With the utmost disgust Nocturne stood at the front of the class. Why hadn't they hired more subs... He had been a sub so long, he already was officially the 3b teacher... but for 3a to be lumped in with them!?!?! He was hoping and preying for a proper snooze, but Terebi already sent out an email clearly stating he'd have to deal with this for a week at the very least. Support was on the way, but on the way wasn't fucking good enough. He wanted his precious tiny 3 student class back! Lauren was already in his agency, and very chill. Muda didn't seem to bother anyone, and Wafliaflia's attitude was easy to manage as the other students preferred not to cause drama. He dreaded this, in fact jab the chalk into the bored with ire as he wrote out Philosophy. He was going to figure a way out of this hell.Â
"For those, who already know me.... Lauren, Muda, Wafliaflia. Good Morning. For those who haven't been in my class, well... Good Morning." There was a distinct drop in tone. It wasn't their fault. He'd do his best to push his mood in a more positive direction. "I generally give a single assignment every morning. Something to think over. But since we've got so many in our class for the week... how about a group discussion. Maybe even a debate?"
"FIRST, I'd like each of you to introduce yourself and simply state what you'd like to achieve. You've already been through the ringer of UA, and you're only your last lap. Surely there's a direct goal in mind."

"Yo, yo, yo, don't sweat it, teach, I'll spit first, ya dig? Also it's Hokori, yeah, Hokori! Muda's my mother's name, for real!"
Hokori rose to his feet with a grin, shooting Nocturne with a pair of finger guns. He cleared his throat, fingers tapping out a rhythm on the surface of his desk, as if he was giving himself a beat to speak to.
"Alright, big up sisters and brothers of third year. Ya might know me, or ya might not, but peep this, I'm Muda Hokori of 3-B! Hero name Dustcloud, and my quirk lets me control dust, yeah! It's wild, it's groovy, it's real cool, for sure!"
He spun around, focusing on the other third years. Those that knew him, even only partly, would see a stark difference between Hokori and how he had been in his first year. Reserved, quiet, distant. Now he was full of beans, grinning at the lot of them.
"I wanna be a hero that folks can feel safe around! Someone who dunks villains and saves peeps with a laugh and a smile. There ain't enough heroes who feel the groove of the day, yo! I wanna make everyone feel safe, ya dig?"
In the backrow sat Shinja, who watched Hokori speak with quiet amusement. The Dusty kid had a strong Quirk, but one that was totally nullified by her own, as they had found out in last year's sports festival. Still, he had developed a lot, even since then.
When he had finished, she rose to take her turn, glancing at the other third years.
"Sanyo Shinja, Hero name Aeronaut. My quirk, fans, allows me to blast air from my hands and feet."
She paused, looking up at Nocturne.
"I want to be a hero worthy of my grandfather's title. He was a great hero in the silver age, a brave man who always did what was right, no matter the cost. I want to use my quirk to save people and fight evil wherever it tries to disrupt society."

Faliwah would arrive to class, confused by the size of it, and the many new faces that shes not seen in years. It didnt take her too long to realize that this was a mixed class and she would wait paitently before she spoke.
Hokori introduced herself first, at the nocturne sensei's urging. Hes come a long way from when they were first years and even though they werent close by any means, she was proud of him for over coming his shyness. She would wait for his introduction to pass before she would stand before the class and begin her own, giving the teacher a deep formal bow- but not before giving Shinja a breif glance over.
"Ohayo Gozaimasu Nocturne sensei"
She stated, before turning to Hokori and giving him a bow himself
"Ohayo Gozaimasu Hokori-San. Not a bad introduction"
She stated, giving him a nod after bowing. She would then turn to the rest of the class and give them all a Bow before introducing herself
"Watashi wa Wafliahfliah Faliwah and my quirk is called War Fans. Its exactly as it sounds like, it allows me to transform my extremeties into war fans, which also by extention allows me to manipulate wind with it. I have a desire to become a hero because I want the world to be a just, and safe place. Upholding the rules and society comes with it. When people hear the name Fanmurai, i want the feeling of security to strike through their hearts"
She would finish with a final bow to the class, and then to nocturne before taking her seat for the next person to make their introductions

