Lucille idly watches the sights as they travel. The place is beautiful and peaceful, although she also spots the signs of relative normalcy as well. Shops, people going about their business, it reminded her of when she used to go into town with her... Father...
She looks down to the ground as she grows pensive. When Ignia checks in on her she responds. "I haven't been alright since the attack," She says honestly. "Now I'm in a new world and have a bunch of responsibility all the sudden. I don't feel ready for this..."

"Yeah, I thought as much." she sighs with realization. "The Heartless they...affect everyone. In one way or another, they strive to just drive a wedge between everyone and everything. Taking away things that are precious to us." She hangs onto those words as if there is an incoming story waiting to spill from her lips but she clams up. There's something there that wants to be told but something inside her refuses to let others know. "I...was forced into my current position and like Chirithy said, I had to adapt...I had to move forward and press onward. I wasn't ready but no one really is ever truly ready."
She exhales as her face is darkened by past memories swimming through her eyes. "Your responsibility is great, yes...but you need not shoulder it alone. You have me, you have Guardians to guide you like Rydia though some a far more harsher teacher than she, and most importantly...you have Cal." she remarks to which the Dream Eater yips and whimpers in response as it keeps comfortably close to Lucille. "And other Allies who you will get to meet eventually."
As they went on, they came to quieter side of town filled with rows and rows of houses. They were comfortably situated next to each other. And Ignia stopped before one looking sure of herself. "Each home is much bigger on the inside than the outside and is different from person to person." She holds out her hand and the Keyblade she had dismissed earlier suddenly appeared in her grasp with a flash of light. "Books...farm...magic...mmmm I think I have the perfect home for you." She held up her weapon and pointed it right at the door of the unoccupied abode. Once more, a beam fired for its tip but when it hit the door, it began to change and reshape into a rather fanciful green one with gold filigree. Now that Lucille could see, each home's doors looked completely customized and different.
The Keyblade was then dismissed the same as last time as Ignia gestured to the door. "Why don't you step inside and see for yourself."

"I'm... Sorry to hear that," Lucille responds sympathetically. At least she's not the only person who's lost everything. Her reassurance that the journey would not be made alone also helped lift her spirits a bit, though the mention of Cal once again gave her mixed emotions. She wasn't sure why she was so torn about Cal, but she decides it's probably just a lack of sleep and the shock of it all. As they enter the neighborhood of housing rows the mention of them being bigger on the inside made Lucille cock an eyebrow curiously. She supposed there are weirder things for magic to do. When Ignia casts some kind of magic on the door it changes to something different, causing Lucille's eyes to widen. The homes are custom? Wait, she's getting an entire house to herself?
She wordlessly approaches the door and opens it, her curiosity getting the better of her.

The moment she opens the door, she is greeted with a musty yet welcoming scent of old parchment. Before her laid an entryway stylized in a whimsical archway that opened up into a kitchen. The floor was polished wood and the countertops marble. The stovetop felt magical like a simple touch would bring it to life, not to mention it looked old-fashioned. Various knick-knacks were placed on the countertops and the dining table situated in a breakfast nook. Cozy pictures lined some of the walls of generic things such as Scala Ad Caelum's horizon, a countryside full of golden field of wheat, a distinguished picture of Master Ignia, and a few small abstract pieces. A few doors existed as the kitchen opened up into a hallway. They were clearly marked as bathroom and storage and a quick peek inside the bathroom would reveal a large porcelain tub the size of queen-sized bed to just relax in alongside a variety of crisp and clean blue lighting fixtures that hung from the ceiling. The storage room house many chests and boxes with which to store things. There was no floorboards creaking as the tour went on. But the creme de la creme sat at the end of the hallway which opened up into a bedroom mixed with a study...with two levels to it. A large window displayed the current foliage that could be seen outside and above it, an even larger window. On the ground floor was a large queen-sized bed the size of her bathtub that looked like marshmallow in texture which exemplified comfort. Various plant decorated the windowsill. But what likely caught Lucille's eyes were the rows of books that not only lined the walls. On each side near the entryway of this room were twin spiral staircases that led to an upper level also filled to the walls with various books. Above, strand of lights shaped like stars that gave the room a mystical sort of lighting. All in all, a cozy if not expansive abode that would even have a hatch leading to the basement. "Well?" asked Ignia who leaned against the doorway. "What do you think?"

Lucille walks in to the abode with wide eyes. The pleasant scents and gorgeous sights extend into every room. It seemed like a dream home, with a spacious bathroom and decked out kitchen. The best part though was certainly her bedroom, which seemed to basically double as a study. The windows to the natural beauty outside accentuated the earth-toned room as she takes in book after book on shelves all around. She knew these were all probably books she's never read before too. She simply stares in awe as she barely registers Ignia's voice.
Finally she remembers that Ignia asked her a question and she responds. "It's..." She turns to look at Ignia with an oddly concerned look. "Way too much for a teenager. I mean I love it but uhhh do I have to pay like rent on this, am I gonna be in debt or something? I'm not ready to get a job yet I mean I haven't even finished highschool..."

