Appearance
Visual Appearance:
Physical Appearance: Han is a short boy at 5’5'' with a strong muscular frame, weighing around 130lbs. He has very striking features with his spiky golden hair, and his equally bright golden eyes that are more than often swimming with confidence and mischief. His ears are large and round, obvious simian traits from his quirk, however they seem oddly fitting with his strong and handsome face, Han himself often saying he has a heroic look to him. Han’s skin is lightly sun-kissed, but only enough to give a little bit of warmth to it. From years of martial arts practice, Han has toughened and slightly scarred knuckles, with a few smaller nicks and cuts visible across his forearms. Coming from the base of his spine is one of the more odd features, a monkey’s tail with fur as golden as his hair, similar golden fur can also be found growing from around his shoulders and upper back to the base of his neck, this patch of fur thins down into a trail that goes down his spine to his tail.
Civilian Clothes: Considering his often active lifestyle, Han is nearly always in some form of activewear. He opts for running shoes that are light and provide good cushioning, as well as usually wearing a pair of joggers or shorts if the weather is nice enough. Some sort of tee shirt under a track jacket or hoodie usually.
Hero Outfit: Han’s hero outfit looks like something far more traditional. The top is a sort of deep red monk’s robe with a thick band of black trimming the sleeves, the hem, and the shoulders. Within the black cloth are designs done in golden thread. There is a green sash around his waist that is held by a golden belt, this also happens to hold the robe closed. Ever the fan of the color, Han wears many gold bracelets; bangles, and chains alike. His pants are a pair of plain black martial arts pants tucked into gold shin-guards, then some simple fighting shoes.
Personality
Bad Habits: Han is a bit of a boastful individual who can come off as a bit arrogant. He means well, but doesn’t have the best filter in the world.
Goal: “That’s easy. I wanna be a legendary pro that the whole world knows about”
General Personality: Han is a fiercely determined kid who has a hot flame always alight within him, one that never seems to dim, and it is easily visible in him at most points in time. When Han enters a room, everyone is probably gonna know, there’s not much quiet about him by any means. Han’s boisterous nature is a reflection of his father’s, loving to boast and proclaim himself the best, or challenge others to prove himself the best if it is in question. A troublemaker of grand proportions, it’s hard to get Han to abide by rules for too long, he finds them very confining and bothersome, getting in trouble is practically a passtime for him, making a bit of mischief is usually guaranteed to get him noticed. It seems he can’t quite take what he dishes out all the time though, prone to anger when he’s upstaged or poked at by others. That hot head of his is bound to get him in the most trouble. Of course he’s fiercely loyal to the people around him, he just wants to be the head of the pack and prove that they can rely on him. Han ultimately means well, and wants to be liked by his peers, he’s just got a pretty unrefined way of showing it.

History:
When two pros come together and have a child, the progeny is often a figure under scrutiny by the public eye. Expected to be powerful, heroic, and amazing. Han would say he is all of these things, and more. His father is a relatively well known hero and martial artist in China, while his mother boasted a more famous title as a pro hero as a part of The Heavens, as well as being a famous martial artist. According to them, they met after his mother swept the floor with his father, a story that always gets a good laugh out of Han no matter how true it was (It is 100% true). As a child, Han was always around martial arts and heroics, both were always on his mind as he grew up. As soon as he was old enough Han began to take lessons from his parents in whatever martial arts they were willing to teach, and boy oh boy was he a ravenous student. He didn’t pull his punches, and always pushed himself more than either of his parents would. Once his quirk began to manifest, that was quickly added to his schedule of training and practice, taking lessons in understanding the flow of chi from his mother alongside the martial arts training he received from both her and his father. It wasn’t something he excelled in, especially when it came to the areas of internal balance, but he picked up the gist of it enough to fine tune the control of his chi.
Though he saw his parents often enough, he did still feel the weight of their absences when they were doing hero work. While Han was loath to show it, or admit it, he was always worried that one or both of them wouldn’t make it back alive…he didn’t like to think about that possibility much, throwing himself into training as a distraction. Something that would become a common occurrence for him as an escape tactic when things were too hard for him to face head on emotionally. He had a multitude of heroes to help him through these times though, many of his mother’s fellow heroes in The Heavens were always willing to help watch him should the need come up, all of them had so many stories about his mother and father’s heroics, and their own heroics, complete with tips for when he would become the next great hero of his time! Han took it all in like a fish to water, recreating fights in his head, or as games played in the yard with friends. He couldn’t wait to start hero school one day, so that he could help his parents save the day.
He remembers vividly the first time he watched his country's #1 hero, Red Head, on the scene when he and his mother were walking in the city. It was a sight to behold, Han already knew without the shadow of a doubt that he wanted to be one of the world's best one day, but something about that battle he witnessed set his heart ablaze with an even stronger drive. Han wanted to be noticed by heroes like that, to be acknowledged as the best by someone at that tier.
While he was doing chi training with his mother, specifically on the visualization of it to manifest your intent, he found that his next punch formed a blast of golden fire which put a sizable hole in the tree in front of him, leaving the two blinking in surprise. It was the start of a whole new kind of training for him, redoubling the efforts in chi training to discover the limits to this flame. This was how he unleashed the Sun within him. This training was intense, and was the first time that he felt as though his limits were being pushed beyond anything he’d grasped for. It was in the midst of sparring with both of his parents, they were of course taking it easy on him, but they still fought as a team and used abilities far beyond his. In this assault he attempted to create a more focused attack with the golden flames at his disposal, the result was instead a powerful and painful transformation as every pathway of chi in his body was flooded with the powerful golden flames, sending him into a near uncontrolled frenzy of attacks against the pair, enough so that they had to go on the defensive for the minute of attack that ensued. Han hardly remembered any of it besides the click that was made when the Sun awakened, something about his quirk just made more sense to him after that, he could feel the flow more readily, he could access it more easily, it was the biggest step he had ever made with regards to truly understanding his quirk.
