Canon Or Original?:

Appearance

Physical Appearance:
In her human form, Mags, she prefers to have caramel colored skin. Her hair will often change with whatever her mood is on that day.
In her true form, Caress, she has skin that looks like marble but soft and smooth her hair will often appear as stark white as well
In both forms she stands at 5’8” and has golden eyes. In her true form her eyes are like those of serpents. Piercing and sharp. They also have an eerie glow that she uses to intimidate enemies.
Clothing and Armor:
In her human form her attire varies based on what she’s doing that day. But there’s often a through line. She loves streetwear and techwear, often wearing clothes with seemingly unnecessary straps and belts. When performing she wears something more appropriate for the venue.
Her True form will often be seen in a form fitting black and white full length dress or bodysuit with a red fur stoll that seems a little too large to be just a stoll…because it isn’t.
Personality
Sexual Orientation:
“I bend whatever way I feel necessary.”
General Personality:
Caress is a cunning individual who loves to study body language. She has carefully developed a way of reading intent so she knows when she’s overstayed her welcome in certain places. Through her cunning, Caress has learned to seem unassuming and harmless. People are more willing to interact with someone who is likable. Which is probably why Mother sends her out into the world instead of going out there herself.
However, being likable does not mean being a pushover. She maintains a level of dominance in her interactions with others, especially men. The only person she is truly subservient to is the Coven’s Mother ie her own mother.

Father:
Nyarlatotep
Other Family:

History:
Magdalena’s life has been a series of expectations. Expectations put on her by the Coven. Expectations put on her by her mother. And expectations she put on herself. She was born of a being that was nearly incomprehensible. As such it is expected that she be powerful. She has always shown a natural prowess for spellcasting so as such it is expected that she be able to perform advanced techniques. Her shapeshifting has seen her able to blend into society in any way she chooses. Therefore she is expected to go out into the world and reach the places the Coven cannot influence.
From a young age her mother began teaching her the ins and outs of magic. The basics she mastered very quickly. The impressive bit was that within her first year of learning to shape magic she was learning what intermediate casters were doing. Within five years she was able to use the spells of the highest members of the coven with relative ease. Perhaps a benefit of being born via Parthenogenesis. The coven’s members figured she somehow had, on some subconscious level, had the knowledge and wisdom of her mother. But now the Coven’s eyes were on Mags. She could go toe to toe with the greats. Pressure began to mount onto her shoulders.
Her mother knew that her daughter wielded much power. She was a demigod of sorts after all. As a highly powerful being, it was expected that Mags would lend her power to protecting the coven. Once Mags was old enough, Coreisa developed a ritual that would use her daughter's power to imbue the land (and most importantly herself) with her innate power. A protection spell she said. With a sneaky siphoning of power for herself. A tithe for when Mags was away she said. Mags was unaware that it was actually prolonging her mother’s life stopping her from aging.
As she grew older and more refined in her skills she acted as her mother’s left hand. Her duties were added to. She learned to place the protective runes herself, imbuing the land with her power to protect it. She didn’t notice her mother’s siphoning of the power. She learned the writing of glyphs and how to make glyphs that only her Eldritch Eyes could see and comprehend fully.
Eventually she learned the most important skill she would ever have. Power bestowal. Her mother studied her and her power closely. A binding ritual. It would link their power and their life forces more intrinsically and allow Coreisa to perform the land’s protection rituals herself. Something Mags was pleased with. She wouldn’t have to interrupt her own time outside of the Hallow to return and recharge the wards the same time every month. She could use that time for more important work.
With that all out of the way she’s spent a little less time in the Hallow and more time in the outside world. She watched as progress swept the world of men adapting to its ways and finding new ways to blend in at her mother’s request. Though she does have dreams of doing more than blending in. Nothing dangerous. To her anyway.
For now, Mags sings at the Oblivion bar to get herself on the magical radar in some capacity. She’s shown some interest in joining Darkwatch. This way she can keep a good eye on the magical community and send some information to her mother.
Role Play Sample:
Mags watched as her mother planted her feet back on the ground. “18 hours huh.” She stepped past the sister into the ritual space within the Hallows center tree. “You could have asked me to do it. I would've been done in 4. Anyway that’s not the point.” She waved her hand and the sister left. The tree closed to give them privacy. Then she was free to drop the glamour, which she promptly did. Her golden brown skin and copper hair turned white like marble and her attire changed to a black and white body suit and the fur stole she usually wore hit the floor and sprouted four legs like a dog.
She grabbed the Hellhound by the face and smooshed it like you would any other dog. “You’re such a good boy protecting mommy for so long today. Good job, Luther.” The dog panted and seemed to be smiling as far as anyone in the room could tell. A chair formed behind Mags as she sat down and crossed her legs. Luther, her Hellhound followed suit laying down at her feet. Her demeanor shifted drastically as she addressed her mother who was stoic as ever. “Not long ago the humans started a group called Darkwatch. They are comprised of the worlds best or most persistent magic users. Headed by the Sorcerer Supreme.” She searched her mother’s face for any sort of recognition. Of course there was nothing. “They’ve got a number of others but he’s the most notable. Second only to this guy…umm…what was his name… that conqueror guy- Constantine. Truly he’s only notable because he’s quite vexing. I’ve only had the displeasure of interacting with him once when he was plastered out of his mind and I gotta tell you he suuuucks.”
“I assume you didn’t interrupt me for gossip.” Her mother interrupted her story urging her to get the point.
“No. I came because your ritual drew A LOT of power. A 4th dimension glyph?” Mags gestures to the glyph now floating off to the side from where they were. "While I want to be nosy I feel the less I know of what you’re doing the better. You have to be more careful. Darkwatch is incredibly vigilant and will be knocking on your door if they sense some big magic like that again.”
“If you were around more often perhaps the process would be streamlined by now.”
Mags held back a snarky remark. Her mother was attempting to use magic that was not meant for her. She turned back to the glyph. She held out her hand and parts of the glyph started rotating. A dark red ichor seemed to float around her hand as Mags’ magic adjusted the glyph. Her fingers seemed to direct each of the parts. Then the glyph seemed to multiply and reflect itself. At impossible angles.
“There. The channeling should be much more efficient. Though I’d wait a little while before attempting to do this again.” Mags turned to her mother. The expression on her face had not changed in the slightest. She was convinced the words thank you had never been uttered by the woman.
Mags stood up and stretched her arms. “I’m going to take Luther for a walk around the woods. He needs to stretch his legs for a little bit. Then I’ll be back and we can have the small talk. That is...If you have anything you'd like to share.” The tree opened up and she left the tree. Luther, close behind her wagged his tail on the way out.

