On an off-side street in the Seaside district a bit of commotion picked up around a certain shop. Masked man pointed knifes and bats at a tender old man who stood in front of his wife to defend. He was clearly the shop owner, and lived right over head of his trinket shop. Regardless, there were dues that needed to be paid. Behind the crowd of masked yakuza, were two unmasked women. They simply watched as the scene played out. "Pay up old man. If we're being honest, you're two months behind. " "Listen, business has been slow. I've always been good on my payments, can't you let us pay you back on a later date?" He pleaded. His wife behind him attempted to flee, but was immediately snatched up by another yakuza member with a small automatic weapon in his coat. -"Running is the last thing you wanna do, lady." He find a weak punch knocking against his masked as the woman's husband attempted to play hero. In response the masked men no longer found it okay to take things so lightly. "Striking a member, means you're forfeiting protection... you know that right?" The yakuza-man asked. The others would stow away their knives and bats, and pull out small pistols and similar small auto-weapons.

"Heads up, Alpha Zero. Might wanna head east, looks like a situation on the neighboring street."
Yukari Tachibana tilted her head at the sudden communication from her teammate at their HQ, the surveillance specialist and infamous hacker, Antinomy. That girl wasn't ever really one to enjoy conversations, so anything she brought up when Yukari was on an everyday patrol was typically all business. The hero Architect liked it that way — direct, simple, and to-the-point. There wasn't more that needed to be said. "Copy that, keep on overwatch." In the current circumstances, she had been snacking on a taiyaki she had purchased from a street vendor, so the girl popped the rest in her mouth and grinned, extending a hand to her motorcycle propped up next to her, and got to work.
Her quirk, Reconfigure. A mechanical marvel combined with the insatiable genius of the hyper-energetic hero, it served as both offense, defense, and on-field adaptation. Her signature hero outfit was the product of her quirk, transforming her motorcycle's materials into a mobile exo-suit for combat. The process didn't take long, having done it countless times, but when she was ready, Architect gave a light jet-powered hop, vaulting over the building she was next to and heading down the alley.
Turning her head down the neighboring street to locate the disturbance that Antimony had alerted her to, she grinned and casually strolled a short distance up behind the group. "I don't recall hiring anyone like you guys for protection in MY territory," Architect announced, wrapping her arms around both supervising women behind the group of yakuza in a wide hug, with a too-friendly smile on her face. "Doesn't sound like the kind of field we have openings for, but surely if you're in need of work, there's a good place I can find for you~" The dangerous glint in her blood red eyes would be very clear to anyone with even a modicum of combat experience.

The younger of the two women flinched. "Cousin Kanamori, she's touching us." The other would softly exhale cigarette smoke, not even bothering to look at who had just arrived. "That she is, Choyoko... that she is." Both could tell who it was by the voice alone. Niether seemed scared. Rather one was just sheepish by nature, the other seemed a bit more preoccupied with her men. They all turned and slowly pointed their weapons at the incoming hero. "I don't recall saying you boys could stop. Carry on." Kanamori's eyes seemed to strike just a tiny bit more fear in them than Architect could. Two of the masked men, would seperate the couple and start by roughing up the old man, kicking him to the floor and waving guns in his face until he finally pointed them to a fine china bowl where the emergency fund was. Many of the masked men kept roughing the man up and making his wife watch. The stragglers of the group seemed to be caving from Architects pressure and made a run for it. "If you run, I'll get mad!" Choyokiu puffed her cheeks up. The men froze in their tracks, unsure whether to deal with the rather of their bosses or Architect. In that short distance, one could be heard weeping already. Kanamori- "I'd appreciate it if you just let us go business as usual. I can pay a handsome price if need be. Just look the other way, and we'll just scurry away to the cracks of the city like roaches when the lights come on." She'd drop her cigarette, and stomp it out. The younger cousin, Choyoku would softly try to remove herself from the hero's hug. Choyoku chimed in along with her cousin, mirroriing the same sentiment. "Yeah, we don't mean any harm. They just owe us, no big deal. Business per usual." Both were surprisingly peaceful about this. Generally villains would panic and started trying to fight immediately. These two seemed different. It was like they were in the office, and someone unwelcomed walked in. They just aimed to softly remove themselves rather than to start out overly hostile. These two women had a familair aura to them, perhaps a hint of strive. The dark hair and light eyes definitely being an indicator, but Architect's eye in the sky could likely find a facial regonition, whereas most heroes would be completely in the dark. _________________NPC Reveal Legal Name:Choyoku Yuruginai Alias: Quirk Name: Rubberband Picture: Notable Achievements: -Strive's missing sister -Former Member of the Resolutes Hero Family -Not entirely known when she resurfaced, but currently a Yakuza Elite -Besides being a missing person, there aren't any known crimes Legal Name: Kanamori Yuruginai Alias: Quirk Name: Deadstop Picture: Notable Achievements: -Daughter of deceased ex hero Finite or rather the daughter of Termination, who turned coat against his Resolute Hero family. -Has faced Irongate facility and Tartarus once due to passed crimes and investigations, majority of them related to racketeering, some murder. -Yakuza Elite

