Hoshi is 1/4 Japanese and a mix of ancestry from her parents due to their ancestors being descended from a large number of United States personnel that decided to stay in Japan after the bases were shut down. She stands at 6 feet tall but is on the light side in terms of weight. She has an athletic body like a gymnast or swimmer, having a very extremely defined muscles under her typically thick but tight clothes clothes. She only has a bit of squish to her backside and boobs, mostly due to eating sweets. Hoshi has shaggy bright purple hair that takes on an incandescent glow as she heats up. Her eyes are a beautiful sky blue that make her stand out in a crowd. She is generally regarded as having a cute face, at least when she is cool and in her normally bubbly mood.
S2: Hoshi worked her butt off and bulked hard to build herself up for the struggles that came for being a pro. It's more apparent in her arms.
Civilian Clothes: She has several tight fitting jumpers and bodysuits made of thick temperature resistant mesh as most fabrics combust even at the lower end of her powers. Her swimsuits are made of conventional materials.

Her suit is made out of an experimental material designed to withstand the extreme temperature of her body mainly in the from of a flexible bodysuit and armored torso. Her suit exposes her arms staring at the shoulder and her legs below the knees where it connects to her boots. A large vent like structure is located on the back of her central body armor, this regulates her temperature from accidentally reaching a temperature that could potentially melt her suit. It bleeds off the heat from her body via thermal sinks and cooling channels when she gets too hot to handle. She also has gauntlets designed to contain and alert others to whenever she is channeling enormous amounts of heat.
However she can operate with just the undersuit, with black body radiation tags that serve as indicators of her body temperature, glowing more brightly as she heats up.
Personality
Bad Habits: Very physically affectionate, often feeling people up, especially if they're buff or busty. Often bumps into people when distracted or backs into them. Often found in yoga poses or odd places that one might not normally be. When hot in temperature she gets mean.
Goal: To be a shining beacon of heroism that boldly dives into danger.
General Personality: Hoshi the energetic adorable scatterbrain has a love of anime, stuffed animals, sweets of all sorts and showing physical affection such as hugs and headpats. On her day to day, she enjoys using the early hours of her morning running or doing yoga before stopping for breakfast or early lunch. Most of her free days are spent goofing around general area of Tokyo, exploring new hobbies and making new friends. Hoshi mainly prefers the companionship of women, mainly liking ones that are either physically or mentally strong, but often attracts the attention of other like minded kind souls.
However as her body heats up to increasingly hotter temperatures, she gets a bit of a hotter head. She gets increasingly brash and aggressive, not to mention a bit foul mouthed. At higher temperatures she might even have some sadistic tendencies.

History: Hoshi's mother Selene is descended from a number of United States Marines that opted to stay in Japan when quirks effectively flipped society over. While Selene was born in Okinawa, she moved to Kyushu to pursue a career as a Hero. She didn't have a flashy quirk like some of her classmates but was able to walk through fire like it was cool breeze, quickly making it her goal to be a specialized hero for fire rescue, Firewalker. Her father Hikaru was also born from a family of American origins who returned to Japan, though he hailed from the mainland. He later pursuing a career as a lower tier fire hero which is how he met Selene.
Although they never married, Hoshi was born in the midst of Selene's career picking up, Hikaru opted to be a stay at home Father and pamper Hoshi's every needs back at their private family home in Okinawa. Hoshi learned both traditional Japanese culture though her Father's Japanese mother and American traditions from the rest. She was always a friendly and curious child at least until her quirk came to be. When she would heat up, her moods would swing into some aggressive tendencies that frightened other children, often resulting in her having a bucket of ice water on hand to be cooled off.
Hoshi was always fascinated by her mother's job, her eyes lighting up over the stories of heroic rescues in blazing infernos. Although her parents tried to steer her away from pursuing hero work, she was always happy when going on about what she would do. Although reluctant at first, they let Hoshi apply to U.A. High as a test of her control, honestly surprised when she was accepted after several robots were turned into piles of molten slag without incidence. She had to carefully learn to regulate her powers and temper, even learning some relaxing things like meditation or yoga to stem the fire in her soul. In the end, Hoshi became infamous as UA's resident hugger and yoga guru, advocating peace of mind and snuggles while trying to casually brush off how her quirk makes her somewhat nasty.
S2: Hoshi spent most of her 3rd and final year at UA training herself for the day she would hit the streets as a Pro. Refining her techniques, practicing her hand to hand combat and most importantly to her... pumping iron. She spent every day with a smile on her face, offering to help others, giving them tips or baking delicious cookies from old family recipes. Hoshi had a last hurrah with her fellow students at camp, helping several of them survive the sudden blizzard, suffice to say she graduated with a smile. When Hotspot first hit the streets, she hit like a meteor. She burned brightly and managed to squeeze into the top 100 at rank 69.

This radiation heats up an increasingly larger area the hotter she gets over time, not to mention parts of her body taking on an incandescent glow depending on her output. Objects in proximity to her will slowly heat up via convection in the air, some even combusting or starting to melt if hot enough. An closed area such as a tunnel or building can quickly become a furnace or an inferno. She can also act as a thermal exchange, her body able to absorb the energy from a source of extreme heat. However her primary use for her power is focusing this heat into her hands, making them hot enough to cause most metals to rapidly heat up or even liquefy. Hoshi can superheat air to create plasma in her hands for special attacks. As she gets hotter, her normally nice personality melts into a fiery one. She can purposely vent her internal heat with a long exhales.
Supermoves:
Atomic Palm: For a few seconds, Hoshi makes her hands as hot as she possibly can, causing the air around her fingers to turn into an ideally conductive plasma for thermal energy. At this level of power she could easily destroy any barrier given enough time. Hoshi totally didn't get the idea from an old anime about giant robots fighting in a tournament between nations.
Plasma Bullet: Hoshi balls up her hands to create a small furnace, even giving it additional air to create an orb of concentrated plasma. She can then pitch it like a baseball, causing it to explode after a few seconds of leaving her grasp. It rapidly expands until it loses containment, releasing its fiery heat in a small explosion.
Rocket Boost: Hoshi creates a downward facing bowl of air in her hands that slowly builds up to an explosive conclusion, giving her the ability to boost herself several feet into the air.
Plasma Blade: By clenching her fists but leaving an air gap, Hoshi can direct air through her hands to create a focused superheated pillar of air. Useless as an actual sword as it has no physical mass to it, meant more for precision cutting.
Flare: Similar to her Plasma Bullet, Hoshi balls up her hands to create a nexus of superheated air. She then brings it close to her face and blows through the supercritical heated air to create a stream of plasma like a flamethrower, though its range is extremely limited due to her lungs providing the influx of additional air.
Drawbacks:
Hoshi can't focus her energy to generate and build up an ideal amount of heat when moving faster than a brisk pace in an open area. A large amount of water can effectively quench her heat so long as it is sustained (not a light drizzle of rain or a simple yard sprinkler that she can easily vaporize) though she could cause a pipeline full of water to vaporize if she gets her superheated hands on it. Being placed in a large body of water will severely reduce her ability to generate a large amount of heat because of water being an excellent moderator of heat. Being directly blasted with ice powers will cool her down but won't fully quench her built up heat if she's hot enough.
Fighting Style: Hoshi is slow and methodical about how she fights, not being able to generate an intense nexus of heat in fast moving landscape. She chooses her battlefields, opting for ones that are not highly flammable or too exposed.
