"Can you just get lost? You're SO not my type."
General Information
Name: Lauren Spence
Identity: Blood Hound
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Date of Birth: June 15
Place of Origin: California, United States
Occupation: Student | Hero Trainee
Faction: U.A High, 3-B | The Dusk Agency
Appearance
Visual Appearance:
Physical Appearance: Lauren is a 5'7 tall wolf-girl, covered in white and black fur and also having long white hair. Naturally, as she is a wolf, she has claws on her fingers and toes as well. Her eyes are rather special, as they have a red sclera and white iris, and her pupils are vertically slitted. She also has numerous, small scars on her wrists, arms, and thighs, that're all covered up by her fur.
Civilian Clothes: Lauren's most regular attire consists of a grey crop-top with straps over her shoulders, which're arranged in such a way that they form a pentagram, a black choker with silver spikes, black fingerless gloves, black short-shorts and black stockings.
Hero Outfit:
Her Hero outfit is a seemingly basic set of body-armor colored both red, pink and black, made by a very elastic and durable material, with the black segments of it being mesh clothing that is able to let fluids seep through it. Adorning the back of her gloves in this armor are a pair of extendable needles that she's able to use as basic self-defense weapons, or to puncture her own skin to utilize her Quirk.
Personality
Bad Habits:
Canid Habits
Her wolf side more than often emerges out of her at times, as she'll sometimes end up growling at people she dislikes, baring her teeth, or even snapping out a few fierce barks as well. But on the flip-side, she'll be plenty affectionate with people she DOES like, and will express herself in ways such as bumping her head against theirs or wagging her tail in their presence. She'll also act very dog-like in general, such as panting with her tongue out when she's feeling warm.
Rudeness
She can be very rude and insensitive most of the time, due to how she was raised in her early teens. She'll confront anyone who she thinks has done her wrong, and will 'kindly' tell them to fuck off.
Goal: Lauren's desires to be a hero are not exactly the purest, as she has merely described it as 'having a license to kick ass and take names', but ever since graduating to 2-B, her opinions have begun to shift slightly into the territory of 'beating up criminals' at the very least.
General Personality: Lauren, at first glance, is what everyone would call a 'mean bitch'. She is rude, vulgar with her language, does not care too much about people's opinions of her, and she generally just doesn't care much for anything in general. She is a typical rebellious teenager with a dash of superpowers sprinkled into the mix. She will listen to her elders/superiors, but will not hesitate to mouth off on them when she feels that their decision is 'wrong'. She also does not care much for the 'celebrity' status of most Heroes, thinking that those who focus more on their own fame and glamour are just 'stuffed-up Barbie dolls with no sense of dignity'.
When she is in combat, there seems to almost be a 'flick of a switch' in her personality, as she will more than often turn 'feral' and bloodthirsty, and, especially in cases where she's allowed to go all out, will stop at nothing to make sure that her enemies are pounded into the dirt. This is mostly explained by her status of being a hybrid with a carnivorous species of animals, making her much more prone to violent and harmful tendencies, but there's also a slight sense of 'retribution' in her violent acts, thanks to the treatment she received from her father.

History:
Lauren grew up to a pair of middle-class parents in the U.S state of California, being raised with a fairly accommodating and moderately 'luxurious' upraising. She was given mostly whatever she wanted, and all her parents would ever ask of her in return would be to keep being a good girl and do her studies -- along with training her Quirk once she did awaken it. She seemed unaware of the intentions behind the latter-most of the requests, but it became clearer later on that her father had some fishy designs on her--
But those were swiftly caught out and called out by her mother, who had one day cornered Lauren's big and brutish father, demanding him to explain himself. He decided to come clean, as an act of defiance rather than confession, as he'd just tell Lauren that with a Quirk like hers, and the combination she had between her mom and dad's Quirks, that she'd make a perfect fighting weapon to be sold off to a highest bidder Villain group, and he just so happened to have heard of one that was willing to embrace her. Lauren of course refused, which sent her father into a rage, but her mother was able to step between them and use her Quirk to stop him and calm him down. She then proclaimed that she'd have none of it, and declared that they were divorcing. Her father tried to do some shady fumbling behind the scenes of that divorce to claim full custody of her, but her mom's agent was on it, and they managed to catch him in the act, thus granting full custody of Lauren to her mother.
