Appearance
Physical Appearance
Bonnie is short stature, surprisingly skinny and with little to her body frame (despite the amount she eats). She has a European complexion, pale like flour, with grey-green eyes and small facial features. Her iron-grey hair falls to her shoulder-blades and is often tied up in a messy bun. Bonnie has no other identifying features that could show her out of a crowd.
Civilian Clothes
Bonnie wears dresses most of the time, in various shades of red.
Hero Outfit
Bonnie's hero outfit consists of a white chef shirt, long sleeves and heavy cuffs, under a white lacy pinafore that is secured by a purple ribbon about her waist and falls down over a billowing red skirt. Around her neck she wears a red neckerchief. On her head Bonnie wears a wide, flat baker's hat. She wears knee-high socks, each with a bow about the top, and black shoes. Under everything Bonnie wears old-fashioned modesty drawers, with lacy tips around the bottom which shows from under her skirt.
Personality
Bad Habits
Bonnie is constantly snacking. At any time she may have various food items about her person that she can graze on, from fruits and nuts, cakes, baked delicacies and, of course, bread. Bonnie is constantly hungry and will complain if she hasn't eaten anything for longer than a couple of minutes. She has a habit of eating off other people's plates (though she is equally fine sharing her meals with others, if they get the chance before she eats the lot) and has no concept of food-related boundaries.
Goal
To save people that Pro-Heroes can or will not.
To create a world where anyone can live and work without depending on Pro-Heroes for safety.
General Personality
Bonnie is a quiet woman, rarely outspoken and rarely heard raising her voice. Calm and collected, she possesses an interesting and creative mind, especially when it comes to baking or cooking. Bonnie was born to bake and it is more like a lifestyle than an actual hobby. She prefers the company of bread to people but has a certain few that sit within a classification that she deems "friends". To those people she would never let down. She will fuss over them, make sure they are eating enough and generally mother them. Bonnie would give her life for them as well, without question or hesitation.
In a fight she is surprisingly energetic and wild, considering her usually placid demeanour. She is not a fan of killing or doing more harm than necessary but is willing to take that step if it means the safety of others. Bonnie wishes to help innocents and civilians and has very little faith in Hero Society to do so. She has taken it onto her own shoulders, and those of her allies in the Initiative, to stop villains and halt crimes in action when she sees them.
Bonnie loves to eat and loves to share food with people. She cooks almost all the time, not just bread but fantastic meal creations, experimenting with herbs and spices, different ingredients and different combinations of food. Bonnie has a knack for it and rarely produces anything inedible, though some of her creations are... interesting, to say the least. Her joy in life comes nearly all from cooking and eating.
Bonnie's disdain of Hero society is palpable. She can't even be near a Pro-Hero without becoming visibly irritated, the only time her emotions seem to move beyond the calm and serene individual she normally is. Her faith is totally shattered in everything to do with Heroes, and she would rather see a world where people could live without them. Bonnie's affinity with the Initiative is to prove that Heroes are not necessary in the modern day and life would be a lot safer and easier without it and the idea of Hero Licences.
Since being taken into the villain rehabilitation scheme, Bonnie's views on Hero society have softened, though she still views many of them with disdain and disgust. She believes heroes should be selfless, and not looking for fame or glory along the way. However she is lighter with her approach to society, finding a lot of good there where before she had just seen bad.

History
Bonnie was born into baking. Her mother was a baker, originating from France but moving to Japan after she met Bonnie's father on holiday. They met in a bakery when Miede was sampling Japanese bread, and he was buying some dinner. Love was instant and, over a shared loaf they ate in a nearby park, they cemented their future together. Miede and Ishi moved in together and Bonnie was born a year later.
She was raised amongst the smell of baking bread and cookery. Her mother's quirk allowed her to quickly produce bread and baked goods and, when she turned four, Bonnie produced a similar quirk. Miede taught her everything about it while her father, a high ranking doctor with a healing quirk, was working. When he returned home they would feed him everything they had cooked; he would laugh and complain jokingly that he was going to grow fat and round like a balloon. He would always make sure to go for a morning run so this wouldn't happen; both Miede and Bonnie's quirks gave them high metabolisms, so they could eat what they wanted, while his did not.
Bonnie considered the route of Pro-Hero and applied for U.A. High. She was accepted but failed at the first mark, her quirk not at all suitable for combat. She did get into the General Studies class and came out the other side with commendable grades, even if she would never own a hero licence. Bonnie had always secretly wanted to help people, to be a hero and a beacon of hope and trust, but she resigned herself to working with her mother in a bakery they had purchased when Ishi retired early.
A year prior to the present day, Bonnie was out of town visiting old friends from U.A., when the bakery was struck by a villain looking for money to steal. He held Miede and Ishi at gun-point while they emptied the till but, when he was spooked by a Pro-Hero making an entrance, shot both of them. Bonnie got the call and rushed home, but both died before she got to the hospital.
