It was a beautiful day! A perfect day to just relax and chill on the beach. It was a nice beach, and it seemed many other people had the same idea as she did.
"What a beautiful day!"
She mused mostly to herself. She sighed content, but she couldnt stay still for too long! These citizens were practically begging to be messed with! She could hear them whisper in her ear and it was too much to resist!
Out of nowhere, the small girl shrank even smaller, she was barely visible as she was now and as it happened, grass was growing wildly, roots were protruding from the ground and flowerstems were wrapping themselves around people. The screams that soon accompanied was like music to her ears, and the beautiful beach was soon turned into an overgrown jungle. People were running any which way trying to avoid the ensaring plants while others screamed for help, desperate for escape.

When she learnt that Musutafu had it's own beach, Umi had been anxiously waiting for a chance to visit. Between classes, she found time to don her swimsuit, grab a towel and make to the sand, marvelling in the size of the city and the condition of the beach. She spent the morning in and out of the waves, practicing her movements and swimming lengths up and down the surf.
It was with shock that she rose from one deep dive, greeted not with a golden beach but a great forest instead! Umi couldn't understand what she was seeing, but there were screams of fear from within. Was this a villain attack? She couldn't spot any heroes from the water, but knew she couldn't risk fighting a villain without her license... still, there were civilians in danger. The very least she could do was help them.
Umi swiftly made her way to short, where plants had erupted and wrapped themselves around people. She rushed across to the nearest vine, grabbing it with both hands and tearing it from the ground with a mighty heave! As it fell, she grabbed a woman who had fallen from its grasp, placing her gently in the surf.
"Get away from the shore! The plants might not like the salt water."
She made her way to the next, grabbing as many civilians as she could from the nasty, grasping vines.

Chaos! Screams! Confusion! She was bound to have attracted some kind attention at some point. Faint sounds of laughter could barely be heard, detectable only to those who had heightened hearing but where was this laughter coming from?
A good call was made when those at close to the shore was told to swim away from it but people also couldnt swim indefintely..... most people couldnt anyway. The plants werent chasing those going into deeper waters but multiple civilians who were on land were still at risk.
The arrival of Blue shook things up, and for Nymph the fun was truly beginning
"Im about to have a whale of a time"
She stated in humor, continuing her fit of giggles as her attention turned towards the newly appeared hero. Beneath Blue more vines came below her but nymph knew it wouldnt contain her for to long, not with her show of strength. It would only really only impede on her ability to move with any type of reasonble speed.
If Blue did manage to pinpoint where exactly the sound came from, she would notice a small glowing light moving towards her.

As Blue was helping more people into the deeper water, where they could stand waist high or more away from the tangled assault, she saw cracks appearing below her. She grit her teeth, spinning rapidly to smash the foilage with her tail before grabbing one that was trying to wrap around her leg. With another puffed-cheek heave, she tore it from the ground and hurled it away!
Umi paused for a second. Was that... laughter? So it eas a villain! She had to save as many people as she ould but not engage, fearing repercussions from her teachers and the police for doing so. Still... she closed her eyes and briefly echolocated in the surrounding area. Vines, plants... there! A tiny person, seemingly heading in her direction!
"Darn it..."
Behind her were a crowd of civilians in the water. If this villain was coming her way... they'd all be in trouble!

The little ball of light closely closed the space between her, and her target. She couldnt stop laughing as she grew closer and eventually, if nothing was done she would be in punching distance! Such a small thing couldnt possibly pack a punch though.
The little thing would though, mostly to see how this hero would be able to manage her. She could see clearly that, based off her physique, there was a possibility that she could absorb a good amount of her force.
She would give the big blue whale two punches before slowly buzzing away. The whale seemed to be dealing with her plants well enough but as the ball of light started wafting away, it was getting easier to deal with the plants, them growing less frequently. It would even give Umi time to free some of the trapped civilians further away from the shore.

The blows were a shock to Umi. Something small had whizzed past her, and she swatted at it, not feeling anything connect. Was that the villain? The power to create this huge jungle, but also be such a small size? Umi had to be careful, but she noticed the plants weren't growing as fast as before. She took her chance, helping more civilians around her, moving them into waist-high water to get out of the way of the devilish foliage.
Umi hoped a hero would come along soon... if the villain started targeting her then she would have to defend herself, but that would violate her role as a hero-in-training with no provisional license! She bit her lip, clenched her fists. A hero would come along soon... she was banking on it!

She could feel herself starting to get sluggish, the telltale sign that she would soon be forced back into her true form. She had her quirk down to a science and it meant, at this moment she needed to start buying herself some time. Who said that it didnt have to be filled with dragging the hero along!
She would play to her desire to help and find some foliage to tuck herself under not to far away from the shore. Shortly after, she would feel the fatigue wash over her body as she returned to full size right underneath the brush!
She yelled out for help, frantic and scared hoping the hero would immediately come towards her. Of course, this was all for show but she didnt know that! There wouldnt be a hint of her being the villain outside a similar sounding voice and it coming from the direction to which she flew

There... the last of the civilians she could help. Umi breathed out, then heard a cry from within the jungle. One more! Everyone else was safe in the shallows, so she just had to save one more! Umi closed her eyes, releasing a light burst of echolocation. Using that and the cry for help, she knew exactly where the civilian was. A few moments later she was there, moving plants out of the way to reveal the woman inside.
"Don't worry! I'm here to help. Are you hurt? Can you walk?"