As class started and introductions went, a woman sat at the front of the room checking her watch. Some of the students would know and recognize her, others wouldn't. She was told by the principal her student wasn't supposed to be showing up today, but was never contacted by her agency head to cancel her. This was most likely because everyone who knows Flynn knows to expect him to do something he isn't supposed to.
That said, on cue and fashionably late, The flamboyant teen came rushing into the classroom on the day he was SPECIFICALLY told not to come by doctors. He had literally just been released from the hospital the day before after suffering from a 40 degree C (104 F) fever that could have cost him his life had his friend and ... boyfriend? Were they a thing now? After what happened he really wasn't sure. He hoped so... Either way, he was here nontheless and Yashida sighed in exasperation at him and gave him a face that screamed "I'm disappointed but not suprised." Flynn just gave his interpreter a big grin and made a heart with his hands, before beginning to sign to her which the interpreter expertly spoke for aloud as she always did.
Oh, don't give me that look, Yashida. I'm like, SOO totally fine now. I'm more likely to die of boredom missing another day of class than I am from that stupid fever. It's gone! I promise!
In his defense, he did seem to be okay now. He was clearly able to get himself out of bed and in uniform this morning... well... as "in uniform" as Flynn ever was with his personalized touches that he loves to add that are still "techincally within the rules." His makeup was done flawlessly and his hair was perfectly styled. He really did seemed to be back to himself. That didn't change the fact he wasn't supposed to be there though... Regardless, he turned to his teacher anyway with a sheepish grin.
I'm like, SO sorry for being late Shad- I mean... Mr. Nocturne. SOMEONE... I won't name names but it rhymes with Lanzo... turned my bed vibration alarm off last night without me knowing. Just tell me where to sit and what we're doing today. I'll catch up in no time!
Flynn then turned to the classroom to see where he was going to sit, only to spot something the brought a disgusted scowl to his face.
Rephrasing. Tell me where to sit as long as it is as FAR away from that ablist bitch as possible. I don't need to be sick again right after being released from the hospital and anything she has to say is gonna make my stomach churn.

"Dude, chill out will you?"
A sharp voice cut through all the noise and Flynn's translated words, coming from the back row of the classroom where Lauren Spence would be sat, filing her finger-claws down idly. She just wanted this to be a relaxed, maybe even uneventful class, if she now HAD to be there, but no. Not only was her overly-energetic classmate Hokori stinking up the air with his noise, but now THIS asshole had to be all sorts of unbearable, both with his over-the-top appearance and his foul vocabulary? The nerve of some people, honestly. She'd put her nail-file away before she'd sit up and lean over her desk a bit.
"She has a name. It's Faliwah, and you better learn it quick before I stamp it on your forehead. You can't just walk in on people and talk like that. If you don't like the idea that our classes are merged together, keep it to yourself. I'm not thrilled by it either, but you don't see me complaining. And to be honest, I'm surprised your translator haven't quit already with how much of a dick you seem to be."
She'd let out a deep huff and sink back onto her seat.
"Sorry, just can't stand assholes like him. But hey, me next I guess? Lauren Spence, hero name is Blood Hound. My quirk lets me control my own blood in any way I wish, both inside and outside my body, and since I'm an O- blood-type, I can give on-site blood donations. My reason for being here is just like anyone else here; I wanna be a hero. But a very specific kind of hero. I wanna be a hero that people can rely on when it comes to the crimes that go unanswered, and unnoticed. Those that happen within the walls of someone's home. I was raised by my dad in an attempt to turn me into a villain, and I realize there's possibly a whole lot more people like me who might be living under the same circumstances. And so I wish to be a hero to protect those people."
"Yo yo yo, tha's my mate there, Hokori~! Real sick bars!"
The ever-energetic and supportive voice of Jack was heard as Hokori spat his bars, doing his best to raise the energy of the room. He always knew how to raise a crowd up. At least Jack thought so! And once things settled down again, he'd step up to the plate!
"The name's Jack Williams, all 'de way down from Down-Unda' mate! But as a hero, I'd like t'go by Southern Flurry, 'cause that's what I am to my opponents~! My quirk lets me control me own adrenaline levels, an' get some sick gnarly boosts off of it! And as for what I wanna achieve? Heh, it's easy!"
He'd slam his fist into his open palm, a few golden 'sparks' flying off of his fur upon impact.
"I plan on bein' the best hero I can be! T'prove to my family back home that I ain' the same delinquent kiddo who chose to try an' beat up crime on his own without proper trainin'. It's to prove to them, AND myself, that I'm really a hero worth his salt."

