Pitch: CHRIS was created to be the perfect caretaker, protector, and teacher for our younger members of society. However, his large size and inability to emote properly made him intimidating to children and adults alike, thus making him obsolete.

Background: The Science and Health Affiliation for Progress and Evolution work tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone; not just in Buster City but around the world. Now, they have finally manage to do what was thought impossible. They have made a perfectly synthesized recreation of the workings of a human mind. A completely human acting and thinking A.I. with emotions and mostly free will (with some minor fail safes just in case). There were just a few minor setbacks to his design.
CHRIS was meant to be the perfect caretaker, teacher, and protector for the children of the world; specifically for children who were left without guardians for whatever reasons may occur. There was just one problem; children seemed to hate and fear him. He was programed with quite a lot of technology built inside him; including quite a few weapons and barriers to be used in case of emergency to protect the children. This meant in order to fit it all he had to have a rather large and intimidating frame. That paired with an inability to show the emotions he was given to others well, instead having been accidently given a rather angry looking demeanor by accident, made it so the children interaction tests had less than satisfactory results. They were afraid of him. Petrified even. So CHRIS would be shut down like all the other prototypes and replaced with an android using the same A.I. design but a nicer looking model. That is, if the Guardian Alliance hadn’t caught wind of him first. They requested that SHAPE let them use CHRIS as part of their superhero alliance to protect the city; and the rest is history.
CHRIS quite likes his new arrangement with the Guardian Alliance; being used mostly for defensive maneuvers, evacuation protocols, and as backup for his fellow heroes. He works hard to help keep everyone safe. Most people who don’t know him still seem put off by him, which is very upsetting; but he still tries his hardest to fit in and help where he can.

Description: CHRIS was made to look like a man in his early 20s with dark, jet black hair, a slightly tan complexion, and golden amber eyes. He was given a slim, some-what muscular build to make him look more normal. This backfired when the necessary inner workings left him standing at a whopping 6”9, towering above the vast majority of the public. He often has a rather expressionless face on as well, making him very intimidating to most people.

Cell Phone: A standard smart phone. Its not entirely necessary for him to have, but it helps him blend in when he needs to be out and about

• Infinite Knowledge – CHRIS was meant to be a teacher, thus in order to be able to answer all questions and teach all age ranges he was given the ability to find information in the matter of seconds
• Durability – CHRIS is made of extremely durable alloys that are located just under the extremely realistic synthesized skin and hair. Nanobots allow for repairs to any part of the body almost instantly depending on the size of the damage.
• Self Repair – Incase of damages too large for the nanobots (like if an arm is completely destroyed or something) CHRIS has full knowledge of his own make up and knows how to rebuild, and repair himself.
• Perfect Memory – Anything and everything CHRIS observes is stored in his data bases. He can access it at any time with no effort at all.
• Technological Connections – In order to protect the children from cyber-threats, CHRIS is able connect to and keep track of the usage of any piece of technology within a ten foot radius. This feature also allows for a tracking ability, allowing him to track the location of any piece of technology within 800 miles so long as he knows an IP address or other form of identification for the device. The tracking feature can only be used on two devices at a time.
• Strength – CHRIS can lift about 2 tons. This was added to simulate crisis situations where parents have been known to gain enough strength from adrenaline to lift cars if their child is in crisis.
• X-Ray and Heat Vision – CHRIS can activate X-Ray vision to see through walls, and heat vision to pick up on heat sources. This was to ensure ease when keeping track of children.
• Barriers – CHRIS has 2 different types of barriers he can produce; a standard solid yet clear semispherical wall, and an electro-magnetic barrier that produces a high voltage shock when touched. Each has 3 different size settings; small (about ten people can fit under it), medium (fits a small, 1 story building), and large (fits a large, 5 story building). The larger the barrier the more brittle it is. The large size has shown that small explosive are able to break through with ease.
• Tasers – Both hands are equipped with built in tasers to nullify threats without killing them
• Laser Cannons – For real emergencies each hand can also turn into small a laser canon to completely dispose of life threats that prove impossible to take down otherwise
• Bomb Disposal – CHRIS has a cavity in his abdomen about the size of a large brief case that is made with same materials as bomb shelters. In case of a bomb threat, a small to medium size explosive can be placed in this cavity and allowed to go off inside him with very little to no damage or aftereffects.
