Pokemon: The Indigo League

Come one and all; The strong, the wise, the clever, and the ambitious. The Indigo conference rages across world media as another yearly event to truly prove who is... The Pokemon Master. Those who have just received their pokedex, veterans of the previous Indigo conference, and the ambitious from across the sea come to the Kanto region with the express intent of winning this no holds barred competition. All one must do is win eight different badges from the eighteen (Use your imagination) different gyms scattered across the region and present an official pokedex from one of the many prestigious laboratories scattered across the region.
Losers, Winners, and something in between bring themselves to the foot of Mount Silver to see who can win this conference of glory and gold. Hardships and bitter rivalries.

Rules
Okay, now that this is out of the way. The Indigo League will be an anime-inspired project. Built in a way similar to the first few pokemon leagues of Ash Ketchum's story around Kanto, Johto, Hoenn. The encouraging idea is this is not like the games but rather acts on creativity and fun team design. The Rp will start at or adjacent to the actual start of the competition so your first battle might not even be official but just practice with another player or NPC. Your teams will be rolled randomly with me on Discord, but if you somehow roll gangbusters and get 9 fully evolved monster pokemon you have to reach out with me and find out how we can roll around that team to be more applicable to the environment of the RP. You basically only know which pokemon someone has based on their gym battles, contest participation, and events that they may have battled in. You can hide this information by being a nobody (Other than Gym Participation).
You will receive with these 9 rolls/slots of which you can choose the types. You can also surrender an entire category token for an extra tenth, eleventh, and twelfth slot;
Pokemon Team:
- Be respectful and understanding of all people in this Roleplay
- You have to communicate with me on Discord for the first section for your team rolls. If you can't manage then just go somewhere else. I have no use for years old drama, I'm just having fun.
- Be respectful of all calls made in this Roleplay. At the end of the day whether you're battling NPC's or other players you are incentivized and encouraged to play fairly and respect all judgement calls.
- Edginess and any Egotistical desire to just meta game this is not encouraged.
- No Fakemon.

- 1 Starter Token (You can Pick your Starter, within reason.)
- 2 Evolution Tokens (I will let you have a general control over the evolution stage that a pick has. If you're only using this to meta game 2 pokemon on a team of already fully evolved pseudolegendaries. There will be some minor limitations.)
- 3 Rerolls (You get Rerolls)