"Lauren's right Flynn, I know you and Faliwah have never gotten along, and I get why and all, but don't go picking fights when she hasn't even said anything yet today." Tanzo said sternly "also I stand by my decision to try and get you to sleep in. You nearly died from overworking yourself and the doctors told you to rest today damnit. The fact I of all people could sneak into your room and turn the alarm off proves you needed the rest.
Tanzo would sigh in exasperation, Flynn really was testing his patience lately in ways only a good friend could... but regardless he'd introduce himself next.. but it was tricky. He figured talking about his art or his desire to fix his broken family or the deeply repressed desire for revenge against the villains who took his father away weren't suitable for the current discussion. He didn't have a specific hero philosophy yet really... it was only just beginning to form due to recent experiences... it made him feel a bit awkward as everyone else seemed to have such fleshed out visions and reasons. All he'd ever wanted was to not hurt people anymore, and that had grown into a desire to also help people while he was at UA.
Still he couldn't share a vision for the future he hadn't really had yet, so he decided to just do his best.
"I'm Tanzo Camina, hero name Factorium... as for my future as a hero. I don't have a specific vision like you all seem to really. I enrolled in this course because I needed the training to be able to control my quirk and the body it's given me, so I wouldn't hurt anyone or break things by accident anymore. I've achieved that, so now I want to put all this strength to good use helping people... that's really all there is to it. I've been giving thought as to more concrete goals for my time as a hero, but I don't have anything developed enough to really share. Sorry to disappoint." Tanzo said

Nocturne too at the front and watched as some more students trickled in little by little. He looked at the clock and raised an eyebrow. To be quite honest a lot of them were cutting it close. A fine intro by Muda, he'd receive a nod of approval. He'd only passed the shy boy a few times last year but in this group of third years. he was seeming confident. A good sign. Then came Shinja one of his own trainees. She got right to the point of wanting to exemplify what her Grandfather was to the Silver Age, in this current heroic age. His smile was brief, but it was there. Nocturne was able to witness the Silver Age from a closer vantage point. He and those within his generation were just a grey period of time until Strive and his peers came into the fray. While it was nice to hear, it ultimately made him feel OLD above all else... Next student. Much more formal than the rest, Faliwah would properly greet both him and the class. He didn't quite get it, it wasn't like he was one for formalities anyway. STILL, her introduction was very nice. Next came Flynn... The teacher stared at the clock before staring at Flynn.
He still struggle to find time to learn sign, but the signs he gave Flynn often were the same few. With a glare, he'd sign "LANGUAGE!" To Yashida he'd pivot due to lack of knowledge. "I shouldn't have to tell you to be on time. Also, this is a warning. You know better than to speak like that here. We're in school, not the mall. " Folding his arms, "NEXT."
But before they could move on it would be Lauren, who surprisingly would chime in to speak on Flynn's behavior. Oh no Lauren, Nocturne frowned. She was quiet the first few days in class, and got her work done without issue. He'd hoped that it would also be the case today, but with so many different personalities stockpiling up, even she would let a word or two slide. "Language..." He'd pinch the bridge of his nose. Her introduction outside of cursing was just fine. With a deep sigh, he looked at Jack. Ah, the boy who requested training every once in a while. He wondered how his studies progressed from then til now. Seemingly things were moving back on track. With an intro like that, it seemed like it was right on track.
Even Tanzo would let a word fly. The dusk hero would wait until his introduction was over to address the class. "I'm gonna need you all to understand this is school, NOT the mall with your homies. Leave the a's, b's, d's and whatever other letters you can think of out of the classroom. Flynn. Lauren, Tanzo... keep it clean. If you can't, I have a beautiful thing called detention that I can prepare, if you'd like. " He grumbled, annoyed that two of the three names were kids from his own agency. "I sincerely don't care who doesn't like who. If you're here, you're here. Personal drama can be left at outside these classroom doors. Treat each other with respect." The man would glimpse at the roll call. Youta was missing. ~~~He's that fast and can't even get to class on time...~~~ He thought. He saw another name. One that wasn't even a little bit familiar. A soft knock would be heard, causing Yoo to pause. Speaking of the devil. Yoo would let the newbie in. Better late than never, Ivan handed the teacher a few slips of paperwork from Principal Terebii.
Taking a moment, to read over, he-"I see... We were doing introductions anyway. Let them know who you are, and what you would like to achieve this school year. " Yoo plopped into his seat, with an exhausted huff. U.A was no stranger to transfer students coming from all over the place.
"My name is Ivan Sir the 3rd. I'm from Manchester... My hero name is Crest and my quirk is called Clad. I can wrap my limbs in armor and defend or attack with it. That's really all you need to know. My objectives are personal, and my reasoning for coming to Japan is personal." He definitely was not one for first impressions. Off of looks alone, Ivan couldn't quite tell who was the strongest. To an extent, it didn't matter. At the end of the day, they were all just his competition on the road to number 1. He'd done enough research to know about the top 10 heroes. This depressive teacher with a dark and gloomy disposition, his name was Nocturne... number 10. There was also Gigabite at number 8, the first year's teacher. Lastly, there was King, the number 2. The boy couldn't quite rap his head around the teaching curriculum and why the top heroes were littered about the student body so haphazardly. Wouldn't the smart thing to do be give the first years #10, the second years #8, and the third years #2. He thought about for a second before, revealing just a bit more. "Actually, I'm fine with sharing one of my objectives. I'm aiming to the top spot in this class."
Nocturne-"Well alright, then... Find an open seat where you can."
He'd find himself a seat by Lauren, and stare at the papers gifted to him by Terebi. So this was the school he was to be sent to. If it meant freedom from the clutches of his overbearing family so be it. He desperately wanted this period to be over so he could look for the only familiar face in the country he knew, Emily. He hadn't talked to or heard from her in years, but he desperately needed some grounding. He'd been feeling like a fish out of water this whole morning.

