suddenly shot out of the shadows around him, as they glooped up his upper pair of arms and tied them together in front of him, leaving him with just his lower pair free and available. He'd struggle and strain against them, while glaring over at the Shade with stubborn teenage contempt.
"If-... ngh! It means taking you down and bring you to- ggh! Justice? That's fine by me! It's not like their history will be permanently erased anyway!"
He argues back at the villain, the webs starting to strain and tear slightly from his superhuman strength. Just a bit more...

"Ah, shoot! Sorry, big Red!"
Gwen removed her hands from her ears. Their attacks hadn't done anything to this old-timey gentle criminal, instead mostly hindering their own efforts. She wondered about how much easier it would be if she was still riding solo. Big Red and the others were good company, at least, but having her own powers used against her allies felt bad.
She clung to one of the walls, then leapt into the air. Gwen had to give Ben an opportunity to get a hit in, but her webs could easily be used against her. He could break free of them soon enough, but in the meantime she landed close to the Shade. Using her enhanced Spidey-speed, Gwen closed the distance, swinging out a flurry of kicks at her opponent, punctuation each one with parts of a snarky quip she came up with on the fly.
"The - only - million - year - old - dinosaur - here - is - you!"
Oh yeah, Gwen Stacy. You've still got this.

Robot's body froze, like one going into rigor mortis. His head seized, turning his entire body to look ahead, in the direction of that thunderous sound. There was no mistaking that noise. Four-Arm's thunderclap was a well-documented phenomenon from Ben 10's experiences prior to joining the team. That could only mean one thing.
"They've engaged the enemy!" If Ben 10 had opted for such a maneuver, then it had to mean that stealth was no longer an option. Robot put his hydraulics into full speed, sprinting down the museum corridors like a human-shaped automobile. One could only hope that Livewire would be able to keep up.

"What is this... it reminds me of that one game I played..." Livewire said observing the lingering darkness, but was interrupted by the sound of a loud clap. As Robot took off running, Leslie tapped a nearby outlet and felt the layout of the museum through its wiring. Guess work, but she figured that one of the biggest rooms in this joint fit the bill. In a flash she dematerialized into a light socket, speeding to the source of the sound faster than the little robot that could. She briefly lit up a few sockets before arcing out into the room. "Surprise mothertruckers!" Leslie said with a grin as she stepped out into the open.
However as her teammates were engaged in 'battle' she got a good look at the guy, a dapper gentlemen with black sunglasses before letting out a snort. "This is the guy? I was expecting a cliché burglar, not a Tim Burton character." She giggled a bit, trying to draw attention to herself by simply being her normal obnoxious self. "So... What's his gimmick? Kinda has an old timey but emo vibe." Livewire asked, not wanting to haphazardly hit someone on her team.

Claire squinted down into the darkness as things started to throw down below. "Damn." She sighed before cutting off her little lamp light and jumping straight down into the museum now open skylight, flicking out a jet of fire from her hands to slow herself, but she was ready to scorch or corral whoever was engaging Ben 10 and Ghost Spider. She pushed out a fire towards their foe to illuminate the room better before tilting her head. Someone familiar... or at least through rumor and heresay. Black glasses, fancy outfit, dapper gentlemen aesthetic? "Shades? Never thought I'd cross paths with you outside of competing for contracts or stuff to steal. What's your angle here?"

"Spoken by rash youth," The Shade scoffed at Ben's words, but he did not get further before Gwen engaged him in close-quarters combat.
He waved the cane, summoning darkness to protect himself against her assault. He did do remarkably well, even if he did not possess her speed; still, at her last quip, a punch did go through, sending the Shade backwards, but he quickly vanished into a shadow... like a rock falling into a pond. "A nice hit, well done," He said, appearing again from the other side of the T-Rex. Once more, he was stopped from saying more by the timely arrival of Livevire, followed quickly by Volcana from the ceiling.
It looked like most of the cast had arrived.
It was time to take this up a notch.
"Ah yes, that would be your cavalry; I seem to be at a terrible disadvantage. And as much as I would love to play all evening, I have a job to finish. But- I'll be sure to give you children something to play with" As he spoke, The Shade raised the cane... and a purple/black light began to shine from the eyesocket of the T-Rex; everyone might not notice it, but what followed would be impossible to miss. The great dinosaur leapt from its exhibit with an echoing roar enough to shake the glass, threatening to crash down onto Gwen before spinning around, swinging its massive tail aimed at any of the champions close enough to be hit.

"No freaking way!"
Gwen dove out of the way as the skeletal foot slammed down right where she had stood. She rose, and was instantly struck by the construct's tail, flinging her backwards across the museum. Ghost-Spider struck the wall, grunting in pain, and fell to the floor, just managing to land with a bit of dignity and a lot of pain.
"Ugh... what the heck?"
Gwen shook the daze from her brain, brushing off ancient dust from her suit. That dinosaur hadn't been cleaned for a while. She regained her composure, and flung herself into the air, swinging with webs above the biting range of the T-rex.
"Hey, Volcana! Can you light this place up? The less shadow this guy has, the less control he might have over this big lizard!"
She stuck to a wall to the side of the beast, looking around for Shade. He was the target... and they had to make sure he didn't escape. Still, that would be difficult if this skeleton was going to get in the way.
"Big Red! Push it back!"
Gwen leapt down, shooting out a multitude of webs across the back of its legs. If it was pushed backwards by, say, a big strong alien, then it could easily topple backwards. She stuck the ropes to the other wall, climbing deftly back upwards. Gwen was smart. She wasn't getting smacked about by that thing's tail for a second time.

