Name: Fox "The Pale Ghost" Battle
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Birthplace:
Born in Side 3 to former Zeon patriates who joined the AEUG when the call to arms against the Titans was made. Currently lives on the Moon in Van Braun city when not in active duty.
Faction: The A.E.U.G.
Rank: Lieutenant Junior Grade
Appearance:
Fox is approximately 5'10" with a slender build, weighing around 162 pounds. He has a scar from a previous battle that resulted when an enemy unit's beam saber cut to close to his cockpit, causing his HUD to explode in to shards of glass, one of which crossed his face from right cheek to left brow. He has prematurely white hair as a result of the shock of near sudden death from the same incident, and blue eyes, the color of a midnight sky. Though he has a very toned musculature, and he wears a white flight suit or uniform to match his call sign earned as a result of his white hair and knack for surviving near death experiences. Thanks to this signature look and run of luck he has garnered the nickname "The Pale Ghost", with friends amon the AEUG.
Personality:
Though he has seen more than his share of death and anguish, such as his Uncle dying in the Zeon loss of California Base, or his class mates in Side 1 at his boarding school's murder by the Titans, Fox maintains a cheery exterior.
As the child of two career soldiers, he says he was raised to realize just how fleeting life was, and meet all situations with a smile and a wink. He is a shameless flirt, as long as the woman on the receiving end meets his "criteria" and has a tendency to refer to anyone other than himself as baby. He has even been known to flirt over comms or joke with enemy pilots as long as the woman "sounds hot" or the man "sounds like a cool guy."
He realizes that he could've died in Side 1 with his friends if he hadn't been with his parents visiting the memorial for fallen soldiers of the One Year War at California Base, meant for the Federation, but often visited by both sides do to their losses there during the two battles for the base.
This brings him to his only affectation of sadness, the use of an old Catholic prayer for protection of travelers, of which Religion his family belongs to.
History:
Joining the military for Fox was never a decision.
It was a calling.
He dreamed of fighting for Zeon since a young age, watching ace pilots such as Shin Matsunaga and Char Aznable as he grew up the son of a military doctor and supply depot officer for Kycilia Zabi's forces and marvelled at their amazing skills and flamboyant machines. It was this that lead to his desire to pilot, but the Gundam of the Federation sparked in him a greater interest in White painted mobile suits.
After all, only Char Aznable ever truly bested the Gundam. And even then, usually taking equal damage himself.
With his Uncle's death protecting his parents and his escape shuttle during the second battle for California base while his family took shore leave on the California Golden Coast, Fox began his near misses with death that would lead on to his flippant attitude toward the Grim Reaper's profession.
That wasn't the only part of his dream that changed however. With the Zeon becoming a Republic and mostly bowing to the wishes of the EFF and their Titan enforcers, Fox and his family moved to the moon where political lobbyists still fought, if not powder and brass, verbal tooth and nail, for the dream of Spacenoid Independence.
With his father going to work for Anaheim electronics, and his mother working as a Doctor at refugee conclaves for survivors of war displacement, the young man did his school work at his boarding school and simply waited for a chance to take the fight back to the oppressive Earthnoids. When the Titans murdered an entire colony in cold blood, as summary Judge, Jury, and Executioner, his chance finally came. Already a capable pilot do to days spent fiddling around his Father's supply depot under the watchful eye of the likes of Aces like Uma Lightning who imparted advice to the wishful teen of a half decade ago, Fox leaped at his chance to join the AEUG along with his parents starting off as an aid to his Father on the moon supply lines.
It wasn't long before Quattro Bajeena, a man he could swear he met as a child, saw his worth as a pilot while "test driving" (read joy riding) one of the first Nemos to come through the supply lines. Upon suggestion from the influential officer, Fox was transferred to the Lunar Defense Fleet, where he has seen repeated action since the war's explosive acceleration with the AEUG's assault on Jaburo.
Now only time will tell if the young Hellfighter will ever earn the right to be the newest pilot of a White Mobile Suit, more or less the V-fin it dons.
Mobile Suit:
Gundam Mk. III, painted in his black trimmed white motif by the Rattler's engineering corps. Armed with it's standard twin beam cannon backpack, shield with two mounted beam sabers, and beam rifle.
