Lapis a young woman in her early 20s has a somewhat cute visage despite her intense personality. She has tidy short light blue hair with somewhat long bangs. Her eyes are an rich blue color, they often add to her intense stares at lower ranking soldiers or portray confidence and respect towards superior officers. Height wise, Lapis is 5'4" and she weighs 130 pounds. Lapis has a rather shapely but athletic physique from staying in shape.
Her uniform is light blue in color and is sleeveless. Her pilot suit is a similar color.
Personality:
Lapis is a strong willed woman with a passion for Axis's goals. She comes across as cold but intense, her loyalty is unwavering in the cause... she won't hesitate to follow an order given by Lady Haman. Lapis does not like soldiers that are lacking in their duties or manners and will often berate them at every turn until they shape up. She does not like being called a luny or whatever insult people come up with for Lunarians.
History:
Lapis was born on October 12th, 0067 to two Anaheim Electronics engineers in the Lunar city of Granada. From a young age she was surrounded by various forms of machines and technology. When public outcry arrived in Granada, soldiers were deployed to keep the peace. In the protests, her aunt who was visiting at the time ended up one of the victims killed in the crossfire when it all went out of control. Her parents were among those that welcomed Zeon's takeover, even offering their services as mechanics. Lapis herself joined the Zeon youth, serving the public and Zeon to report any dissidents. On occasion, she would help out her parents at their job. In the final days of the war, Lapis's uncle who was a Zeon official at Granada offered to take the 3 of them to Axis in a shuttle. Her father stayed behind to run off and join the Delaz Fleet, while Lapis and her mother went to Axis. Axis was rough at first, it was overcrowded and there were several health issues. Lapis, being a member of the Zeon youth helped the government police the citizens until things calmed down.
Lapis and her mother went along with the Axis Advance Fleet, hoping to reconnect with her father. But things turned out for the worst, her father was killed when the Federation's Solar System was used against the Delaz Fleet. It hardened Lapis and made her cold on the journey back. By time they returned, Moussa had been added to Axis's structure, alleviating the cramped space even with the Delaz survivors. Her mother was depressed, she fell into her work... even earning a promotion for it. Lapis wanting to give her mother space began to help out with maintaining the exterior of the colony in a Petite MS. Sometimes she and the other workers would play chicken with nearby asteroids or have races.
It didn't go unnoticed that they were messing around with equipment, around her 16th birthday the military drafted Lapis and several of her new friends. Some of them weren't cut out for the real deal, but Lapis excelled... almost enjoying it. She didn't let her excitement muddle her composure though and it showed when she later was given the opportunity to become an officer. She was always on the edge of her seat when Lady Haman spoke... always hoping that they would get something new to do. There was something about the leader of Axis that made Lapis want to follow her every word, she would probably die for her if told to do so. When she was assigned to be in the 1st Advanced Recon Fleet, her heart fluttered... perhaps her thoughts were heard?
