Personal Info
Personality:
Secco is a humble person, perhaps too humble. Life has taken a turn for the better, and yet he often sees himself as this lowly kid that everyone in his hometown fears. To an extent, he holds a touch of resentment for how he acted in the past and is a bit on a trip when it comes to "discipline." He knows in order to evolve as a person, he has to make changes to himself. The wise words of the man who recruited him often resonate in his head and lead him in the right direction. This leads him to at least attempt to have a great deal of patience. He'll often hold back despite how much anger builds up within him. He's still in the process of being taught to utilize his rage properly, and will "go wild" from time to time. (sometimes it's warranted)
To most people, he is calm, quiet, and observant, nothing like the wild raging animal he is portrayed to be. It's only in combat does that side of him come out. In all actuality, there's more to him. He enjoys the simple things and lusts to learn more about the world. As misunderstood as he is, he is the perfect young mind to shape into a proper marine. He is to be taught justice, and how to implement his own sense of justice onto the world in front of him.
As it pertains to his social life and duties in the marines, he's equally liked and disliked. This is because he is a natural standout rookie handpicked by Captain Leyte, but it also becomes a bit obvious to others that he doesn't hold the same sense of brotherhood as people who have spent years together. He isn't a slacker, but he definitely performs just enough in most tasks. Secco's still too ripe for a position of leadership so making him the crew's scout was the next best thing. As a lookout, he is granted a meaningful role, and often gets chosen to be in the group of men who get to scout out an island, person, or ship of interest. He often gets to work closely with the captain or first mate, to gain good hands-on experience.
Morals:
He follows his own moral code and has a grading system for who he determines good or bad. While it's easier to categorize most people, combatants tend to sit in a shade of grey, because he may think of them one way as a person but think a completely different way about them as a warrior.
Passion:
Women
Eating good food
Alcohol (Especially Wine)
Hunting
Loathe:
-Lack of manners
-Getting lectured by someone weaker than him
-That he can't swim at beautiful beaches because of his fruit curse.
-Shitty Alcohol
Flaw:
Hypocrite- There are things within himself that he absolutely can't stand in others.
Selfish-Doesn't enjoy things unless there is a direct benefit to her. All for one, rather than one for all.
Personal Goal/Dream:
To repay Old Man Tilt for changing his life, by becoming a great marine.
Defining Moment:
"You oughtta look at the name rather than the bounty. Provincia, meaning from the La'Province family. He's Animal's son I presume. He was well known in the grand line, and yet he leaves his kid...How Curious. "The commanding officer stood out among the white coats and boats. He sported armor made purely of prison stone. It was black, but still shined in the sun. He'd pass the paper back to his underling. Running his fingers through his beard, he pondered. "Yellow Key has so few pirates come from here... What's a dead animal hunter's son still doing here anyway? Don't pirates set sail around this age?"
"Sir, the most recent report says, he's been seen hunting endangered species in the woods. Restaurants around here often want to attract prominent families so they aim to create exotic dishes, ESPECIALLY if there is even the slightest chance a Celestial Dragon may be in town. We've surveyed restaurants within the Kingdom and think we have the right place, sir." Another marine chimed in to the Captain. They were a well-oiled machine... as justice should be. The captain would reply with a simple, "Splendid."
While hunting was accurate, the acts of violence? Those were false, but the reality of things didn't matter. He was the son of a pirate, people were scared of his appearance, and thought he was one too. Secco was raised to be an animal hunter, but that was only so he could ean a wage, until pops got back. That was 7 years ago. It was easy enough to guess what happened to dear old dad. While the teen did hunt, he was learning to cook as well. If he were lucky enough he could open up his own restaurant and specialize in the finest of drinks. What a dream...
The world around him had other plans, expectations, and assumptions. He was often attacked by people who were afraid of him. In fact, most of the scars weren't from animals, but from people "protecting themselves" from him. In most cases, he was simply minding his business. THIS was one of those days. He was waiting in the alleyway, waiting for the owner to let him into the kitchen for a private lesson. The deal was, he brings fresh meat, and they teach him proper cooking techniques. As he waited, of course, a woman shrieks at the very sight of him. With the marines close by, whistles blared as the marines filled up the alleyway before Secco could even make a break for it. To make matters worse, the woman already cut him good with a pocket knife from her purse.
