History:
It is said that there exists a being of higher power within the realm of the Kingdom, that is formless yet powerful, and that has been wishing to influence the land's fate for a long while. An entity only known as 'The Greater Will', who unlike gods and deific figures of legend does not wish to impose its will directly upon the Kingdom, but rather shift and turn the tides of its direction to see who comes out more suited and worthy of leading it. But even such a being is known for being biased, and more than often has it been secretively associated with the old Hylian rule, as in many old, outdated pieces of artistry it has been seen depicted as a golden, sprawling tree. The symbol that later came to be transformed into the Hylian Triforce. But even so, its legends and myths transpired into nothing but faded, distant memories. But even now in this age does the Greater Will stir once more.
It has sensed that the world has shifted, and the forces of godly beings once sprawling across the Kingdom have grown absent. It was high time for an agent of its choosing to be placed within the realm, to shift the course of history once more. And thus, a small idea was planted upon the soil of the Kingdom, like a seed from a mighty tree. And it soon took root, and sprouted into a warrior of both bestial might, arcane blessing, and military cunning. A trifecta of a man, symbolizing the three aspects of the Triforce to a T. And he was chosen to be known as 'Blaidd', a word that in old Hylian dialect means 'wolf'. This being was born with but one command;
"Seek out a child of royalty, and become their guardian".
And so, Blaidd has set forth into the Kingdom, armed with but a man-sized sword and his own instincts, clad in iron armor and deep-blue cloak, to fulfill his purpose in life, which is to secure the future rule of the Kingdom.
Drive:
Blaidd's purpose for living is simple as of now; the Greater Will has implanted the idea of seeking out a "royal child" to protect and nurture into a proper, future ruler of the Kingdom, and so that is what he seeks to do with the utmost of his abilities.

Visual Appearance:
Blaidd is a creature of immense size and strength, standing at a rough 9 feet tall in height, and being built of lean, tough muscle all over, which is riddled with scars in all sorts of places. Most notably is one across his snout, and another over his left eye, which has left it permanently damaged, yet useable. He has several wolf-like traits, like a large bushy tail, a canid face and snout, and pointy ears, along with being covered in thick, grey fur. His eyes are a light shade of violet.
Clothing/Armor:
His attire consists of reinforced leather underneath a suit of foreign-looking, yet tough and hardened iron armor, complete with a set of boots and gauntlets custom-made to fit his clawed feet and hands. He also has a large, billowing blue cloak behind him, which has a wolf's fur 'mane' sewn into the top of it.
Personality
Blaidd is a rather stoic and firm individual, choosing not to mince words and be discreet and to the point with things. He simply wishes to not waste too much time with things, especially when there are dire tasks that need attending to. He is very slow to anger, not often getting enraged with a lot of things unless someone really presses him to snap. Though with all the calm and stoicism he exudes, he is very easy to fall victim to his vices, such as his canid habits of enjoying pettings and rubs along his cheeks, chin and the back of his ears. He also can't resist the smell of good cooking.
Blaidd secretly suffers a lot from self-confidence issues, and general anxiety regarding his purpose that he was given by the Greater Will. He very often doubts himself and that he'll be able to perform his task properly, but more than often pushes those thoughts down deep into his core and lets them fester rather than letting them out, for he does not wish to present himself as 'weak'. It is because of the fact that the Greater Will gave him such a vague task to fulfill that he's developed these issues, for he does not know who this 'royal lineage' is, nor who they will be as a person.
Weapons/Items
Blaidd wields a weapon only known as the Royal Greatsword, and it is a blade of magnanimous size, the blade itself easily as large as a normal human being. It is immaculately designed and carved with various runes and symbols of an old, dead language, and near the base of the blade, and over the guard and grip, it is decorated with gold trims, and with a large blue sapphire embedded into each side of the guard. The blade itself is heavy and sharp, capable of cutting large foes into shreds with a few swings, but it is also imbued with a large amount of arcane energies, and can be imbued with the power of arcane frost that freezes whatever it strikes.
Abilities/Powers
Blaidd's over-all physical capabilities far exceeds that of the most elite soldiers and knights of the realm, as evident enough with the fact that he is able to wield and swing his immense greatsword with just one hand, and only increases the striking force of it when two-handing it. He is incredibly strong, resilient, durable and agile as a warrior, capable of striking his foes with bestial strength, and moving at deathly fast speeds to catch his foes off-guard.
He also has generally enhanced senses as per being a wolf-person, his senses of smell, hearing and taste being the most prominent senses that allow him to scout and track ahead much more efficient than any royal scout.
With his blade, it is safe to say Blaidd has excellent swordsmanship as well, capable of both one-handing and two-handing his weapon with ease, swinging it with deadly precision and force either way.
When his blade is not enough in a fight, his natural claws and fangs can also provide lethal weaponry to his person, capable of clawing his way through leather and flesh alike, and being able to crush bones and tear off limbs with his jaws.
Roleplay Sample
His breath heaved and formed wispy clouds of frost and steam that escaped his maw, as Blaidd snarls and glances up at his foes surrounding him; four demonic-looking foes, clad in black iron suits and with painted faces sneering at him and spitting curses in unknown tongues, all with blades drawn that gleam with a crimson magic, foul and not of this realm. But Blaidd would not yield himself, as he just snarls out loud and stands upright again, ignoring the pain of a stab-wound through his left hip as he'd just swing his blade through the air, the edges of the sword gleaming with arcane frost that leaves a wispy trail behind it in mid-swing.
One of the demon-like foes shrieks a battle-cry, and lunges for Blaidd, sword raised and aiming to skewer him. But Blaidd's gaze finds his foe's eyes, and with a look of pure determination, the dremora flinches and misses his mark with but an inch, which Blaidd capitalizes on by swinging his blade with both hands, cleaving his foe horizontally in twain, as frost begins creeping along both severed halves, freezing them solid as the top half lands and smashes on the ground. The second foe raises his bow and fires a hard-drawn arrow as it flies through the air, but Blaidd's ears pick it up as his body acts, leaping out of the way as he crouches down low and sprints towards the opponent, leaping back and forth in zig-zag motions that throws his foe off, and soon enough finds Blaidd's sword impaling him through his chest and out the back, the blade being yanked out from his left side and gutting him as he falls down.
Now the third and fourth ones are left, and they both seem to doubt their capabilities as one of them takes off in a mad dash to flee, leaving his companion to be pounced upon by the wolf-man and literally get mauled to death by Blaidd's free, clawed hand as it rips through his face and then tears his head off its shoulders. The fourth one does not get far, as rapid crunches of paws-to-snow are heard behind him, and before he knows it, his legs are severed from underneath him as he falls to his chest, hands sprawled out as he tries to crawl his way forward, but finds himself stopped as a blade sails down and impales him through the head.
As soon as he is sure his last foe is dead, Blaidd huffs and yanks his blade out of the dremora's skull, wiping its tainted daedric blood off on the snow on the ground before he sheathes it. A long, deep huff of air escapes him as he finally just lets himself sink against the trunk of a tree for a bit, sitting down and letting nature shelter and calm him for now. He'd resume his endless search tomorrow... for now, he needed rest.