As if breaking a longtime silence, Ignia bursts out laughing. She holds her stomach. it was something she had been keeping back, locked away for who knows how long. "Oh my, heavens no! This is a gift. Gracious, if you had to shell out even one smidgen of Munny, I would have been on my sides here...ah...hahaha!" she had tears in her eyes she wiped away from laughing too much. They were from laughing too much, right? Right. Not at all Lucille managing to get one of the three rulers of a capital to laugh away the hurt that nearly crept into her head from earlier. Not at all.
"But no; this place is yours and yours alone. If you are ever looking to add on, I might be willing to do so in the future."
She walks over to Lucille and places both hands on her shoulders. "This place is yours. It is free to be decorated as you please with whatever things you discover in your future travels. Mementos. Things of this nature. Later, there'll be odd jobs you can undertake and earn a living for yourself. But for now? Now you can rest in a nice warm bed knowing that you are safe and there is nothing out to get you."
To punctuate this point, Calaguru yipped happily and belly-flopped onto the bed and bounced on it a few times before settling down and rolling off the foot of the bed where it laid peacefully with a silly pose.

Lucille blinks in surprise as Ignia bursts into uncontrollable laughter. Was... What she said that ridiculous? She supposed this world is different from her own so maybe these kind of customized houses are cheap... Or Ignia is just rich and wants to help, which is probably more likely. At Ignia's reassurances she chuckles nervously and rubs her wrist. "Oh it's already more than enough, I don't think I need anything added on," She says. "I'm overdue to finally get a nice long bath and then a good night's rest,"
One thing suddenly comes to mind as she leans in. "Though, if I could ask for one thing... Could you have someone go to my family's farm to get something for me? It's a picture frame with me and my parents in it, it should be in the upstairs hallway,"

Such a simple request for a meaningful thing. Ignia nods to the request. "That won't be a problem.I'll fetch it myself. In the meantime, you can get comfortable. There is food and drinks in the fridge though you might see brands you are unsure of that are native to the city. I assure you they are locally sourced." she coughs and clears her throat before backing out the door. She lingers for a little while longer to ensure Lucille would be comfortable here. A heavy feeling weighs down on her chest as she takes in the sight of the home she had given her. She is filled with an overwhelming feeling as she looks to the books, hoping they could provide some of the answers little Lucille sought. "I'll return ere long."
And then she was out the door, shutting it behind her.
The wind made the leaves on the trees outside rustle restlessly. The waters surrounding the city could be heard distantly lapping at the edges. The clamor of the city itself was quietly dying down amidst these calming sounds. The murmuring sounds of the windmills echoed far above. Nearby, there was the sound of a snoozing Cal. It stirred in its rest, kicking its hind legs and making light whimpering noises. It was all settling down. This was the one responsible for keeping her safe. What helped her drive off the creatures. She was in a new world. Magic was real. Monsters were real. And even more fantastical things than her imagination could possibly comprehend

An unknown amount of time laterLike someone hitting it with a stick, a rap came from the other side of the door into Lucille's new room. It would continue in the same, almost monotone fashion, until she opened it to find... a broom. It was holding what looked like a basket filled with refreshments, freshly baked buns, a jar filled with jam, fruits and other little goodies one might enjoy. As soon as the door opened, the broom would hold out the basket towards Lucille, creaking slightly as it shifted position. It did not say anything nor seemed capable of speech. There was no letter or other message inside the basket, and as soon as it was alleviated of its burden, the broom would turn on the spot and start walking back the way it must have come.

Lucille smiles to Ignia in thanks and then as they leave she sighs and looks around the room—HER room, now. Today has been... Interesting. She decides to go take that bath, she was absolutely filthy from her week living out of the house.
After that she would settle into her bed and grab a book that seemed to have info on the 'Heartless' Ignia spoke of. As soon as she opened the covers she would recognize their appearance from the pictures, and she couldn't stop herself from narrowing her eyes. As she read about what they did to people and their Hearts it made her loss sting even more, knowing that her parents didn't even go to any kind of afterlife and are instead locked in some dark void. It made her wonder if it's even possible to save them, or at least make them move on...
She would be drawn from her musings when she'd hear tapping on her door. With a cocked eyebrow she would put a bookmark in and walk over to the door. When she opens it she finds... A broom? An animated one. Well she supposed in a place as magical as this it isn't THAT strange. It was holding some kind of gift basket and Lucille had to admit the things inside of it looked absolutely amazing. She had been subsisting on berries and the occasional roasted squirrel she managed to nab with her pitchfork all this time, so some actual food is extremely welcome. She gingerly accepts the gift basket and tries to look for some kind of note to no avail. Then the broom just turns and leaves, causing her to blink as she watches it exit. How strange. Was this a gift from Ignia or someone else? Maybe Rydia since they mentioned they can summon things? Hmm.
She would settle the basket in the kitchen and grab a plate as she prepares an actual meal for the first time in a while. After that she'd settle back in her bed and likely fall asleep after studying the book for another hour or so. She still had a long way to go before she could be truly comfortable... But it's a start.