He didn't defend himself against people, his father made it clear to never raise a hand against someone that's weaker than him. He'd listened all this time, but where had it gotten him? From the looks of all these uniforms surrounding him, it seemed like jail. To raise a hand or to remain nonviolent, it seemed destiny wanted him in jail, the inflated bounty said so. Or...perhaps destiny had other plans. When the Captain arrived to the scene with his second in command, the woman framed the situation like Secco was attacking her, and yet she was without a scratch or blemish. Tears from a pretty face could fool the gullible, but not an old man. Captain Leyte opted for her to leave rather than listen to her blabbering. He didn't believe her anyway. "Well, ma'am the situation is under control. My name is Captain Thomas Leyte, and this is Warrant Officer Corse. We'll handle things from here. I advise you to head home. " Her plight was able to sway the crowd, but not the captain himself. Secco stood fuming, feeling helpless. "And do you have anything to say for yourself? " He was analyzing Secco. "I'm talking to you! When a marine gives you a chance to explain yourself you oughtta do it, son." The boiling rage kept him from saying anything. All the boy could do was stand with his fist closed in a tight fist.
"See Captain? This "wolf" has no bark or bite. Mr. Lupo di La'Provincia... NOT so tough after all. " Officer Corse was the arrogant sort. Just to show a bit of dominance he'd walked right up to Secco. The difference in height was clear. The teen had the marine by a full foot... To show he wasn't intimidated, he'd perform a takedown on the boy. Secco, the nonviolent, would just let it happen. If he fought a marine things would only get worse. He'd already accepted that, he was gonna spend some time in the slammer. But all of this was pissing him off. What was the last straw... he could run if he really wanted to... Officer Corse's laugh... Secco gritted his teeth, devil fruit activating due to his welling anger. He'd stand with ease, flipping the man off of him. The marine was a bit too shocked to properly recover, so Leyte would bring sense to the situation, in an attempt to de-escalate.
Raising an eyebrow, Leyte- "After being framed, you wish to fight a marine?" He'd understood a good gist of what was going on, but to fight a marine and revealed that he was a devil fruit user? He could understand, from the kid's snarling response. "I've had enough..." He didn't even hear what was said. Pffff...kids. They get worked up and lose all common sense.-Leyte thought.
"Uh-huh. Come at me, if you should feel so bold. All men, stand back. He's a fruit user, I'll deal with him myself. " An exhausted exhale from the old man. Kids. Secco wasted no time in crouching down on all fours before pouncing right into a trap. As soon as he made contact with the Captain, he fell to the ground. "I'll ask you again. After being framed, and failing to realize your level, do you STILL wish to fight a marine?" It was the first time Secco had experience the weakening sensation of sea prism stone. He rolled over, and strained to push himself up, he was already transforming back into a human. By this time, Corse was back on his feet and fully prepared to talk shit.
"Hahaaaa. SEE! No bark, no bite!" As if he wasn't flipped a few moments ago. The crew weakly chuckled just to feed the man's poor ego. Again, Secco would rise up. These guys weren't weaker than him, meaning they were free game to fight. He couldn't figure out the old man's magic trick, but this Corse guy was ASKING for it. Seething, he did a double take between Leyte and Corse. Could he win? He glared at course, but Leyte would chime in one last time. "Last warning, I'll give you the option to yield, and if not, I'll strike you down without mercy. I've been going quite easy on you, already. Make the right choice son." As he said this, Corse aimed to provoke. He'd unsheathe both of his blades, and wave them around.
Secco turned to Corse, hairs standing on end. He wanted to transform so bad and rip this guy's throat out. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, hoping to tune out the taunting. Leyte patiently waited for a response. In a quick and submissive bow, Secco roared, " I YEILD!" The strain of trying to control himself, along with the panic and pressure from Leyte caused his nose to bleed. While Secco made the right choice, all he could envision was clobbering Warrant Officer Corse. For a moment, and only a moment that rage resonated to Corse, causing him to drop his weapons and fall to one knee. Corse quickly recovered his weapons, and pretended like it didn't happen... clueless,... but the crew clamored amongst each other. They had no idea either. Why did Corse just suddenly fall like that? They'd never seen anything like it. Even Secco was confused by what had just transpired. They... all, but one. Leyte's face pulled into a surprised, but knowing smile."Very interesting, kid. How's about I take you under my wing instead of taking you in."
"WHAT?!?!?" A resounding response from literally everyone.
