"I've got fists an' feet that'll hit ya like a bloody machine gun, mate!"
General Information
Name: Jack 'Jackie' Montgomery Williams
Identity: "Slugger" (Former Vigilante Title) | Southern Flurry
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Date of Birth: July 12th
Place of Origin: Melbourne, Australia
Occupation: Ex-Vigilante | Pro-Hero
Faction: Pro-Heroes (Rank 12)
Appearance
Visual Appearance:
Physical Appearance: Jack is a healthy and active man, even if he is a kangaroo thanks to his father's side of the family genes. He stands at a rather amazing 7'6 tall and has brown-red fur all over his body, save for his belly and chest, his fingertips, his toes, and the tip of his tail, which are all a dull beige. His eyes are dark green. He has a very fit-looking physique, clearly displaying his position as a brawler.
Civilian Clothes: Jack's to-go-to outfit consists of a pair of grey shorts and a white tank top, as well as some bandages over his hands.
Hero Outfit: His hero outfit is consisting of some very hi-tech equipment, partially due to private funding from one of his previous mentors, a former renowned Pro-Hero. He wears a suit which is highly flexible and mobile to accommodate his Quirk, whereas a normal outfit would've been ripped apart from such rapid wear and tear. The material is durable and resilient to friction and high-force impacts, and has attachments to all sorts of gadgets all over it, including small compressed oxygen tanks on his back with a breather mask attached to his face to keep his breathing stable during extended quirk usage, along with a pair of bath-salt grenades around his waist to either stun opponents, or to "kick-start" himself if he needs an extra pinch in combat. He also has a pair of custom-made 'rocket boots' strapped to his feet that, while not capable of giving him actual flight, gifts him with incredible bursts of speed and on-the-fly maneuvering and repositioning.
Personality
Bad Habits:
Cockiness: Jack has always had a bad habit of not reining in his own cockiness and arrogance, even in the face of danger. He'll keep on being the smarmy, shit-talking jackass that he is, even to his very end.
Extremely Blunt: Jack will not cut corners when it comes to what he wants to say. He's got an opinion on something? You bet your ass that he will say it out loud, and without regard to those around him.
Goal: To prove to his family that he's more than just a 'rowdy delinquent', and be a Pro-Hero great enough to shine as great as his grandfather, 'Monty Jackaroo'.
General Personality:
Jack is what you'd expect from a rowdy street-smart brat. He is cocky and smarmy to a fault, and will never pass down an opportunity to show off or brag about his stuff. He can be rather insufferable with his bragging, and may just need to be forcefully shut up to get the point of disinterest in his bragging across. Still, in the end, he is just like any other friendly bloke; he is supportive, compassionate, willing to lend a hand if someone asks for it, and he is also really eager to prove himself in any way possible, just to prove to himself, and his family, that he is not the 'delinquent' they've painted him out to be.
Thankfully, most of those negative traits were worn down as he grew up, and nowadays he is just an extremely supportive and caring role-model for those who look up to him. His time with Hokori, especially after their marriage, has also contributed to this change in personality to him. Though he can't resist being a braggart every now and then~

History:
Jack's life prior to his days as a U.A student was a bit rough. Even in his first years of preschool, he was constantly made fun of due to his physical appearance as a kangaroo, and was shunned by most friend groups even in primary school. He did not discover his Quirk until he was 7 years old, and accidentally tapped into his adrenaline-boosting powers when he tried to shove a school bully off of himself, slamming said bully so hard into a locker that the door dented inwards. Jack was naturally called in for a meeting, along with his parents, but he was ultimately let go due to not technically being 'in control' of his actions, but did not escape being reprimanded by the principle. After this, however, he was transferred to a Quirk-centric primary school instead, and he managed to actually feel like he fit in and make some friends there.
Perhaps it was the fact that he found his Quirk to be cool, or maybe he hung out with the wrong crowd of friends, but somewhere along the line, when he was attending secondary school, he began to secretly head out in the night and perform crime-fighting as a Vigilante. His parents never knew of it for a long while, but just as he was about to graduate secondary school, one of his hits against a group of bank robbers managed to not only get caught on camera, thus catching Jack in the act, but he also almost got killed due to the robbers having a Quirk user among them. Thankfully, his grandfather, the ex-Pro-Hero 'Monty Jackaroo', managed to come to his grandson's rescue, but he was heavily disappointed with Jack. And he let it be known, as he told the rest of his family just what Jack had been up to after Jack confessed to him, and whilst his family were upset with him, they knew that he had to be given a proper introduction to what it meant to be a 'hero'.