Hokori was grinning as the other classmates were kicking off. Rivalries were so, like, last year. He shot a wink at Jack, noting that the foul-mouthed Aussie was one of the few that wasn't cussing out the class. Then he took note of the new kid. A transfer student, huh? He shot a glance towards Shinja with a chuckle.
"Yo, Aeronaut, watch yer back... sounds like this mystery new kid is comin' for ya spot, chica!"
Shinja snorted decisively at Hokori's playful words. Top spot? She was good, sure, but there were others in this class that could easily be named the best. Anyway, this was their final year. Such terms were meaningless!
She remained quiet herself. It wasn't like her to speak out in class if she had nothing of worth to say. The others were bickering and sniping at each other. It was a poor show for a prospective student. Shinja simply rolled her eyes... but kept watching the new kid, a twisted interest in her eyes.

"Tch. Sorry, sir. Won't happen again."
Lauren quickly addressed Nocturne's warning, knowing full well that any threats that the Nr. 10 Pro-Hero made were not to be made light of. She knew fully well what kind of man he was, and it was not one to play around with. Which kind of made her silently hope that Flynn would keep up his damned antics and get kicked out, but she kept it to herself. Still, she couldn't help but to glare daggers at Flynn ever so often, even if she kept silent. Though, those hostile thoughts were quickly snuffed out the moment that the new student arrived. She'd shoot her eyes up at this 'Ivan' as she would let her gaze linger at him a bit more, clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth a bit before she'd shrug.
Though, she couldn't lie that she felt a smidge miffed out about him sitting right next to her. It felt... a bit odd to have someone even edgier than herself be seated right next to her. It was like looking at a side-by-side comparison of who was more or less goth! Regardless, she'd flip open her phone real quick, but out of politeness, since Ivan had come in AFTER her introduction, she'd swivel her red eyes over to gaze at him out of the corner of her vision.
"Name's Lauren Spence, or "Blood Hound". Nice meetin' ya, Crest."
Jack grins and shoots a wink back at Hokori, just smiling like a damned fool just from listening to his boyfriend popping off in front of him. Truly, this 'roo was lucky to have met someone like Hokori, and just be able to love someone like him. Though, he'd have to snicker as Hokori suggested that she'd have competition. Not to toot his own horn, but there wasn't just Shinja to consider for top spot. He was there too! Oh, and Tanzo too... if this 'Ivan' guy's quirk was to wrap himself in armor, Tanzo already had the upper hand on him by being a walking blast furnace! He'd turn his head to Tanzo for a bit and smirked, jabbing his thumb in Ivan's direction with an expression on his face that just said;
'Hey, get a load of this guy!'