That sense of progress slowed quickly though, the world was beginning to turn darker again, and his family felt more than just a sting of that. In a harrowing battle, his mother did what every hero fears, she crossed the line and killed the villain she faced. Lu Bu, Demon Boar. In the aftermath he saw very little of her, she very quickly left, off to be rehabilitated by working with a far less combat oriented Hero Agency, The Koriban House of Hope (KHH) in Japan. With Han coming up to move from one tier of schooling to another, he wanted to be closer to his mother in the wake of the drama, being away from her family had to be hard for all of them…even if Han tried to play the tough guy and not show it. It took very little convincing to his father that he should go to Japan to be with her, especially considering that she would be a far better influence on his fiery nature than his similarly natured father would be, who do you think helped temper him after all? Though the year had already started somewhat, Han wanted to enroll at U.A. for his continued hero training. If he was going to make a real legend, that seemed like the right place, and this absolutely seemed like the right time.
It came time for the exam, Han was ready for whatever the school would throw at him. The mock city was in distress against an invasion of destructive robots, and the Prince was there to save the day in a flashy way! It was just the sort of thing he excelled at, moving at breakneck speeds to pummel and shine. Of course, he got a bit…distracted. The big bad, the zero point bot, the gargantuan challenge that had no point to go after except bragging rights. That was all the reason Han needed to go at it, he had no other choice in the face of his golden ego.
After only getting a total of 15 points in other downed bots, Han threw himself against the immovable object like it was his final goal on earth. Needless to say, he failed in taking the behemoth down, but he did manage to take a whole arm off, as well as several plates of armor before the time was up. Han passed out shortly after, having exhausted his chi and all other physical energy. To Han it was a failure, but the teachers were impressed with what damage he was able to do, all while minimizing damage to the city around. He didn't take the gold medal, but Han definitely made waves with his entrance to the foreign land. It could only be better from here.
Quirk
Name: Journey to The West
Quirk Type: Emitter
Power:
Han’s quirk allows him to tap into, and manipulate his chi for varying effects; both internal, and external. The main, and most powerful, of his abilities is being able to direct the flow of chi and enhance his physical capabilities. Though he has had the most practice with this aspect of his quirk, he is still only able to enhance one of the following at a time; senses, strength, agility, or durability. The more he focuses his chi on one aspect, the more powerful the effect. Example; Should he enhance the strength in his arms specifically, he will be far stronger than if he enhanced his whole body. Similarly, should he enhance his sight specifically then he’d have much greater effects than if he focused on his hearing as well as his sight.
Most recently he has learned how to create his chi as a physical manifestation, which appears as golden flames. Currently he is only able to produce small bursts of this flame from his palms, or from his feet when he kicks, finally as a sort of breath attack if he holds his hand in an ‘O shape in front of his mouth.
OOC Key
Han’s physical enhancements consume about 1/16th of his chi by measure of his tail. Should he augment himself in more than one area for any of his physical capabilities; arms and legs for strength, hearing and sight for senses, etc. This would consume 2/16ths or 1/8th.
The golden flame abilities are about 2x as draining on his energy by this scale
Supermoves:
The Awakened Sun: Drawing all of his chi to his core, Han has discovered a powerful transformation wherein his chi is concentrated and overflows from his body, making his hair, tail, and eyes glow with a golden light, while his skin turns a dark red and black from the intense heat he exudes.
While in this form he has greatly enhanced physical capabilities in; strength, speed, and durability. Meanwhile, he is able to wreath parts of his body in his golden flames to add to his destructive power in melee combat, or use the same fire attacks he boasts regularly. He is only able to maintain this form for a maximum of one minute (4 posts)before the strong flame burns out and leaves him practically defenseless. He’s never used this ability publicly due to this.
Drawbacks: As Han uses his quirk, the golden fur on his tail will slowly turn black starting at the tip, the tail acting as a gauge of sorts. Should he reach the base of his spine, he will be unable to use the golden flame ability at all, the remaining chi within him only able to be used to severely diminished effect when it comes to enhancing his physical capabilities. After using up that much energy, he only has a short amount of time before most of his strength leaves him, making that last bit of manipulation only an escape tactic.
When he uses the Awakened Sun ability, all of his hair will turn black for a full day as his chi is nearly fully depleted, requiring a day’s rest to recover. During this time he is as weak as a kitten, hardly able to walk without the use of a cane.
An over all drawback to his quirk is that his temperature rises higher and higher as the energy is used up, attacks with the golden flame spike his temperature far more drastically. Raising his temperature too high can be extremely dangerous for his health if exposed for too long.
Recovering his chi simply takes time and rest, certain foods can help however only marginally. The only way that Han has found to recover his chi notably faster is through the practice of meditation, something he is not very suited to, much to his mother’s dismay.
Fighting Style: Han’s fighting style is mostly derived from Wing Chun, and Shaolin Kung-Fu. For the most part he likes to fight in melee with his hands and feet, staying rather mobile all the while, however he is very adept at wielding a staff as a weapon as well.