And so, when he was of age, he was being written into the prime-grade hero academy of "U.A High School" in Japan. Naturally, Jack was against it at first, not wanting to head so far away from his family, but his mom and dad reassured him that they'd be fine, so long as they knew that their son would do fine in Japan with his studies. Jack promised them he'd behave, and he also promised his grandfather that when he returned, he'd be as great of a Pro-Hero as he once was. And so he set off for Japan, to attend U.A High. His first year was a bit rocky, as he felt out of place and scared in a foreign land, but thanks to the care and attentive support of his teachers, as well as his family keeping in touch with him constantly, he was able to power through his first year, and learn a lot more about not only hero society, but also learning a lot about his own Quirk and its limitations.
He also managed to bond a lot with his classmates, but especially with a boy from 1-B, named Hokori. The two of them hit it off really well as friends, and were always found just chatting, training, or having a generally good time with each other's company. As the two of them then moved onto second year, it was there that Jack began to realize he had REALLY grown to like Hokori, more than just as a friend! So with a bit of helpful coaxing from one of his classmates, he managed to ask Hokori out on a date, and the two of them hit it off just as amazingly, and began to open up a lot more to each other as boyfriends.
Their three years at U.A High came and went, and soon they were venturing out into the world of Pro-Heroes. Their career was a slow-starter, but quickly grew in fame and notoriety as the years came and went. Their heroic deeds grew more and more numerous, mainly thanks to Jack and his rapid-response call to action, followed up by Hokori to support him. Eventually, they had begun to earn a proper hero's wage, and once they were able to live and pay rent together, their relationship developed further; right after another resounding boom to their popularity, Jack and Hokori got engaged, and soon enough married, being renowned as the first ever same-sex Pro-Hero couple in Japan. Together they formed their own little agency, just for the two of them. And while they do live a modest apartment life, their Pro-Hero activities are far from subtle!
Quirk
Name: Adrenaline Boost
Quirk Type: Emitter
Power: Even though his father's side of the family provided the dominant genes for his physical appearance of a kangaroo, Jack's Quirk is mainly thanks to his mother's side. Adrenaline Boost essentially allows Jack to freely manipulate and control his flow of adrenaline within his own body at will, and thus remarkably increases his bodily capabilities (increased blood flow to muscles, thus increasing their strength and density, for instance). Through his days as a former Vigilante, and the remarkable training he received at U.A High, Jack has shown to be quite creative and understanding of his Quirk and its unspoken dangers, and has as such come up with a self-imposed 'limiter' to himself, which he calls his 'Rush Levels'. So far, he is capable of going up to 'Rush Level 3', but he has stated that if he ever has to use the 4th 'Level', which means going all out, he might not make it.
Supermoves:
Rush Level 1 - Arm Power: By tapping into the basic level of Rush Level 1, Jack is able to have his adrenaline affect his muscular structure and tension within his arms, allowing them to turn denser and stronger beyond his natural capabilities. Like simulating the adrenaline rush that heavy-weight boxers and professional bodybuilders experience, it allows his arms to pack an even bigger punch than normal. Jack can stay in Rush Level 1 for a long while, but prolonged usage will eventually result in drawbacks.
Rush Level 2 - Leg Power: Going into Rush Level 2, Jack's adrenaline will now affect his legs in the same way his arms are affected, and will, in his own words, 'turn his legs into super-powered industrial springs'. This means he'll receive both increased leg and kicking strength similar to his Arm Power boost in Level 1, but also increased running speed and jumping strength.
Rush Level 3 - Perception: At his current 'strongest' level of Rush Level 3, Jack's adrenaline now affects his brain and nerve system, allowing his five senses to become 'super-charged' and giving him an immense increase in his perceptive abilities, such as hearing things from miles away, or focusing his eyes enough to see things in 'slow-motion'.
Drawbacks: Jack's Quirk can be extremely strong if used correctly, but it is regardless a very dangerous and lethal Quirk if it is abused in any circumstance. Due to Jack's Quirk physically affecting his own adrenaline output, Jack always runs an extremely high risk of suffering the consequences of heightened adrenaline levels just by activating his powers, hence how he's started developing limiters to contain himself. It goes without saying that the biggest drawback of Jack's Quirk is the very real risk of over-taxing his own body's durability and longevity, as the adrenaline can cause his muscles to wear and tear down quicker without regulated resting periods in-between using it. Overusing his Quirk can lead to Jack suffering from a slew of life-threatening conditions as well, including aneurysms or strokes. Furthermore, whilst he has never gone so far, he has constantly been implying that the '4th Level' of his Rush Level limiter is one that could actively threaten to kill him if he uses it.
Fighting Style: Jack's mainly learned to fight through the School Of Hard Knocks on the streets of Melbourne, and has picked up bits and bobs here and there whenever he can. He fashions himself as an "M.M.A fighter" type of brawler, having small knowledge of various martial styles, chief among them being Muay Thai and Boxing. He mainly relies on his own fleet-footed fighting, and his natural strength and kick-force as a kangaroo, but will gradually start busting out his Quirk powers if things get hairy. As he used to be a street brawler, he's also not entirely against utilizing anything at his disposal to win a fight, or even to 'fight dirty'.