Flynn just let oh a tch and rolled his eyes.
Yeah, sure, watevs. But Lauren, you know I'm fine with literally everyone else in B calss and what she's said. Honestly, rude and opressive are understatements. But fine, I'll just go over here by my bestie. Cause, ya know, I have friends. Undersstandably a foreign conscept you someone who can't even understand people who are even remotely different from her.
The deaf teen noted, with his interpreter keeping up with his speedy hands flawlessly, before strutting his way to the seat in front next to Tanzo and turning to the front of the class.
Now, if we are doing introductions... I'm Flynn Hansha! Also know as Fun House! Mirror Travel allows me to enter the mirror world, where everything is flipped and time is halved. I can use it to quick travel from one refelctive surface to another, toss weapons at enemies without them being able to see or hit me back, eavesdrop on conversations, and... well... I still haven't mastered bringing people in the mirror with me... but I can trap villains there which disorients them. Pretty fu-....dging awesome if I do say so myself.
He smiled to Nocturne as he mentioned the part about bringing people into the mirror, as though wanting to thank him again for helping him get over his fear of it.
I have two goals as a hero. One is to live up to the legacy of my mother and the hero she worked for back in Canada. Ghost Caller and Bloody Mary were one of the strongest hero/sidekick dous back in the day. I always looked up to my mom, but every time I said I wanted to be like her, she told me to surpass her instead. She'd say "Why settle for being a sidekick when you can run the show?" So... I'm gonna run my show like a master, just like she wanted. His face was soft and sombre despite his smile as he spoke of his mother. She and Ms. Harbinger were taken from his life too soon by villains, but he would live up to their name and expectations. Still, as always, Flynn was an open book. He didn't need to say or sign anything for people to know how he felt or what he was thinking. Even now, years later, he still missed his mother and her best friend. But he was working hard to meet the name they left behind. And two... He continued after a quick moment to regain his composure. He turned his head to look Wafliaflia with an intensity in his eyes that could burn down buildings. I'm here to prove that ANYONE can do ANYTHING they set their minds to. All it takes his hard work and determination, which I have in spades! I- He stopped, turning to look at Yashida and putting up a hand for her to stop, which she did and sat back in her chair to let Flynn do his thing. Flynn marched over to stand right in front of her desk and look her dead in the eye as he signed and, for the first time in front of the entire class instead of just the people he was close to, spoke while signing out of habit.
"Ai pawssed ta intrawns esawm, juhs laik ehrywon ehlsh. Ai wok mai ash awff to empruhv mai quawk an skeels, juhs laik ehrywon ehlsh. Ai urn mai pawmet fo 'ero wok and gawt ah enturnshehp, juhs laik ehrywon ehlsh. Ai dehsurv tew beh 'ere, juhs laik ehrywon ehlsh. Ai. ahm. ah. 'ero! juhs laik ehrywon elshh!" He then smiled to Nocturne, one of the people there who not only treated him with the same respect (or disrespect in some cases) as everyone else there, but believed in him enough to take him on as an intern starting that year. "Ai weel pruhv dat et dosh nawt mahtar waht shetbawks peepol ahve. Ehf oo wahnt eht bawd ehnuff, oo cawn mek et hawpin!"
He then looked back to Waf with a confident smirk, before pretending to flip his hair, letting out a tongue pop, and heading back to his desk next to Tanzo to drop into his seat cross his arms with a prideful nod.

Tanzo rubbed his temples in exasperation as Flynn continued taking shots at Faliwah, at least he wasn't doing it in a way that might get him tossed in detention now... probably. Honestly he was starting to think Faliwah and Flynn being stuck in the same class together was going to be more of an annoyance to him than to either of them simply because he was inevitably going to end up the mediator. He did get why Flynn had initially hated Faliwah... but for the life of him he couldn't remember the last time she'd actually done anything to provoke him other than that first one. Plus Flynn was already on thin ice with the whole hospitalization debacle so even the seemingly infinite patience of the giant was being stretched thin.
So instead of engaging with any of that drama, he focused on the other notable thing going on, the new guy. From the way he carried himself, he probably had the training and discipline to pursue the number one spot. But quirk wise he wasn't sure how this new guy would stack up against Shinja or Jack... a sentiment Hokori and Jack seemed to share. Notably he didn't consider himself as a competitor there until several moments later... that was probably why Jack was looking at him like that. And yeah he supposed if Ivan was just a pure physical strength type then he'd be hard pressed to come out on top here... Tanzo didn't much care about such things though.
"pleasure having you with us Crest, always glad to see new aspiring heroes join us" Tanzo said politely with all his usual warmth and friendliness... despite how stressed out he was today. "If you ever need a hand getting adjusted here, feel free to ask."
He rather doubted Ivan would accept help, based on his standoffish attitude, but extending the offer couldn't hurt right?

