it seemed like it was working, somewhat. Grundy was annoyed still, but being... reasonable she guessed. she didn't care about the diamond, he could steal that for all she cared but she had to get Grundy under control and detained by any means neccessary.
which was going to be much more difficult now that the alarms were triggered. he music couldn't override the annoyingly loud noises that were currently blairing and her instincts were starting to kick in though... she still couldn't leave her partner in the dust like that. at the moment, she simply just hid in the shadows as Yankee moved to action. she had to get ahold of herself, she wasn't here stealing anything right now, as much as she wanted to be doing so she was... playing hero, if even forcibly. still, there were no ways to turn off the noises that were saturating the place. maybe grundy had the right mind here

As Grundy went to get the diamond and then leave, the zappy boy climbed up his back and put his hands on each side of Grundy's head, attempting to fry his brain. A solid plan that would stop or potentially kill, most villains in Gotham. Unfortunately though, Grundy wasn't most villains.
He roared in pain and fell to his knees at first as the electricity coursed through his head. "Grun..dy... KILL!", he roared, clapping his hands together in the rough location where Elijah's head would be, with enough force to most likely smash Elijah's head like a watermelon if he connected. His body had adapted to the electricity after the first attack and had it been Elijah's opening move it might have worked. Instead, Grundy fell to the ground, his body smoking from the sheer power of the electricity. He groaned in pain and just moments later he pushed himself back up to a sitting position. The attack had had an effect, and it -hurt-, but Grundy wasn't one of Gotham's toughest without a reason.
In a way, Elijah's plan had worked. Grundy was never a genius and after that attack he was certainly dumber, but making him dumber was making him more dangerous. Letting out an eardrum-shattering roar, Grundy flew into a frenzy, swinging his fists with enough strength to potentially shatter bones, and grabbing anything that wasn't nailed down and throwing it at both the heroes. Only one thought was in his head now: -KILL-. The blaring of the alarm only further annoyed him and it was no doubt that if the collateral damage he was causing wasn't stopped soon, he'd pulverize the entire building in his blind rage.
His body had gone into fight-or-flight mode, and Grundy was choosing to fight, something he was very good at.

A critical sense of danger flashed through Elijah when Grundy still managed to roar despite his Executioner's Circuit. After Grundy fell to his knees, Elijah immediately let go of Grundy's head and ducked low, evading the clap aimed for his head, the shockwave sending shivers down his spine. Even with his durability, Elijah was unsure how much damage he would take if that connected, and was not keen on finding out.
However, when Grundy entered his frenzy, Elijah was soon struck in the side by one of Grundy's fists, his eyes widening as he felt his ribs crack from the impact. Elijah felt his feet lift off the ground as the fist launched him across the lobby of the museum, crashing into one of the glass cultural display cases.
""Belle Reve, you...ow, fuck...you might want to hold off on the Iron Maiden," groaned Elijah into his earpiece, spitting out some blood after his impact. This wasn't going well; from his estimates, Elijah would have to pump Grundy with a lot more electricity to down him, and Grundy in his rage was in no condition to stay still for the electrocution.
Elijah got back onto his feet as fast as he could and ran over to an exposed electrical outlet, slamming his palm against the outlet once he reached it. The lights in the museum flickered for a moment before going out, as Elijah drained the building of her electricity. However, he'd still need a few more moments to completely drain the building, crouching by the outlet as he watched Grundy throw pieces of the museum around in his frenzy.
