Lucille would glare at the shadows around her, ice forming gauntlets around her hands as she begins to punch them into smithereens. She vents her frustration on the various shadows that cross her path, yelling in rage as each punch is accentuated with a small burst of ice. She barely has the presence of mind to listen to the other person, but she does internalize his mention of how her 'secret power' is now intrinsically connected to Cal. Him mentioning their 'hearts aligning' makes her finally pause though as she stops to consider that. Her heart is in alignment with Cal's masters? Does this person mean like the same affinities or are they tied together or-
She's interrupted as a shadow smacks her due to her getting lost in her thoughts. "Ack!" She exclaims, dashing backwards in a burst of light. Her icy gauntlets start to glow with light as well, but before she gets the chance to do any damage adding her second element into the mix a raspy voice emanates out from the eyes, causing her to look at them with a glare. "Well good for you, master manipulator. Suppose I can't politely ask you to return my parents to me, can I?" She asks sarcastically, her voice dripping with venom.

The raspy voice lightly chuckles. Its left eye narrows while its right widens, giving the pair of eyes a rather deriding appearance now. "Maybe you've already trounced them while they were Heartless? Or mayhap someone already beat you to the...punch, eh? Even if they were slain in such a manner, getting them returned is like asking to put the juice back into a squeezed fruit." they sneer.
As the figure began to finally start moving again, they...flickered. Like their form was a flame upon a candle about to be snuffed out. "This is my limit for now? I see." they remarked sullenly. They looked to Lucille. They wanted to say many more things to her but their time, it appears, was going to be cut short soon. Their eyes grew wide and the features on their face did the same. Symbols once more burst forth that repelled the Shadows with a penetrating shockwave. "Just remember; this is YOUR heart. Just because they are invading it, does not mean they have sway over it. Only you have that power. The power of choice. You get to decide who to let in."
As the sigil of Cal grew brighter, so too did a translucent, bright figure began to emerge in said space. It wouldn't be difficult to tell who it was by the shape of its body and the good vibes its yips brought with it.
With this new development, came with it a pair of Neoshadows that stalked the outskirts of the circle.

Lucille bristles as the raspy voice taunts her, talking about her parents as if they are expendable waste. Her teeth clench as the frigid wind around her grows even chillier. "Their Hearts must be out there in the dark somewhere. I'm going to find them... And if I get the chance to beat your face in along the way then all the better!" She exclaims, smashing her ice gauntlet into a nearby Shadow.
She notices out of the corner of her eye the taller figure flickering and disappearing. She feels a pang of worry for them, but it seemed less like they were in danger and more like they were being cut off, like a television getting bad reception. They part with some words of advice. Damn it, figures whatever dastardly villain she's dealing with would try to strike her while she's most vulnerable.
The sound of a yip from behind her draws her attention, turning to face her fuzzy little friend. Her eyes widen. "Cal? What're you doing h-" She pauses as she realizes how stupid of a question that is. "Right, dream eater. That's kind of your whole deal isn't it?" She responds. She turns her gaze toward the neoshadows with a glare, ice gauntlets hardening. "Alright, let's trounce these bastards!"

The only response Lucille would get from the voice was a scoff followed by a derisive chuckle. It was clear that her words meant as little to it as its own words did to discourage her.
With one last look, the tall figure gave their parting words. "We'll meet again. Never forget; as dark as it may get, there is always a glimmer of determination within." Then with a bow, they were gone. And with his departure, came an influx of Shadows that were suddenly launched from inside the circle to the recesses of the darkness beyond.
Cal, upon receiving Lucille's greeting, got on its haunches and wiggled, stretched, then subsequently yipped in agreement to her decision to fight these creatures. Unlike the normal Shadows, these figures were taller, slimmer, near humanoid, and of course, clearly, much stronger.
There were only two. But two was more than enough. They leapt into the air then dove feet-first into miniature pools of darkness. Then mere seconds later, emerged from pools that appeared closeby by leaping from them with arms outstretched , spinning like whirligigs with claws slashing the air about them as they arose.
With a defensive motion, the pudgy dream eater rolled to the side as casually as could be to avoid the initial assault then, as one of the Neoshadow's landed, it bounded right toward it with its head and little horn and tackled the fiend which went sprawling to the side. It shook itself back up on its feet as Cal yipped defiantly at it.