Volcana's jaw hung open slightly as somehow Shade brought the T-rex to life with his powers. "He can do that?" She was a bit in disbelief when Gwen yelled out to her, snapping her out it. Her suggestion was great, putting on a light show, easy. "Heh... I like the way you think Spider!" Volcano turned in a luminous blazing being as she began to build up a vortex of flames around her in the air, slowly making it larger, but avoiding getting anywhere close to the sprinkler heads scattered about on the ceiling. This was more about light than heat, so these flames weren't that hot as she maintained several rings of fire swirling around her. But as for her concerns, water certainly wasn't her weakness but sparky had just shown up. Getting her wet would be a disaster.

Ben finally managed to tear himself out of Gwen's webbing that covered up his arms and spread 'em wide, flexing the muscles back into life after being trapped, even for a few moments. Damn, he had to give Gwen some credit; her webbing was tough stuff! As if rappelling him down on a thread wasn't evidence enough... regardless, there was more trouble now, as Shade had somehow animated an entire T-Rex skeleton back to life with his powers. Wasn't this guys deal just shadows?! There was not even a hint of necromancy! Or... maybe, it was the guy manipulating the skeleton's shadow? Either way, Gwen and Volcana both seemed to vibe with that idea, so he went with it too.
And upon hearing Gwen's orders, he'd just grin.
"You got it, Spidey!" was all he said before he'd bull rush the giant animated skeleton, a battle-cry erupting from his throat as he'd barrel straight into one of the giant undead dinosaur's legs and wrap all four of his arms around it, doing his utmost to hold it in place and even push it back.
"C'mon then, ya over-sized lizard! Let's see how much muscle those old bones got!" even if the skeleton literally had NO muscles at all, hopefully someone got the hint of what he was saying.

Robot, for all his calculated instincts and cutting-edge programming, had seemed to believe that rushing headlong into the fray was the ideal course of action for this scenario. It was for that reason that he suddenly found himself looking up and into the skeletal monstrosity that the Shade had unleashed. The tail moved out quickly, too quickly for Robot to respond. "Look o-" was all he could get out before the tail squarely caught him in the chest. Robot was sent flying back like a ragdoll before eventually finding a seat in one of the open trash bins nearby. He looked damaged, though more than that, he was not responsive. The team would need to make do.

Richard watched as the massive structure of bones began to fight the young heroes. "I see you've got this well in claw, your highness." He said, tipping his hat, "Now with your permission." The Shadow Demon quickly vanished into the darkness. He rematerialised again inside the museum basement archive. After adjusting his cravat and gloves, he began to make his way down the row of filing cabinets, humming on Scarborough Fair.
As the light spread around the room, the young might notice that there seemed to be a concentration of darkness inside the skeleton's chest area, like a swirling vortex inside the ribcage, with tendrils shooting out along the bones, down into the spine, and up into the skull. The great dinosaur let out another abyssal roar, causing the windows in the room to shake and dust to fall from the other displayed skeletons. It continued to rampage, attempting to stomp at Ben, only to be pushed backwards. It tripped over the strings created by Gwen and crashed into the nearest display, sending a family of tiny predatory dinosaurs flying in all directions. Still, the dinosaur remained on its feet and attempted to bite down on Ben with its massive jaws.

"Ah, shoot, that's no fair!"
Gwen watched as the Shade vanished into the shadows. So he could work even in bright lights such as Volcana? So unfair! Even worse, Robot was knocked aside by the t-rex's tail and didn't get back up. Darn! Darn darn darn!
"Big Red, Volcana! Take care of the dino! Sparky, can you find out where Ebenezer Scrooge went and pass it back to us?"
She swung across the room to check on Robot. Somehow, natural leadership was seeping through into her brain at that point. She propped their leader upright, checking his... vitals? Was there any damage to his suit?
"We need to find the shadow dude before he can escape... or worse, get what he came here for!"

Leslie looked a bit wide eyed as not only did this boomer emo make a freaking T-rex come to life with his powers, but Robot got wailed by its tail. "Oof. Uh... you good over there? Robot?" She called out, wincing at his general direction as he was laid out. But honestly the dinosaur and shadow guy were drawing her attention. Leslie was building up a bit of a charge into her hands to jump into the fight when the shady dandy man escaped. She ran over to where he disappeared, a bit confused until Gwen called out to her. "Yeah sure thing! I doubt he's gone very far!" She grinned before running towards and outlet on a nearby wall, flashing as her physical body ventured into the museum's power gird. "Where'd you go?" She muttered, methodically finding a way to poke her head into every single room, whether it be more outlets, lamps, cameras, speakers or even some display screens.
