These titles... titles of those who've reached the peak of humanity. The one piece is a stepping stone. I'm talking about being the undeniable #1. Jumping beyond that peak of the highest. "

Captain Heavy is a straightforward individual, proud, loud, and in your face. He has no problem poking his chest out even if he doesn't properly understand a situation. He's a lazy sort when it comes to his duties as a Captain. He does this to cultivate his crews skills, and should they find themself in a pinch, he generally will show his true usefulness as a captain and show up when necessary. He carries a great deal of charisma, turning foes into rivals, and strangers into friends. With such an electrifying way of living, it's easy for him to motivate his crew, even though it can be annoying at times.
Morals: The crew comes before all else. Survival is held to the highest standard as he'd very prefer retreating over facing the death of a cherished crewmate.
Passion: He's passionate about noteriety and being on the top of the food chain. As a person who has come from nothing, attaining status is incredibly high on his to do list.
Loathe: Captains who mistreat their own crew.
Flaw:
Overzealous- There is such a thing as trying to hard or being too greedy.
His hunches- They are a gamble. They are either spot-on or outlandishly far from the mark.
Personal Goal/Dream: To become the legend of all legends
" If I have to conquer land so be it. The sea is our world's biggest mystery, along with the one piece. STEPPING STONES to becoming a true legend. I'll conquer the Gods if need be."
Defining Moment:
The Hook way or the Pirate way?
Far from the hustle and bustle of Hook islands' docks was a standoff. Cherie Rice and her two mates from Goat Island, vs. Garcia and his two mates from Hook Island. The crew compositions were eerily similar; a heavy-hitting captain, an all-rounder first mate, and a swordsman. The Rice crew came to Hook with a mission to gain riches but got swindled out of all their money and even their ship. Coincidently there was a certain captain prepping to set sail for the very first time... Garcia "Captain Heavy" Fink. Now the issue was Cherie's crew wanted no part of him. Garcia would look to his two trusty ladies and smile. Angie would spin her old rusty rifle, and step up to the plate. "Fine, I'll knock em down a peg."
"As if you could take out all three of us." Captain Rice scoffed, aiming her warm hammer at the crew, which only made Angie spin her rifle faster. Garcia let out a loud laugh. He'd present the Rice crew with his flag. "We plan on setting sail pretty soon. Come on, yall... last warning. We need a crew, and yall need a ship. Sounds like a solid trade to me, Kuhahahaaaaa! Now we could do this the Hook way, OR the pirate way.Don't make US make the decision for youuuuu~~~. "
"Shut it, eye patch." Cherie's first mate, Gyle, wanted no part. The second mate, Jizo, agreed without hesitation. Their captain on the other hand was a bit silent. It wasn't an awful deal. She only cared about becoming the top female pirate... could he take her to that peak? "Queen of the pirates. That's my dream. If you can't get me that, then we have nothing to talk about." Cherie entered a proper stance, her hammer prepped for the swinging.
With a devillish grin, Garcia-" Beyond that!"
"Bullshit!" The first mate unsheathed his long sword and charged at Garcia. The fight was ON! The 3 on3 wouldn't happen as Garcia's first mate was QUITE serious. Angie would intercept immediately, feigning to stab the kid in the gut with her bayonet. If Gyle were any good, he'd shift his feet and block, but that's what Angie was actually aiming for, his legs. With the slightest adjustment to her rifle's angle, she-"Fox Hunt..." She narrowed her eyes and pulled the trigger. As soon as he attempted to block, BANG! A bullet went right into his knee. With a simple pivot and change of targets, she'd already kicked Gyle on his ass. She just barely ducked under the incoming boomerang thrown by Jizo, and seemingly lost balance and fell forward. Jizo reached for his own rifle, as this moment was prime real estate for a shot! The boomerang was just a distraction so he could snipe his enemy, but Angie's stumble was but another fox-like move to create an irregular shooting opportunity. Who exactly would fall perfectly into a shooter's prone position, "Fox Hunt..." BANG, a shot to the arm, causing the boomerang to bash Jizo in the chest when it returned. He'd stumble to his knees.
In a few mere moments, Heavy's first mate already shut down the Rice crew's numbers and created a proper one on one. Cherie grumbled, "Fine, Jizo, Gyle stay back! I've got this bitch." It's not like her crew had a choice. Being shot in the knee, Gyle was rendered immobile. A swordsmen who can't even stand was useless. Jizo, who was shot in his arm, couldn't properly aim with such an unbalanced. She charged in for an overhead swing on the prone Heavy crewmember. She'd aim to flatten the woman like a bug. While Angie was impressed by Captain Rice's strength in wielding such a heavy weapon, she made no effort to move. An anchor would meet the Warhammer, the resounding clang was jarring for everyone in attendance. Cherie stumbled back, shocked an anchor could be launched with that much ease, and even more shocked by how it strangely and fluttered about like cloth. The impact has her hands throbbing... doubt was settling in. Could she really beat the Heavy Pirates? "What's... going on? You guys ain't normal..."
