North American Homelands
Ridgeton, Elemental Farmland
Homeland Name: Ridgeton
Homeland Region: North America
Homeland Location: Kansas
Homeland Appearance: A small town in the middle of nowhere that barely anyone lives in frequently hit by freak storms and earthquakes
Homeland Description: A small town in tornado alley of the United States. It has remained a relic of a forgotten time where the hustle and bustle of the big city passed over and the quiet solemn life of the farm hands continues unabated. Some modern conveniences exist like a mega store that muscled its way in but nothing terribly fancy, most of the roads are made of dirt and large swaths of available land are dedicated to the farms where all manner of crop grow as well as livestock farms.
Monsters Living Here: Gaiea Elementals
Monster History/Culture: The Gaiea elementals have called this location their home far before the colonization of the north americas, originally called shamans among the natives they drew upon the elements to help humans in cohabitation but when modern humans bearing steel and disease came they quickly changed their policies turning away from the world of humans becoming reclusive until the settlement of their region by the pioneers of the early American gold rush. Once their homeland had been incorporated as a state in the new nation the elementals turned their natural talents into a means of both surviving and blending in with humans, through generations they have resisted the influence of human technology as much as possible but even mountains must eventually move, reluctantly accepting some modern conveniences but keeping the old elemental ways.
South American Homelands
European Homelands
Olympus, Home of Mythical Beasts
Homeland Name: Olympus
Homeland Region: Europe
Homeland Location: Greece
Homeland Appearance: A vibrant Grecian city hidden within the mountains of central Greece, along with smaller villages dotted amongst the Peloponnesian islands. Hidden from most humans by an expansive network of yoki illusions and monstrous guardians.
Homeland Description: Olympus as a whole is built to resemble the ancient Hellenistic architecture of the old world, with sprawling cities and expansive markets that cater to the wide variety of monsters that dwell there. Due to hostilities from humans in ancient times the realm is obscured from modern humans by way of a complex illusory barrier, designed to confuse wary human travelers and lead them astray. Weak points in this barrier are guarded by powerful monsters, meaning the few, rare humans who ever get the opportunity to visit Olympus are only ever invited by monsters beforehand.
Monsters Living Here:

- Dryads
- Chimera

Monster History/Culture:
Monsters have been present in Greece since the dawn of time, having been born largely from the union of two powerful titans during the Olympian wars. For the longest time they knew dominance, ruling over the land and sea without a care... until the Olympian gods created humans, a threat to monster kind. For the longest time there was heavy contention between the two factions; skirmishes and hunts on both sides, a bloody stalemate that lasted for millennia. A few of the more benevolent species of monsters managed to coexist with humans in some form or another, small pockets here and there, usually Satyrs and Dryads taking part in humanity's more hedonistic cult activities. But for the most part monsters never knew peace when it came to interacting with humans, particularly when divine heroes and demigods began pushing into their territory more and more.
There was only one safe option for monsterkind... total disconnection. The most powerful of the monsters banded together, creating a vast mass illusion to hide away one of their largest cities, a safe realm where monsters wouldn't have to live in fear of persecution. This seclusion lasted into the modern era, when monsters discovered the means to connect and communicate globally, without having to risk interaction with humans.
African Homelands
Asian Homelands
The Yokai Village
Homeland Name: Yokai Village
Homeland Region: Japan
Homeland Location: Kyoto
Homeland Appearance:
Homeland Description: The village looks like a traditional Japanese location, though more preserved and also well hidden through a protective mist that envelopes the outskirts of the village.
Monsters Living Here: Jorogumo, Tsuchigumo, Youko, Onimodoki
Monster History/Culture: For many centuries, the different yokai that live in Japan come and go from this place as a refuge for them to settle in safely from the rest of the populous. They are traditional in their practices within the realm of modern Japanese culture, though there are exceptions to this. They carry a sense of communion with one another, like a small-town sort of mind. Whatever happens in the village spreads quickly through mouths and ears, and all who live here treasure a peaceful way of dealing with problems. Though if anyone gets into danger, the residents won't hesitate to do everything in their power to protect their people.
