Opening up the Tome you find that the book is rather strangely made with the Index at the beginning. While it does seem backwards, it helps with finding the creatures and "Besties" that you are curious about. The owner of the Book tells to you be careful with it, as it's a limited and rare misprint that would cost a fortune. It's best to find what you are looking for and place the book back.....[/i]

Species: This is the name of your species. Sub-species are also noted here with a ; after the main species' name. Sub-species should be different enough that they can't be mistaken for another sub-species.
Native: This is where the monster is generally a common sight in terms of monsters to. I don't expect to find a Dire Bear in the middle of a Desert, nor should I unless it's a sub-species.
Encounter Rarity: This is how common the monster is encountered in it's natural habitat These Encounters are based on a level of 1 to 6, and are based upon human sightings rather than actual population numbers.
Social Nature: This is the common Monster's social approach to others monsters, animals, or even humans. Whether Solitary, having Pairs for life, Pack, Herds, Colonies, Tribes, or even being Parasitic. If there is a notable trait as to the nature of how they act around others or even individual species, note it here.
Description: This is where you write down the average features of most of your species. Sub-species should hold most appearances with key distinctive features or traits making them identifiable. Maybe a Desert Dire Bear is hairless, or has very short fine fur. Something that distinguishes them.
Behavior and Tactics: List off notable behavior that the monster displays. Maybe they are passive until threatened, or tamed. Perhaps they use specialized tactics in groups or alone to weaken or attack their enemies. If it's a common trait for that species, include it.
Weaknesses: List off the general weaknesses that this monster tends to display. Perhaps a well placed blow can cripple them, or they are deadly allergic to a certain object/mineral. Perhaps they are light sensitive. This is where you can list off common weaknesses that this species are known for.
