The 1014th sector of space, home of the H'lvenites, lay still and dormant as they ever have, with this sector being a surprisingly peaceful one. Its serenity has only been disrupted once, with the death of its Green Lantern and near-domination of H'lven, thankfully stopped by its newest protector, who just so happens to be a H'lvenite himself! This dashingly fast and silver-tongued protector would in fact be found upon one of the many, massive mountaintops of the planet, relaxing whilst simultaneously remaining vigilant for threats from beyond the atmospheric veil. He had missed his home-world, even after having spent so much time with the Lantern Corps.
Ch'p would sigh to himself as he'd rest against a small tree-trunk that had grown out of the mountainside, just gazing up at the skies above. Relaxing, but remaining vigilant, should he feel any disturbance entering the planet's vicinity. Whilst he would've preferably just dedicated himself fully to resting on a nice day such as this, he knew he had his duties as this world's, nay, whole SECTOR'S protector. So he could not fully relax at any time. Eventually though, he'd stand up and stretch a bit, his ring glowing as a field of brilliant emerald surrounds him, and he shoots off into the air, straight upward and through H'lven's atmosphere, until he ends up in space, and begins to survey the vastness before him...

As Ch'p stared upwards, a flash of purple streaked across the sky. Nothing would have triggered his senses, no strange object would have been felt entering the atmosphere. Yet there it was, like a shooting star, something several thousand miles up above the serene planet. Too far up to make out, but definitely something out of this world... A star system several billions of miles away. Astra had been briefed on her task, investigating what they theorised was a habitable planet, potentially containing an advanced civilisation. It was an exciting task, but then so was every adventure! Strapped into her bed back in Planetary, Astra released her concious self, astral projecting her body into the air and then shooting off into the skies above. It didn't take long. It never did, as her training had led her to a point of insane speeds beyond the cosmos. She flew through the inky void, past planets and systems, great nebulae and dustclouds that were too big to visualise. Before she even knew it, the planet was ahead. Astra's form was human, but different to her actual body, preparing her game-face for a potential meeting with a new civilisation. The world was lush, green and full of life. She soared through the atmosphere until she could survey the planet below. Astra felt a surge of happiness at the sight of an alien world. This truly would never get old!

Was that just his imagination...? No, there was definitely something closing up on his position, and the planet behind him. Ch'p's eyes narrow a bit as he watches the purple streak flashing past the sky, across the space above, and through the atmosphere. Whatever this was, though... it was odd. He did not feel any of his senses trigger, nor did he sense anything entering the atmosphere, even as he let his Ring slightly point at the object soaring ahead. Was it just some sort of spatial flare of energy? Possibly, but he did not want to take any chances. So, he'd let himself soar off towards the source of the light, flying at breakneck speeds until he was hovering just behind the source...
Only to find it weirdly human-looking, and made purely out of some astral energy. He actually stayed quiet behind Astra for a bit, just taking in what he was looking at, before...
"AHERM!"
He'd clear his throat loudly for this apparition to hear, if it had any hearing. But just in case, Ch'p would zip up in front of Astra as well, hovering in front of her and at eye-level with her.
"By the authority invested in me by the Green Lantern Corps, I ask that you identify yourself and state your business here!"

Astra came to a slow, fluid stop as something appeared before her. She had to blink, check what she was seeing. A squirrel, but dressed in the garb of Earth's Green Lantern? It was a staggering coincidence, but Planitary knew of so many extraterrestrial entities on and off Earth that it wasn't out of the ordinary. Astra smiled her warmest smile, took a deep breath (purely psychological, in this case) and lifted two fingers in a victory symbol. She was all professional, in her ambassador's hat and clogs.
"Hi! I come in peace! Are you the protector of this planet?"
There were weirder things than flying, talking squirrels, after all.

He was not really that impressed with how long it was taking her to assess the situation, thinking that she was probably trying to think of ways to worm herself out... but to Ch'p's surprise, she merely threw up a peace sign, and told him she had come in peace. Well, at least she seemed genuine. He'd tilt his head a bit, remaining vigilant, as he'd respond;
"Well, as a matter of fact, I am one of two protectors of, not just this planet, but this entire sector of the universe. We are both of the Green Lantern Corps, and it is our duty to safeguard and uphold law and order across the universe!"
He'd cross his arms as he kept looking up and down, assessing Astra's potential threat level, but relaxed as she seemed to be of no threat for now.
"But, this planet does happen to be my home of H'lven. So I take a personal stake in defending it. Now, answer me; what is your business here? Who sent you?"