Powers/Abilities:
Eldritch Demigod Physiology- Mags was born of the unholy union of an Ancient Witch and one of the Eldritch gods. Her physiology and lineage have granted her a multitude of powers that have made her and by extension her mother’s coven formidable.
- Decelerated Aging- Being a shapeshifter and the daughter of an Eldritch being, Caress does not age the same way as average humans. While she can appear any age she wishes and usually chooses to appear as a young woman in her mid-late 20s
- Enhanced Athleticism- She has enhanced physical strength, durability, speed and stamina slightly more than that of a human athlete. She is able to lift up to 400lbs with effort.
- Invisibility- by bending the light around her she can render herself invisible to the naked eye and all across the visible spectrum.
- Shadow form- She can become pure shadow to move at incredible speeds almost seeming to teleport.
- Shapeshifting- all the beings in her lineage have the ability to appear to humans however they please. For Eldritch beings this is especially useful to not send a human into a catatonic from attempting to comprehend their true form. Her true form, however, while not as incomprehensible, is still just as frightening as it is beautiful. She only takes this form in the presence of her mother and coven members, or when she is acting on behalf of the Coven.
- Irresistible voice- as a shapeshifterher vocal chords can function however she choses. With enchantments and a bit of vocal manipulation she can use this to her advantage. Luring others to a trap. Or commanding others to do her bidding.
- Eldritch Magic- her lineage gives heraccess to different magic than that of other sorcerers. She is able to grant the use of this magic to other trusted individuals as she has done with her own mother, thus bolstering her talents. On her own her magic gives her access to abilities like Telekinesis, Telepathy, Teleportation, Matter and Energy Manipulation and Magical Constructs. But rather than flex power she prefers to get her hands dirty. Often enchanting her nails to become magical claws to shred her enemies with.
- Telepathic Resistance - Her Outer One lineage allows her a level of resistance to telepathy making her difficult but not impossible to track and/or influence telepathically.
Dancing- has trained in multiple forms of dance and can learn choreo very quickly
