Powers/Abilities:
Energy Parasite: Rudy's namesake comes from his aberrant ability to siphon energy. Its eyes are drawn to sources of energy and his grasp slowly drains anything it touches with any form of latent power dry, often killing or destroying it in the process. Its entire body is capable to absorb incoming energy that would damage it, instead emboldening the beast. This power is unconscious, Rudy has no control of it, and thus cannot touch living objects without cruelly killing them.
Energy Synthetization: The Parasite does not waste the energy it woefully takes for itself. It can use it to change its form or grow its mass.
Essence Duplication: When the Parasite drains a living being, it takes everything from it, including its knowledge, its memories, its powers, and even its vulnerabilities. These additional traits fade over time, even though the energy remains. The Parasite can also synthesize these powers, manifesting them in different ways than their original owners
Monstrous Constitution: The circumstances of its creation and its struggles against some of Earth's Mightiest have caused the Parasite to be incredibly hardy and powerful. It can sprint or leap through bounds in an instant and tear through metal like paper, and can take punishment as eagerly as it can dish it out.

Physical Appearance:
The Parasite is a wiry, terrifying shell of a man, with pale purple muscles an eerily long arms to grasp onto his meals with large, three-fingered hands. His height is volatile, though it stays around 1,86 meters even in its perpetual slouch, with its bottom-heavy fangs protruding from an enlogated, seldom used maw, staring down with small, black eyes behind saggy, hollow sockets.
Clothing and Armor:
A.R.G.U.S. isn't spending budget on this
Personality
Sexual Orientation:
Straight
General Personality:
Rudy Jones was once a humble, uncomplicated man, which is why the prospect of him becoming the Parasite, a callous, and at times sadistic creature focused only on predation and growth, is so terrifying. After many trials and tribulations, he has gained some semblance of control over his psyche, but still lives trapped inside of an engine of unearthly urges that wishes only to consume, stirred and harassed by distant memories of long-lost victims of its grasp. There is in there somewhere, a man that would put others above himself at all times, and that would give it all to those whom he holds dear, but it is oh so difficult when you cannot hold that which is dear.

History:
A remarkable man with an unremarkable occupation, Rudolph Jones wanted nothing more than to settle down and come back to a family after fighting for the US governement in the incursions to Iraq. A janitorial job doesn't sound like it serves a family of three, but STAR Labs has reasons to scrutinize even the service staff, and pays well for the discretion of their research into metahuman developments. This went all well and good for Rudy until a foreign object crashed from the atmosphere nearby, and a levy of superhuman and non-human agents with interest in it threw this regular thursday off the window. With the laboratory in jeopardy, Rudolph helped the staff further inside, until alien debris slammed through the floor, losing recollection of what happened then.
He woke up days later, and something else did with him, he could see people helping him, and he helped himself to them. A huge void was left within his body, and he sought to fill it with the bodies of others, holding onto them and draining them of everything until nothing was left but a husk. The scene was quickly evacuated and police were summoned to the scene, but as bullets proved to be an inefficient deterrent, Rudy kept expanding the perimeter and reaping more life-bags that failed to sate this irrational thirst.
Bigger guns arrive to the scene, a dispatch team from The Order manages to seize the withered man by seeking to immobilize him rather than putting him down, escorting him from public view by helicopter. Their full-body shackles have worked to seize much more intimidating metahumans before, and it seemed to keep Rudy still, up until someone got too handsy with the electrical deterrence feature, prompting Rudolph to seize the shackles in his hands and bid the current to never stop, siphoning the restraints off its strength, and in doing so, mutating into something beyond human, and beyond control. The helicopter crew stood no chance, but the vehicle stayed in the air, although it changed coursed with Rudolph at the helm. The Order kept secrets, and some of them were his to consider now. A military base full of experimental technology, and thus power sources, was now his objective.
With some unwanted company on its tail, the Parasite abandoned his aircraft for it to become an explosive diversion as it expedited landfall, putting the complex in high alert. Conventional weaponry would at least have been useless, but the high-grade energy arms made things worse as they only made the creature larger and stronger. The Parasite was only getting fiercer, and yet it seemed to slow down with each victim. In its shallow eyes, formless blobs of energy started to coalesce into prey, then into people, and then into casualties, the euphoria was permeated with a sense of familiar wrongness. This lapse ceased as superheroes arrived to put a stop to the Parasite, and as the struggle escalated and the creature only became stronger with every conventional attempt to stop it, someone found a vector through which the creature was vulnerable: It's conscience.
Tugging at a vector through which the Parasite couldn't reach, Rudy was brought to the fore in a roaring screech, forcing him to flee. He contemplated his condition, his hunger, and the many lifes that swirled in his mind, some of which he knew well, even before he knew them all too well. He sought to starve himself, to end his own tormented existence, but the hunger took his consciousness whenever it became too ravenous, it was unwilling to give in, only to take. As such, Rudy returned to this scene of the crime, and gave himself in, so that he could no longer do harm, so that the hunger can be reigned in, and perhaps, so that he can have his peaceful life back.
If only a creature capable of disabling and synthesizing metahumans wasn't so interesting, that is.

