[Lenora] Moltres Must Do's

“Rest up, Gravy. You’ll get ‘em next time!”

Lenora shoved her arm forward, a bright beam of red light flashing from the sphere clenched in her right hand. She grimaced as she returned the pokeball to her belt. Gravy had been her ace and secret weapon here, right at home amongst the rocky outcroppings and boulders. She let Lisa have her moment as she returned her own pokemon, mind racing as she saw the grinning Aipom excitedly jump into the fray.

“That li’l Wooper’s not so little anymore, Lisa! You’ve been busy. Too bad I’m your first opponent, though. Going to have to end this tournament run before it even gets started!”

Clicking another pokeball off her belt, Lenora chucked it forward. A sturdy and bright blue creature emerged from within, a gargantuan red bulb covered in leaves popping out from its back. The Ivysaur yawned and stretched, letting the sunlight soak into its body as it sat amongst the rocks. It was a far less mobile creature than the Aipom, but Lenora had a plan in mind as the purple ape danced distractedly above.

“Sesame, use sleep powder!”

The Ivysaur grunted in approval of the move before leaning forward. It slapped its forehead into a patch of dirt and aimed the bulb on its back in the direction of Aipom’s dance moves. An instant later a blue, sparkling powder shot forth, its cloudy form hurtling forward at Sesame and Lenora’s new and feisty opponent.
