177A Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village, Manhattan Island. That shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? She had a pocket map of the city, her destination was clearly marked, but it was so noisy, and there were so many people, where was she? She was on 6th avenue, but that was quite a long road. Oh, there’s a square ahead! Or... triangle? A fountain and some benches, should be an easy enough feature to find on the map? She had to cross Carmine to get to it, Carmine & 6th... Wait, is the third street... Yes! Bleecker! She just had to cross 6th, walk a few blocks, and it should be on her... left? Yes, left, yes? Yes.
A quick jaunt across the street when the little green man lights for her turn and she’s on her way. She had become rather accustomed to the background noise of the city and flow of a pedestrian’s journey, despite her not being there long. It was how she’d pass the time most of the days, simply wandering the city, mapping out the sights in her mind, trying to wrap her head around the different customs and slangs. There was also so much honking and shouting this time of day. 172, 177 should be just up ahead- ooo. That building’s a little fancier than the rest, the round window at the top had an interesting design, like the Sanctum in Hong Kong, that must be it.
Light steps with heavy feet carry a young woman up to the threshold of 177A Bleecker, where she went to knock but paused with her hand in the air. She remembered something. It invited Sun Nao in, perhaps she could speak to it? ”Kon’nichiwa, Sanctum, may I enter? Wonder Woman said I should meet Doctor Strange here.” She’d offer a polite greeting to the front door, nodding instead of bowing as there was little space for it. Would that work? If not she’d knock after a few moments.
If so she’d enter, and give a nod of thanks to the door as she passed through the threshold, looking about the main room with an almost childish sense of wonder. Most of her attire was well worn and simple, cherry blossom pink and white sneakers, faded jeans repaired with pale golden thread, but her shirt donned a face familiar to many, though not to her as it happens. A sky blue shirt, image of a man mostly made of fire laying in a meadow under the midday sun, a few fluffy clouds above. One hand was normal, as was the front half of his head, holding a butterfly before his face as he smiled warmly.
