Han always moved with the same boundless and radiant energy that his quirk came with, his sunny moods were hard to put a cloud on (though once that cloud was there, prepare for stormy weather). The newly enrolled UA student was in the school tracksuit with the jacket half way zipped, a red shirt depicting "The Heavens" showing underneath, and the sleeves were pushed up just under the elbow. He had his hands in his pockets and lightly jogged along one of the campus walkways just getting the sights and feel for the place in a bit, this was gonna be his home for a while after all. The rambunctious teen's smile surged a bit as he sped up his jog to a light sprint, jumping and doing a handspring towards a tree which he vaulted off the trunk of and hooked a leg around a branch to hang upside down, his tail wrapped around it and he released with his leg "looks good upside down, too" looking at the main building while snickering to himself. There was a lot of opportunity at a place like this for a guy like him to shine, he just had to show that he was as good as he thought.
The boy pulled out his phone and opened the camera, throwing up a peace sign and grinning wide for the picture he snapped "hell yeah, that's great!" Han typed out a quick message and sent the picture to his mom.
Can't wait to make you n' pops proud! I'll see you soon ma!
So far he hadn't done much but explore, he was surprised he hadn't run into anyone fun to chat up (or mess with) maybe that was next on his list? Making a bit of trouble to mix things up wasn't the worst thing he could do. Mostly though? He wanted to get to know who was in his class that would be up for the challenge. Any challenge.

Miyuki hadn't been at U.A. long, but already he felt like a bit of an outsider. The few interactions he had had so far hadn't exactly gone well, and the ones that hadn't gone un-well were more confusing than anything else. He wasn't sure what it was about the Heights, but they felt so approachable compared to kids his age. Maybe it had something to do with the dragon quirks, maybe it was because they had raised him. Whatever it was, that enigma hung over Miyuki like a grim cloud. He smiled even less than usual, and had been meandering around the campus with little rhyme or reason. He wasn't trying to avoid people, but he also didn't make any effort to join people he saw hanging around.
That is, until he had been woken up from a nap he had settled into under one of the courtyard trees. He shook awake, briefly flailing his arms as if to catch himself. When it was clear that no one was around (at first) to have disturbed him like that or to be playing some kind of prank, he sat up, relieved... then, he looked up, and saw what - or who - had stirred him from his slumber in the first place. He... he had never seen anyone like that beore, actually. Sure, Mutant Quirks could be all different kinds of animals, but monkeys had never occurred to Miyuki before. More to the point, he looked... well, "different". He wasn't sure what that meant beyond the word popping into his head in that moment. These various questions bouncing around in Miyuki's mind kept him from actually trying to speak to the guy to figure out what was going on, so he just... stared. Rather absent-mindedly. He was still waking up, and rather taken aback by this set of circumstances.
U.A. continued to surprise him, it seemed.

Han wasn't inattentive by any means, but he definitely hadn't done a full 360 check of the tree he had chosen to hang from before vaulting up into the branches. Looking down, he cocked his head when he saw the strange reptilian boy staring up at him with a bewildered expression. So, Han just brought up a hand, waving at the boy while grinning and said "Sup!" as casually as any other greeting "guess I mighta' woken you up. Sorry 'bout that. I'm Han, class 1-B! Just moved here actually! You a local?" there was very little stopping for breath when he started going, low energy wasn't in his wheelhouse.
"So I gotta ask, are you like a serpent or sumthin? You look like a badass! My favorite legend fights a dragon, but y'know I think having a dragon for a pal sounds way cooler! Guess I need to find an ox too. Know anyone like that?" finally stopping with a quizical look on his face, waiting for his new acquaintance's responses to the rapidfire burst of questions and statements. It very likely didn't even occur to Han that the other boy would be slow on the uptake since he had just woken up abruptly from a nap. At least he apologized, that wasn't always something he thought of either, very clearly an intense personality to compete with.

Miyuki blinked, twice. He slowly raised a hand to meet Han's gesture. He was still a little shaken, but not so much that he wasn't unable to greet a... well, he wasn't a stranger anymore. In fact...
"Uhh... Miyuki. I'm Miyuki. And, yeah, sorta. I'm-"
The boy stopped himself. That was a lot to answer all at once. He scrambled to his feet while he gathered his thoughts. He started slapping his claw fingers into the palm of his other hand as he counted off what he said. "I'm from…” His snout scrunched up in concentration. ”I’m from… Hosu. A couple cities over. I'm also in class 1-B. I guess I'm like a... sir-pant? That's a dragon, right? I, uhh... dunno anything about an ox. What's that?"
Miyuki took a deep breath. He wasn't sure if he had ever said that much, never mind to someone he had just met. It was because of this that Miyuki did not try to give a follow-up to that. It was remarkable that he had the energy to respond to all of that in the first place.

Han's exceedingly fast moving mouth and mind barely processed that Miyuki had started responding to him, the words did eventually find their way to the part of his brain that would tell him hey, the guy said something that something happened to be his name.
"Miyuki? Ahhh...that means...good fortune? I gotta practice my Japanese still, mom tells me I've got a lot to learn"
A hearty chuckle escaped his mouth while he swung a few times from the branch to get momentum, releasing his grasp on the tree and flipping to land standing by the side of the tree a few feet from Miyuki.
"Oh cool! Good thing I met someone from my class here! So yeah, that's like a type of dragon. At least here and back home, the ones in England are more like big angry lizards with wings. I think ours are cooler though. An Ox is like a bigger cow, with horns" putting two fingers up by the sides of his head like bull horns "See, there's this old old story about a guy called Sun Wukong, he's the monkey king. In his story he's against the Bull Demon King...he's also called the Ox King sometimes. But he gets a bunch of cool magic things from the Dragon King! He actually had a name, it was....Au Guang I think" an immediate dive into something that was clearly fascinating to Han.