"What do you MEAN BY THAT?!"
A half-roar, half-uproar echoed through the empty halls of this lonely, underground cell. The government had to get tricky to keep Rudy Jones behind bars when any form of containment or deterrence fails the moment you put a bit too much juice through it. Instead, it relied on the goodwill of a battered man that was no longer such a thing, not even to himself at times. However, some higher up decided to push their luck today, and had Sarah Valentine, some good-intentioned researcher doing checkups for this peculiar inmate, deliver the news that he was being conscripted to do the government's dirty work. "Mr. Jones, if you would please li-TO WHAT?!", Sarah could hear the Parasite slam the rightmost wall of his cell, a concrete and metal wall with barely a slit for air and eye contact, through which neither party was courageous enough to peek through.
"I can't do it. That's why I'm here. That's why I need to be here!", he said, Rudy Jones said, the hunger disagreed. He didn't need to be here, he could be wherever he wanted, and feel free, and full, and powerful, and things he had to consciously trick himself into thinking he didn't need. It's been a while, hasn't it? His meals don't have a fixed schedule or menu, it keeps the beast from building an appetite in advance. No wonder his portions have felt larger recently, they were plumping the chicken. "Mr. Jones I'm sorry, but we believe it is best that you accept. The government has a vested interest in your condition to-KILL for them?! For a third time?!", he lashed out and peeked through the whole with one eye, watching the reporter and her light escort, with weapons now trained on him. It made them feel bold, as if the bullets did something, if they did, he probably wouldn't have to be here. "That's all they care about isn't it? This was never about giving me back my life, was it?!", it spoke between groans, though Sarah mustered the courage to reply. "Mr. Jones please consider, before the incident, you were but a normal man, and yet, this happened to you. The government has raised concerns that should this happen again, a wider infection could affect the populace. There could be dozen, hundreds. We can't develop a cure with you sitting here, or with an autopsy. It will benefit us both!", she argued valiantly, and there was little but the hurried steps of a conflicted creature.
"...No, I can't. Maya, she can't see me like this again, she woul-", Rudy groaned before he was interrupted by a soldier clearly clearing his throat to grab Sarah's attention, to which she sighed. "Mr. Jones, your wife and daughter are currently under the witness protection progWHAT?!". Jones pressed his whole body against the wall, his dark eye almost bulging through the small crevice, somehow the unarmed woman was the only one to not step back. "I'm sorry, but several bad actors have caught wind of Maya's relationship with the Parasite. We have taken preventive action to keep her and Kaylie safe from retaliation. They will not be able to visit you here for the time being". Time seemed to freeze, and the beast slumped against the fall and onto his knees. Even after all of this, even in this sorry state, he is still hurting his family. It was worthless, it was all in vain. "Mr. Jones, I understand your distrust, but please, trust me, this is the only way. You don't have to be a monster, but you have to help yourself, and you can do that by helping us".
There was no reason to stay here anymore was it? That's right, the hunger and Rudy were in agreement for once, he needs to be out, he needs to be with Maya and Kaylie, he needs protect them, to be himself. He needs to protect them, he needs to remove the threats to Maya and Kaylie, he needs to eliminate them, and any that would retaliate for them, he needs to protect himself, he needs to protect himself from his jailers, from the government, from all that would bring harm to his family, to him. He needs to grow strong, grow large, grow powerful, then nothing can ever harm him, he needs to be himself, he needs to be the Parasite. The creature stuttered between groaning exhalations through this internal struggle, heeding not the chatter outside, before it all became clear. "I...am afraid at least one of us...is going to regret this", he apologized, his monstrous left claw holding tight of his right forearm.
"What do you me-", the sound of tearing metal echoed through the hall as the creature's hand pierced through its 'containment', holding the researcher tight. Time seemed to stand still as the Parasite closed his eyes in elation, the hunger, it had been so long it had been sated like this, the rush of euphoria begged him to not stop, commanded him to never stop, and yet his eyes opened wide as he ripped himself out of the sensation, dragging his own arm back to break his grasp on Sarah, who slumped to the floor, barely conscious. He could see it now, the vision and honesty of this idealist woman, the soul she poured into helping him, it relieved him, yet the fact that he felt it in his stomach made him ill. "HELP HER, you IMBECILES, or you will be next", Rudy roared at the useless escorts that did nothing but pointlessly point their toys at him, his hand peeking through the bored hole, a reminder that he was the elephant tied to a stick, and he uprooted the stick. Cowardice got these men to act as three of them picked the doctor back up and rushed her out for emergency care, before the monster sat at the back end of his cell, shivering through this adrenaline.
Nothing good will come of this, but something better come of this.