Architect let out a sigh as Kanamori directed the thugs to continue. One of the women appeared to be uncomfortable with the physical contact, so she gave the both of them a brief and light squeeze before letting go and making her way towards the mob, making a brief detour to 'coerce' the man holding the shopkeeper's wife hostage to let go by almost crushing his wrist, not to the point of breaking anything, but enough to force his grip to loosen. "I see." Brusquely pushing her towards the shop and gesturing for her to move to the door, she muscled the other yakuza out of the way of the beaten-up shopkeeper, helping him to his feet and casually wrapping an arm around him. Contrary to before, the old man would be able to sense the gentle and tender grip she had him in despite the armor, her arm cradled around his chest in more of a protective motion as she guided him back to the yakuza women in charge. The look in her eyes made it apparently only to her remote coworker that she had received the information regarding the identities of the two apparent ringleaders in charge — something to keep in mind, but not necessary to use in this immediate moment.
"Unfortunately, there are rules that you're gonna have to follow in order to live peacefully around here. Financial issues aren't my bucket of responsibility. But this?" She asked bluntly, gesturing to the shopkeeper and his injuries, and then to the weapons the mobsters were holding. "Assault and battery, possession of illegal firearms? Probably a bunch of other issues too, but that's beside the point. You see, we don't do that here. You have problems, you do them the right way." As if to demonstrate her own words, Architect, a hero renowned for her battle prowess and eagerness to fight, took the yakuza mobsters' willingness to negotiate at face value... at least for now. "So, if you say it's just 'business as usual', would you care to enlighten me on exactly what this business might be about?" The hero had a dangerous gleam in her eyes as usual, but her attention had shifted from the women to the shopkeeper she was holding. "And I want both stories. You first," she ordered, firmly but in a slightly more gentle tone with the older man.

The goons made room for Architect, almost reflexively, especially after one of them was taken down with a single grip of the wrist. Kanamori softly shook her head. She wished things were like in the olden days, but they did the job majority of the time. A 90% was still an A... Anywho... The man whimpered as he was held gently and led toward the two women. He was sure to avoid eye contact. Architect seemed to push it out of him.
Stammering, he-"Well, I-I, y y y you s s see. I needed a car a-a-and..." He was a bit to slow to get it out. Both women quickly grew impatient. This man knew what he was getting into when working with the yakuza. "Things... kind of spiraled out of control. These payments are killing my business, and we barely have enough to eat!"
Kanomori " Well get a load of this guy... He treated us like the bank and and asked for loans... WELP, the sharks are out. Pay up or get bitten. Your car... that shitty leaky roof we fixed. "
Choyoku "We've spotted your light bill for this raggedy shop for 2 months now."
Kanamori, in a more aggressive tone. "Let's not forget our usual protection fee, we threw those high school boys in the river for stealing from you and they never bothered you again. "
Choyoku chuckled, waiving bank notes in front of his face. "Not to mention your tried to gamble your way out of debt and tripled it. That's the real reason we're here. He went from a reasonable 100k in debt to 300k. That means monthly payments have gone up, and he HAS to pay SOMETHING by the end of today, orrrrrrr both the car and shop is ours in a few months!"
The old men tried hiding behind Architect. "I'll pay I swear!"
"You said that last month, unless the nice lady here is gonna pay FOR you." Kanamori eyed Architect. Pro heroes made plenty money. 300k was probably chump change. Legally speaking they had the man in a complete chokehold. They could assume his asset if he couldn't pay. Ideally this shop would be owned and sold by them if this shopkeeper kept running late or missing payment. They were going to swallow him whole and spit him out. A envelope would get tossed to her from one of the lackies. Flicking her thumb over the bills, she counted almost as quickly as a bank teller's counter machine. "20 k... we still need 10 more bucko. The agreement was 30k for 10 months and you'll be out of this debt within the year. Think about it this way. Pay and we go away, or don't pay and you lose everything. Don't make us do an audit. We're QUITE thorough."
A rock and hard place for the shopkeeper and his wife. Legally it was a work of art to prey on the less fortunate like this, but it was outrageously hostile. In a way, being hostile for payments was the nicer thing to do. It at least gave him a chance to save himself from them destroying him completely. (Though they were going to do that anyway)