"Yup yup! I'm an unlucky bastard who ate a fruit and became a flagman. I think you've seen who's stronger. No point in continuing this fight. " Chains jostled and jangled, as the anchor floated back to Garcia's hand in a soft fluttering motion. [glow=red]"I know I said you had an option of doing things the Hook way or the Pirate way, but you forget we're Pirates from Hook Island. Kuhahaa! We'll be taking your weapons since that's all you've got."
His first and second mates would disarm the opposing trio. They'd leave Cherie her Warhammer, since she actually didn't seem so opposed to joining, compared to her crew mates. She was silent... Heavy would close out the conversation since she seemed too lost for words. It was because they were set up to fail, the moment they spoke to Captain Heavy. If they weren't going to make a choice, he'd force a choice. It was disgustingly similar to the sheisty vendors and traders on the island. She was livid. The worst part was he warned her before anyone started to fight.
"Alright...WELL... You've seen our flag. So that means you know where to find us and which ship to look for. Clean your wounds! We're leaving in 5 days. You and your flunkies better meet us on the ship or get left behind! If I see you again and we AREN'T crewmates, I won't hesitate in killing you. Choose wisely." With this dead serious threat, he was casually folding his weapon back into a sash, and putting it back on. She looked at her two injured crewmates... The man was as cruel as he was bold and electrifying... a lunatic. Those two were in no shape to join right now... it only left Cherie. It was a decision she'd have to make on her own...
Devil Fruit Info (Only edit if you have eaten a devil fruit.)
Devil Fruit Name: Flutter Flutter Fruit (Hira Hira no mi)
Devil Fruit Type: Paramecia
Abilities: A devil fruit that allows the user to make their body and any object they touch ripple, billow, and flutter like a piece of cloth or a flag, making the user a Flag Human. The fruit essentially allows the user to bestow upon themselves or objects the touch some of the properties of cloth. The affecting the user's body or an object, it becomes flat, and a fraction of the weight. It is capable of bending, folding and rolling up, and all-around behaving as if it were made from cloth. All other properties the object retains, such as the sharpness of a blade or the toughness of steel.
The user is capable of inspiring movement in affected objects, fluttering and twisting as if a flag in the wind. Despite the seemingly chaotic nature of this movement, the user has precise control over the fluttering movement, even able to command the object to move in precise ways and entirely reshape itself. In addition, it has been shown that the fruit is capable of 'locking' reshaped objects, solidifying and reinforcing them beyond even their natural durability.
Weakness:
-Ocean and Seaprism Stone
-Has to be in physical contact (cannot affect people/etc)
-Strong Gusts can throw fluttering creations, and even Garcia, himself flying.
Special Moves:
Burdened Flag - Literally like canon Army Bandera, make his surroundings bellow and ripple like a flag.
Flag Pole - Jumping high into the sky, he'll sink his anchor in the ground so he doesn't flutter off in the wind. It's a great move for dodging, as well as getting a good read on the landscape. He can do the same for launching the anchor upward and let it pull him upward (Reverse Flag Pole), although what comes up must come down. The options open up as he can gently flutter into a better position in a fight, float off into the distance or use his finishing from up high.
Cobra- Like canon "Vipera Glaive". Despite easily swinging around an anchor on his own, turning his weapon into a flag allows him to snake it in different directions for more controlled attacks or to rebound said weapon back into his vicinity.
Heavy Pass Port -A balancing act between turning his anchor and himself into flags. He'll whip his anchor in whichever direction much like Cobra before turning into a cloth himself, letting the heavy weight yank him out of danger or allow him to travel sizable distances in short periods of time. It makes for a solid projectile attack, and opener attack, as his body will follow the weapon's direction.
Guillotine - From a high position, usually from Reverse Flag Pole, or Heavy Pass Port, he will release his fruits power and crash down on foes with his anchor(s) like a guillotine. It's his most devastating move.
False Flag- Feigning the same tactics as cobra, he'll figure out a way to try ensnare an enemy in his cloth chain, and weigh them down when releasing the anchor's true weight and shape.
Tactics info
Personal Equipment:
"Heavy Chandelier" -They are a pair anchors sharpened to be used like blades, each with its own separate chain. They' have been neatly folded into two grey sashes and laid across his shoulder. One wouldn't even be able to identify what they really are until he unfolds them. They are denoted as a signature weapon of his and why he is called Captain Heavy in the first place.
Skills:
Strength training and Athleticism- Since his father owned a metal works company, he's been carrying heavy things and training his body since young. It helps for heavy lifting, or quite literally throwing himself or allies into positions that wouldn't be possible otherwise. This also allows for him to wield literally anchor blades as his weapon of choice.
Luck - Luck itself isn't a skill, but being able to capitalize off of it IS.
Theft and Storage- As he can fold items into a cloth, stealing is an absolute cakewalk for him. Any "random" piece of cloth found on his person is likely an item that he stows on his person and will take to the ship.
Haki:
Until Haki is capable of being learned, this will stay empty.
Combat Style:
Experimental Brawler / "Swordsmen" - Steel beams, anchors, great swords, if it's heavy he can wield it with his natural strength and fruit. If he's unarmed, that also means he's no longer weighed down. From there he can show off strange fluttering movements with powerful and speedy striking.
Techniques:
GRIT YOUR TEETH - An ordinary right-handed haymaker, but from a combatant who casually handles anchors for his weapon of choice, it'll pack some serious power.