Bonnie inherited the bakery and developed a sense of unease about the Pro-Heroes she had once revered and looked up to. Now she saw them in a new light, in a bitter and angry fog. She continued to cook and bake but her resentment grew. When she was mugged with no heroes around to help her, Bonnie was certain that heroes did nothing good for society. Indeed they made crime worse, enhancing the idea of villains and creating a polarised word of good and evil.
She encountered the Institute by accident when they were illegally dealing with a villain. Bonnie had heard of vigilantes before but never encountered them before. She was taken up with the idea and implored them to take her to their boss so she could plead her case. When she stood before the large War Machine and told him what her quirk was, there was laughter by the other vigilantes present. However he let her stay as he saw the conviction in her eyes. She became a support to the other vigilantes, using her energy-boosting bread when things were going wrong. Bonnie began to develop her quirk and created a combat-ready element to it quickly with her Overbaked style. Now she was a true Vigilante, taking to the streets as a member of the Initiative, ready to do what Pro-Heroes could not!
After the fall of the Initiative, Bonnie was taken on board the Villain Rehabilitation Scheme by Momma Bear. Through vigorous training and lots of contemplating, Bonnie made her way from Vigilante to Hero, working as a hero supervised by her Saviour, looking to redeem herself and become a pro-hero that the kids at the orphanage could really look up to!
Quirk
Name
Bake-Off
Quirk Type
Emitter
Power
Bake-Off gives Bonnie the ability to create baked bread from her own body. She can create any form of baked goods that just relies on dough and it comes out as if it was perfectly cooked in an oven. Bonnie can control the temperature that she "cooks" the bread, can alter the shape that it comes out as, and, by ingesting herbs, spices or other ingredients, can flavour the final product accordingly. She can also under or over cook the bread and can create super soft or super hard dough-based items or weapons.
Each of Bonnie's bread creations contains a supplementary healing ability. While it can't heal gaping wounds or reverse injuries, it can give a boost to the recovery system of the body that ingests it, allowing regenerative cells to go into overtime. Small cuts, bleeding and minor injuries will heal a lot quicker after the bread is ingested. Furthermore, due to the way the bread is baked using her own fat cells, each bite gives a boost of energy to the consumer and can overclock their strength, speed and agility for a short period of time.
Supermoves
Overbake
By "over cooking" her dough, Bonnie can craft blunt weapons and armour plating to use in combat. These are tailor made to fit her hand and are as strong as a baseball bat or hard wooden material. The shape and design is all up to her creativity and the limits are endless.
Overbaked Baguette Bat
A baguette with a hilt, reminiscent of a baseball bat and just as durable.
Overbaked Bagel Boomerang
A hard bagel that can be thrown and cause some damage if it hits the target. If thrown correctly it flies in an arc before returning to sender.
Overbaked Crouton Caltrops
A large portion of hardened caltrops that are created in such a way that a hardened corner sticks directly upwards. Good for laying down in front of pursuers on foot or in a vehicle.
Overbaked Ciabatta Chainmail
A hardened layer of body armour, baked as a ciabatta with interlinking bread "chains". These give Bonnie a greater protection against physical attacks.
Overbaked Sodabread Shield
A large round piece of sodabread, with a radius large enough to cover Bonnie from ranged attacks and as durable as a hard wooden shield.
Underbake
A recent Supermove that Bonnie created in a fight against some villains, she creates soft underbaked dough for a variety of strategic options in battle. She can create soft, sticky traps for physical attacks, airbag-like dough cushins that can stop her being hit by projectiles or being thrown hard against objects, and creating a trampoline affect to send her soaring into the air.
Drawbacks
Bonnie's bread is created by breaking down lipids in her body. If she uses it too much then it will drain her energy quickly, and she won't be able to bake any more delicious bread. Because of this drawback, Bonnie's appetite is incredible, and she rarely stops eating, munching, snacking or grazing. If she didn't eat well over 10,000 calories a day, her quirk wouldn't be effective in a combat situation.
Bread also doesn't last for a long time, even when Overcooked, so anything she has made must be kept in a dry, dark location and consumed within 2-3 days. Her Overcooked combat equipment must be thrown away after a day's use.
Fighting Style
Bonnie has only taken to combat recently but has been trained by other members of the Initiative. Surprisingly her bread-based quirk has its uses in combat. She fights defensively, using her ability to quickly create armour, shields and weapons to keep enemy attacks at bay. Her baked weapons can pack a punch as well. Bonnie waits for enemies to approach her and step into range before clobbering them with her Overbaked items, or keeps them at bay with her ranged Overbaked weaponry.[/align]
