Orant's Peaks is a place typically known for its sparse vegetation and sheer cliffs, but there are parts of the foothills that border the Duskfall Grove and as such have a bit more foliage than most of the region. This is where Eighty-Seven happens to find himself in this late afternoon. Sunlight bears down on them as the trees are not plentiful enough to provide a proper canopy, and the sounds of birds chirping and other critters around almost makes it feel like this place isn't a complete hellscape full of monsters.
"Look I'm just wondering how the heck these kobolds are managing to steal stuff from our scouts in the first place. Like aren't they supposed to be super perceptive since it's literally their job?" A young male voice from behind him says. This voice belongs to a boy named Anthony Clark, a young person with a lot to prove, and also a new Hunter like Eighty-Seven. He's very talkative.
"Uh huh," A more gruff voice responds, clearly disinterested. This is Marcus Freidman, a quiet fellow who has spoken almost exclusively in one or two word responses throughout their whole trek here. He seems to be a hard worker, and has kept a sharp eye out and sniped multiple monsters that approached the party with Dragonrend.
"Maybe it's just because they're stealing less important things like rope and rations than our Hunter weapons?" Anthony posits.
"Maybe," Marcus responds, still seeming to barely be listening to the kid.
((A new bestiary entry for Kobolds has been added, it is recommended to study your prey.))