The two decided that the U.S was no longer safe for them, and they'd move to Japan instead, where they had of course heard of the prestigious U.A. High school for Pro-Heroes. Once Lauren and her mother got settled into Japan, she was soon enough enlisted into the entry exams for U.A High, and managed to pass with grace... were it not for the fact that she had let loose a bit more than wanted, and almost hurt another young adult seeking to pass the entry exams with her actions. She was thus placed into 1-B because of it, and remained sour and frustrated over it for the whole year. But thankfully, her attitude did (somewhat) loosen up a bit before her graduation into 2-B, and now she is still working on overcoming her crude outlook on the Hero life.
Her 2nd year of school has been very eventful, and has had a lot of effects on her, both positive and negative ones. The first thing that happened was that, out of the blue, she found a loving girlfriend when she first met the 1st year student Serena Saifu, as slowly but surely the two girls opened up to each other through repeat meetings and small 'dates' here and there, as Lauren had slowly managed to build up Serena's confidence in herself, as well as just letting her open up in-general. Lauren managed to slowly but surely make Serena a whole lot more confident in herself, to the point where she was not even against showing the scars she had developed from her numerous incidents from her childhood. Together, they also eventually both joined up with Nocturne's agency, the Dusk Agency.
However, there were also some bad things that happened. Such as Lauren's father somehow finding out where she and her mother had moved to, and getting to them and kidnapping her mother for a brief stint. She and Serena managed to undo that little coup quickly though, which only served to bond them even closer. Then, a much bigger hurdle presented itself when Serena wished to re-visit the place where her trauma originated from, after a raid was done on the place by Firefly. The things they found and uncovered there were more than enough to traumatize the two students, but it did damage Lauren a bit more due to all the intense smells invading her canine senses, but after their business was done and they emerged, they'd also visit the place Serena used to hide in, and found a small surprise; a child, named Himiko, which Serena and her mother-figure Leona decided to adopt for the time being, with Lauren sort of acting as the girl's aunt from time to time.
Quirk
Name: Blood-Flow
Quirk Type: Emitter
Power: Lauren's Quirk allows her to freely manipulate and control her own blood once its outside of her own body, and allows her to also control the consistency and malleability of it. She needs to puncture her own skin to make her blood flow out of her body, but once she has punctured herself, she can utilize her wounds to draw more blood out of herself to control. Her most common way of utilizing her Quirk is to spawn tendrils made of blood to clamber onto things and either swing off of them or climb up along them, to summon weapons made out of hardened blood (usually goes with a scythe or knives), or to spill blood on the floor and turn it viscous and syrup-y to make movement difficult. She can also re-absorb her blood into her own body at any given time.
Supermoves:
Drawbacks: As suspected, Lauren's Quirk makes her the most vulnerable when she has blood expelled out of her body. She needs to keep a constant check on how much blood she expels at one given time, for even if she can re-absorb her blood back into her body once expelled to prevent herself from suffering from blood loss, she can still experience the rather impairing effects of it, such as increasing levels of dizziness and loss of motor functions/concentration. Furthermore, if someone manages to mix in any form of chemical or toxin into a part of her blood before she re-absorbs it, she cannot absorb any of the blood that has been affected by the chemical/toxin, as it could infect her from the inside.
Fighting Style: Lauren is a mixed fighter, mixing up both long-range and close-range combat with one another, often starting off by pelting her enemies with long-range projectiles before moving in for a swift and precise assault with any blood-weapons she might choose to manifest. She is also great up-close due to her natural weapons as a wolf, with her claws and fangs.