"Green Lantern?"
Not a coincidence, for sure. Astra knew of the two who protected Earth, but Planetary hadn't said anything about an organisation. She smiled, warmly, seemingly unafraid of the underlying suspense that came from Ch'p.
"My name is Phantasm. I come from a small planet, and my role is just to explore and connect with other civilisations. So. Hi! On behalf of Earth, I greet you."
Astra cocked her head to one side, staring at the planet below them.
"H'lven. It looks beautiful from up here. Are all inhabitants of your planet like you?"

Ch'p would quirk up a brow when the mention of Earth came up. That was the planet where Hal Jordan was from, wasn't it? That bit intrigued him, it seems... but for now, he'd just focus on doing his job, as he'd answer her questions accordingly.
"Well, yes and no. I suppose since you're from Earth, I could put it like this; a lot of H'lvenites would look like 'rodents' of your planet, but that does include H'lvenites that look like me, yes."
He answers truthfully, before he looks down at the planet below the two of them as well. A twinge of pride was filled in him, and he even cracked a smile.
"It is a beautiful planet indeed. Though, I suppose a bit of bias is in that statement from me. It's where I was born after all."
Ch'p allowed himself a chuckle, before he'd look to Phantasm again.
"Well Phantasm, I'll say that your intentions here are benevolent enough. Forgive my earlier behavior, I am simply doing my duty as a Lantern."

"Oh, cute!"
It slipped out before she could stop herself, slapping a hand across her mouth. What kind of behaviour was that for an ambassador? Astra quickly bowed, a sign of wanting forgiveness.
"Sorry! I mean - the creatures you resemble from Earth are cute. No disrespect meant!"
She smiled at Ch'p with warmth and friendliness. Astra enjoyed this part of the job. Who wouldn't? Meeting new people filled her with an excited joy.
"It's okay, I mean - we have to be cautious, right? I don't hold it against you. I've had worse threats!"
Astra laughed, then turned her attention back to the planet. To the rolling green forests far below.
"It might be a bit presumptuous but... could I get a tour?"

"None taken! Trust me, it takes more to insult me."
Ch'p merely laughs off Phantasm's unintentional slip as he puts his hands on his hips, looking at her with a bit of a quirky smirk which seemed a bit unlike his uptight and rule-stickly behavior earlier. Maybe she had managed to warm up to him?
"Yeah, but usually I'm not THAT uptight! But whenever someone's at my porch, I can't help but to be a bit protective, you know? Comes with the territory. And speaking of-"
He turns to look down at H'lven and its sprawling, lush green forests too, giving Phantasm a side-ways look and a nod.
"Sure you can! I'll warn you though; lots of narrow forest-ground, and not a lot of open plains! You might get some looks, but it'll probably be fine so long as you stick by me!"
And then, he zooms off ahead of Astra, floating ahead of her as he flips over and 'rests' on his back while floating, arms behind his head and smirking over at her, as if goading her on to chase him!

Astra laughed as Ch'p floated away, now relaxed and at ease with her presence. She effortlessly followed, her body seemingly not making any effort to fly through the air. She twirled as she moved, taking in the grand expanse of the forests, the skies, and everything in between. Whatever goading Ch'p was making, it was hard to take her attention from this new world.
"How do you live? Does H'lven have cities? Transport? Are you space fairing? What's your main crop?"
Astra felt her mind whirring now, questions sparking inside her like fireflies. There was so much to learn, so much to see!

"Well, aren't you a flawless flyer, huh? Well, suppose I should be more professional anyway, heh."
Ch'p chuckled in a small amount of surprise as his goading seemed to not tear Astra's attention from the forest-laden world before her, bombarding him with questions as he'd just grin wide in surprise joy. It wasn't every day someone had this much interest in his world!
"Well, us H'lvenites just like to live hardy, simple lives, honestly. We're very much a secluded folk, staying away from other aliens and just living our lives! We have space-faring crafts, but we very rarely use them, if only for the occasional trade mission with other neighboring worlds. And we have cities, but not out in the open! That's for the farms and fields. Our homes and cities are all in the tree-tops before ya. Just stick your head down past the canopies and you'll see it, guaranteed!"

Astra shrugged, non-plussed by Ch'p's flattery, or playful goading. She was hesitant to explain her whole deal to him, as had been her instructions to keep a low profile. Yet he was friendly, and a Lantern to boot. Still, she reminded herself, you need to play it cool. He didn't need to know, just yet, that she wasn't flying, or that she wasn't technically even here at all.
"Lots of practice. Where I'm from, there are plenty of useful mentors for this kind of thing! I've learnt from some of the best that my planet has to offer."
Astra spun around, facing straight down to the canopies below. Her eyes widened with an adventurous glimmer.
"How amazing! An entire civilization living in an arboreal habitat. I have to see this! If... that's okay, Ch'p?"
She turned to the small Lanturn, a sheepish smile on her lips. Astra had a curious heart and mind, and it always came alive during her first moments on a new planet.
