Long ago, this world was once whole. The races coexisted peacefully but the two that suddenly found themselves at odds with each other...were HUMANS and MONSTERS. A war then broke out between the two. After a long battle, it was the HUMANS that were victorious and the MONSTERS were sealed underground with a magic spell. Time passed and the battle had been long forgotten.
"We need seven, right?"
Legends say those that climb Mt. Ebott never return....yet here is where newly instated keyblade wielder Steven Universe had been brought to alongside trusted Guardian Pearl who also serves as one of the three caretakers that look after him and also accompanying them, newly instated and rapidly rising star of the Allies of Scala Ad Caelum Kelly.
It was a beautiful day outside in the woods and accompanying cliff side. Birds were singing. Flowers were blooming. On days like these, Steven would be overjoyed to be outside...and he was! How could he not be excited about what could be declared his first major outing as a Keyblade Wielder?! Pearl can call it training if she wants, to Steven, it was the start of something great! Kelly was tagging along because she had been asked. As an Ally, she had to learn to work together with Wielders of all shapes and sizes and Master Erst alongside Guardian Cid Raines managed to convince Pearl that this was for the best.
Kelly was far and away not the kind of student Pearl was used to. Queen had decorum and grace. Rem had that keen learning curve. Even Cinque had that aloof charm that made her movements a wonder to behold. But Kelly was-
"Yo, Steven! Check out this rock I found!" declared she with the draping mint-green hair holding up a rather oddly-shaped and sizable rock. "It was covered in bugs and stuff but I managed to get it! Wanna see how far down the mountain it can go when I huck it?!" queried she now perched near the edge of the cliff, precariously causing some of the dirt to tumble down the edge....down the deep, steep mountainside.
-like someone ELSE she knew. In the short amount of time Steven had met Kelly, they had already bonded over some of the things Pearl didn't quite understand. Like that...Lonely Blade show Steven likes. Honestly, that wasn't even REAL swordsmanship! And food! Eugh. The way Kelly just shoved a donut into her mouth on their trip here was...a spectacle best left unremembered. But like as not, this was ultimately Pearl's decision on what to do here, despite what Steven thought.

"Not like this"