"You need to get that anger in check... The best solution for a lost youth in the military. Structure and routine oughtta straighten you ought. Don't argue with an old man. Your choice is come with me as a new choreboy, or jail." Leyte's invitation would be met with protest from Corse! Secco couldn't help but feel a strange pressure."My father told me to never trust a marine!" The only other option was jail though...Funny enough, Captain Leyte wasn't asking... He'd already made up his mind. He'd save this stray from rolling down a dark and twisted path. As long as he kept his head on straight, the path of justice suited someone like him. That's what Leyte surmised. "I...I..." to no avail, the teen would only blink at the Captain a few times before passing out. That was the proper way to use that ability... Captain Leyte would cackle before, telling his men to clean up the scene, and take Secco to the barracks.

More specific to this model, Wolverines are known to go toe to toe with much larger animals with their powerful teeth and jaws, long retractable claws, strength, speed and unrelenting aggression. They also have a slight immunity to some poisons due to their indiscriminate diet(foxes, rodents, berries, snakes, worms, literally anything), along with an immunity to frost due to thick skin, and thick fur. Long claws aid in climbing and digging capabilities.
Beast Form - Secco will take on the form of a 3ft large Wolverine with a silver streak on it's chest, and also retain his silver eyes. Much like a wolverines, he gains a dense coat of fur, thick skin, incredibly powerful jaws, and long retractable claws.
Hybrid Form- Secco will shift into a bipedal beastman, boasting a great deal of his fruits traits, but allowing for a more humanoid shape. The muscles are compact and toned, leading to a slender and lean shape. Instead of a snout, his face is a bit more human as well.
Weakness:
-Ocean and Sea Prism Stone
-Emotional flight can cause fits of blind rage (one has to be in complete control of themselves. )
Special Moves:
Pounce (Tobikakaru)- An extremely swift and accurate jump, especially effective from a hiding position or high perch.
Crush Claw - an open-hand haymaker of a strike sending all of his power and weight to Secco's lead paw. The strike is powerful, but his claws are long enough to put a gash into a foe even if it grazes them.

Tactics info
Personal Equipment:
Military standard Rifle, and bayonet
Hip pouch and knives - A rectangular bag holding a sizable amount of knives. They all have a neutral grip, good for throwing and are roughly 8 inches in length.
Skills:
Hunting/knife throwing
Survival/Camping Skills
Fishing
Taste in alcohol
Haki:
Until Haki is capable of being learned, this will stay empty.
Combat Style:
Marines standard training in Martial Arts and Marksmanship
" Predation Hunt" - The mixed-bag approach to hunting animals without a gun. With knives and unconventional martial arts, the user will mimic animalistic movements and hunting tactics to kill their prey. This includes powerful sniper-like knife throws, along side slashes, pouncing strikes, and even breathing techniques. Many of the moves are used based on instinct, essentially putting the hunter's instinct against the instinct of their prey. It is the polar opposite and counterpart to a gunner style called Fox Hunt. Both are quite unorthodox and take direct inspiration to animals found in the wild. Fox Hunt was created by studying the IQ and athletic prowess of a fox, while Predation took inspiration from predators wolves and bears.
Techniques:
Stalking Breath- On the hunt, shallow and quiet breathing is used to minimize one's presence whilst stalking their prey. If need be he can hold his breath for a solid amount of time.
Recovery Breath- A meditative breathing technique to calm down, it's also great for enduring an injury, breathing through pain or quickly catching ones breath in a lull of combat. This also allows the user to recover mentally, gifting their mind with precious oxygen during a hard-fought battle.
Predator Breath -With a sharp and focused breath, a user takes in the maximum amount of oxygen to supplement the body and exert one's maximum physical capability for a strike. It's similiar to how a animal with changes it's breathing just before engaging with prey.
Beast Fang Hunt- A powerful and speedy knife throw. He can up the number up to 8 (4 per hand), but will generally stick to 1-2.
Beast Print Press- A mimic of his crush claw technique. A powerful open-hand haymaker with knives between his fingers to mimic claws. The result is stab wounds on top of the hearty impact.

Capture --- Enlisting
"14k is an easy bounty, sir, but I'm sure you can end him in one blow." A marine crew strolled along the road, guns at the ready. He'd pass Captain Leyte a copy of the wanted poster. It was of a white-haired teen, tall and with plenty scars. He was allegedly wanted for acts of violence and illegal hunting of endangered animals. "Sir, the most recent report says, he's been seen hunting endangered species in the woods.