Nina had struggled against the vines, incurring scratches and nicks while she was doing so.
The plant life around them would slowly start to dwindle away and die as if the energy that was sustaining them was no longer present.
When Umi had set her free, she had exclaimed with glee and attempted to get up to give her a hug, but struggled to get up, letting out a pained grunt and falling back on the ground
"ugh... i dont think so, i think i might have sprained or broken my ankle"
She confessed as she rested on her arm, a pained expression on her face as she spoke

"That's okay! I can carry you!"
Umi picked the woman up carefully. She saw the plants suddenly started to wither back all of a sudden. Had the villain moved away? She bit her lip, making a quick decision of what to do. The dying jungle was creating pathways back to the beach, but what if the villain returned? Still... they had injured civilians. She needed help!
"Okay... we need to get you to safety! I hope a hero turns up soon... but I will do my best!"

Eventually, the plant life around them had withered away completely and, aside from brown plants litering the beach, it was nearly back to normal. Nina would raise an eyebrow as her savior had noted that she hoped a hero would show up soon.
Did that mean she wasnt one? She didnt act like a vigilante either. Was this just a good samaritan? A grin appeared on her face, unable to fight it from forming.
"turns up soon? You aren't a hero?"
She questioned. She could cause some serious chaos with this one, get her into some major trouble! It was time to put her to the test.
She couldnt transform back to her prefered form just yet but she that didnt mean she couldnt have fun in her normal form!
She would all of a sudden jump from out of the whale girls arm, but not before giving her a kick to her chest. She had some power behind her, but she didnt expect to do damage to someone as big as her, but she sure could take her by surprise!
She would let out a hearty laughter as she circled around her and used her back as a springboard?
"not a hero then? Tell me, little whale what are you then?"
She queried, a playful tone in her voice
"how much trouble would you get in if you were to fight me, I wonder?"

The kick was still a kick, and Umi felt some wind leave her lungs as the girl leapt out of her arms. She tried to turn, but feet were hitting her back before she could. Stumbling slightly, Umi composed herself and turned to face her attacker. She was the villain after all! This was very bad news. Now the villain had an advantage, knowing Umi couldn't properly stop her without being reprimanded. As long as I can keep her busy, long enough for the civilians to escape or help to arrive! The civilians were already moving away from them, down the shoreline to emerge in the shallows away from the villain. Umi clenched her fists. She would just do her best!
"My name is Umi Kujira, class 1-B in U.A.'s Hero course!"
She didn't confirm why she couldn't engage with the villain, hoping the name of her prestigious school would make her balk. After all, if there was one student from the hero course here, there could be more.
"The only one in trouble here is you! Using your quirk on innocent civilians... you're not getting away with hurting any of them!"
Umi puffed up her cheeks and her chest, trying to make herself look at least somewhat imposing. If her height and size didn't already do it, then this villain might just listen to one thing... and it was the one thing Umi wasn't licensed to do! If I engage in combat, there'll be repercussions... but I have to save these civilians!

"Good work miss Kujira, you've done UA proud. I'll take it from here, please go make sure the civilians are doing ok." came a voice from above, followed by wooden branches descending down and slamming into the water, forming a lattice of wood and thorns to separate Umi and the civilians behind her out in the water from the villain. Following shortly afterwards was the hero responsible for the barrier, gliding down on large leaf-like wings on the side of the barrier with the villain  "The name's Mother Earth" Tyra said "and you're under arrest for assault and disturbing the peace.

The small lady would just laugh at Umis antics, she was an amusing one, cute too!
"aww, fresh meat! Adorable too"
She would state, but it was then that a hero would come, and one that she was familiar one too
"Aunty! You aren't here to spoil my fun are you?"
She stated, pouting leaving the whale alone, moving her attention to the new playmate.
"I was just getting started too come play with me before taking me away!"
She would run towards the fellow plant user, making this last as long as she possibly could. She would anticipate that her aunty would use her seeds against her, she was exactly like her mother after all. Even if she was defective. She knew how to handle her!
As she would get closer, to just a few feet away from the older green female, she would suddenly shrink once more and make contact with her, aiming to punch her right in the stomach!

A hero! Umi felt relief wash over her as the vines created a barrier between them. Free of the villain's attention, she could turn back to the civilians. She had yo get them out of the water and back to safety at the top of the beach. With an incredible speed, she dove and swam before them, surfacing and pointing further along the surf, where the plants weren't obstructing their way through.
"We need to move away from this villain! Make a line towards there. Anyone that can carry a child, please do! The hero will divert attention, and you can make your way to safety!"
Here, it was obvious Umi's strengths were helping people, to be the calm voice of authority to a group if scared civilians in dire straits. She smiled warmly at them.
"Don't worry! There's nothing to fear!"
