Servent Info
Servent Class: Saber
Alias: Gaius.
True Name: Julius Caesar
Legend: Caesar; Orater, Statesman, General of the Roman Republic. Surviving a civil war in his early life, Caesar went on to become a popular statesman and eventually a general. Personally leading the Tenth Legion, he fought his way through Hispania and Gaul, Conquering the latter in the name of the Republic, before famously leading his army across the Rubicon to seize control of Rome from Pompey and defeating his rival in a civil war that laid the foundations for the Roman Empire. Eventually, like all humans, he died, at the hands of his friend Brutus in a concerted attack inside the Roman Senate.
Personality: Caesar is generally a pleasant fellow, quick to smile and laugh - and why wouldn't he when he's having fun - and he claims that every day he spends in the world he enjoys is something to be celebrated. He's something of a womaniser, and will often try to talk up a good looking woman, even if for whatever reason he ends up locked in combat with them. At times he can be sarcastic - especially around Waver - when he's not happy with how someone is conducting themselves. This sarcasm however often contains advice, though he won't admit it.
Servant Appearance:
Casual Appearance:
Normal Weapon/s of Choice: Gaius actually fights with his Noble Phantasm pair, though in a depowered state. Only when he chooses to do so do they activate.
Noble Phantasm: Gaius possesses two Noble Phantasms that act as a pair. The first of which is a shining Gladius, etched with a single phrase in Latin which translates to "Let the Dice Fly High", hinting at its name, The Rubicon. When Gaius strikes with it, it carries the force of a full Roman Legion. The shield, as the counterpart of the Gladius, possesses the full strength of a Roman Legion behind it when it is struck, and is called Marius. Both are anti-army class.

Name: Lord El-Melloi the II, Waver Velvet
Nickname: Waver
Age: 29
Gender: Male
History:
Waver was born as the third generation of an undistinguished line of magi, and was the first to seriously practice the art of magecraft. When his parents passed away due to illness, he sold the entirety of his and their possessions to pay for his tuition at the Clocktower, with nothing left over. However, his time there was almost entirely spent in hardship and failure, until the age of nineteen, whereafter having his theory on improving a mage's power through hard work and effort rather than heirs he stole an item intended for Lord El Melloi and set off for Japan to take part in the fourth holy grail war.
Summoning a servant - Alexander the Great, or Iksander, as he is otherwise known - Waver proved that while he was not strong in power in any way, he was indeed a contender. Riding together with the King of Conquerors, he slowly built up a self confidence and self respect that would accompany him for the rest of his life, and during Iksander's final moments, he acknowledged the servant as his King.
After the war, Waver stayed in Japan for some time, living with the family he had originally tricked into taking him in - not as a stranger, but as a welcome member of their family. Eventually however, he returned to England. Here, he found that the previous El Melloi's death - having died in the Grail War - had brought the family to ruin. Waver, still somewhat determined to prove himself, collected the late El Melloi's works and collated them into a single tome. The proper heir to the family, recognizing his achievements and contribution to the family and his accidental hand in El Melloi's death, forces him to take up the title of Lord El Melloi the Second.
Throughout the next decade, Waver advanced in rank and prestige until he became recognized as a brilliant professor, with an eye for talent and strength despite the lack of his own, but he cared little for it, frustrated that he couldn't advance in rank any further. With the advent of the chaos of the new Grail War. Waver acquired another Servant for himself. Not wishing to raise Iksander again and relive painful memories, he instead acquired a laurel wreath, and summoned Gaius Julius Caesar, General and Dictator of the Roman Republic.
Personality: Waver is an almost entirely serious individual, his expression rarely changing from one of stern indifference and annoyance. Not much interests him beyond his own work. This often means he comes off as abrasive or at the very least unpleasant to talk to. Rarely, usually when he's engrossed in yet another strategy game, he'll soften and be somewhat amicable.
Preferred Magic Style: Alchemy

The sound of constant, erratic clicking was the only noise heard in the room for a long while, occasionally punctuated by grunts of annoyance and whoops of celebration. The two occupants had been at this at hours, locked in a struggle that had them back to back but face to face. Each was huddled in front of a screen, their hands gripping computer mouse tightly as they rapidly moved to counter each other in an endless dance of warfare. One, a lanky Englishman dressed in shorts and a shirt, cheered as his opponent slipped, giving him the perfect strike.
“Sloppy! Just sloppy! You call yourself a General?" he taunted, sending in a cavalry charge to run down a group of archers.
On the other side of the room, his opponent's grip on the mouse tightened as he snarled at his own mistake. He was dressed like a bartender, a paid of sunglasses poking out of his breast pocket, and the look on his face gave one the impression he didn't like to be bothered. "Guh, if this was a real battle those auxilleries of yours would have broken already."
Waver Velvet smiled. While that may have been true in the distant past, it was not true here. With a final click, he sat back, watching as the entire opposing army broke before him. “ And that, is game, set match. Final score; fifty to forty nine my way."
At the opposite computer, Gaius Julius Caesar stood. “I never should have agreed to this" he muttered, before cracking a grin. "Next time I'll crack your heavy infantry in two."
Waver shrugged, reaching for a pair of dress pants. "It's almost time, we're meeting with her soon. Are you going to be wearing that?" he asked.
Gaius nodded. "I still don't see why you answer to her. By all rights you should command the house."
“By all Roman rights," Waver replied, "not by today's rights. She controls the house, and I'm just the man who nearly destroyed it."
"And saved it, from what I hear. Otherwise, why else would you have that title, Lord El Melloi" Gaius shot back, intentionally leaving off the final part of the title. They had known each other only a couple weeks, but he had learned quickly what his Master liked and disliked.
“Lord El Melloi the Second." Waver barked, a bit too harshly the Englishman realized. "I only fixed what I was responsible for." Pulling on the pants, he started on his vest. "I caused the death of the previous Lord El Melloi, through my reckless desire to prove myself."
Gaius remained quiet, instead opting to pour himself some wine. "I shall await you in the hall" he muttered, before pushing his way through the large doors to the room. Outside, he gave the metal maid a slight nod - never knew what could set it off.
Waver, meanwhile, finished with the last of his clothes, approached a small cabinet, set off to the side. Opening it, he gingerly ran his hand over the only item inside. "Live..." he whispered, before closing it. Today was a new day, and a new day meant new experiences. That was something his King would want.
Inside the cabinet, the item rested peacefully. A memento from Waver's past.
A small scrap of a red cloak.