Faliwah would remain impassive throughout the whole ordeal. Flynns antics were childish, in her mind and she couldnt understand the extent of his reactions. She only said what was honestly on her mind in regard to him though she did have to admit, the fact that he made it this far was a testimate to his own personal strength. As far as she was aware, hes been proven he belonged here.
She couldnt parse a single word that had came from Flynns mouth. Unaware of the drama her next question would cause she would turn to Flynn
"Sumimasen, I didnt catch a single word you said. Could you have your interpreter repeat it?"
Then, she would turn her attention to the new comer before he would take his seat. He was cocky and confident, it excited her though to claim a top spot would be difficult.
She would stand and give the new comer a bow before he moved to his seat and sat back down
"Ohayo gozaimasu Ivan-San, Irasshaimase. Hope you make yourself comfortable here. It's going to be a hard climb to the top, everyone here is extremely capable both with their quirks, combat and all in skills required to become a hero."
She stated, giving fact. It wouldnt be easy, thing to do, to climb to the top.

The irony of being one of the fastest students in the whole school being late was definitely not lost on Youta. Today he was late because he had decided to get food from somewhere off campus, and it was kinda easy to lose track of time when stuffing your face with really good karaage! The speedster of class 3A was a pink blur as he raced to the class, halting only to stop from running into the figure at the door (Crest) who gave Youta a perfect opening with the open the door ( just barely finishing his last bite of delicious chicken) and once more moving with amazing speed, running in with a whoosh till he was standing beside his main man, Hokori, while just catching the tail end of Flynn's intro. Which was just enough to kinda catch on to what the class was doing. He was sure that Nocturne would notice, but hey....maayyyybe he wouldn't get called out? Chances were low.
So instead of just shying away from existing, Youta stepped up and gave his patented goofy grin and a wave "Hola! Youta Jin, class 3A. Hero name, Racer Rouge, My quirk is Tribokenisis, friction manipulation! Lets me do cool stuff like be fast as he....heck. Fast as heck" barely stopping himself from cursing "and the second bit was about goals or something?" oh yeah, totally smooth there hot shot. It wasn't like he expected to actually make it into the room unnoticed "I have a soft spot for kids, and I wanna make a hero agency centered around that. More specifically I wanna help after the danger, PTSD can be just as harmful in the long run as any injury that doesn't kill ya. Easy to forget that not all wounds visible" he sheepishly gave a little nod to Nocturne "and uh.....sorry for bein' late"
Around that time is when he actually caught wind of the tension in the room that was stemming from Faliwah, and Flynn. Ah, he'd heard a bit of this from the ever present rumor mill...and hanging around Hokori a lot meant he had some context. Maybe shoulda slowed down there, Youta. Too late now though, it was always a bit of a showdown when A and B class convened like this though. For the most part, Youta just did his best to stay chill about it and keep the whole rival thing to a minimum. Why couldn't they all just be cool with each other instead?

Ivan wasn't ignorant to the fact he was making an impression, but he could tell from the mixed faces if it were an actual good one or not... Not that it mattered much, he was here for business. What surprised him was how some students spoke to him despite his standoffish nature. " Ivan is good enough. I would say the pleasures all mine, but I assume the pleasure lies in wait for what this Norturne fellow has to offer." A subtle nod to Lauren, and a slight dig at Noc. Nocturne eyed the boy, but not so much so he'd miss Youta trying to blur under the radar with his quirked speed. He'd shake his head at the both of them. Ivan wasn't quite sure what to make of Lauren. Friend or foe? She seemed to be just as uninterested in this cesspool class as he was. Really now... They had to have been a week or so in... Why were they combining two classes on his first day? If anything U.A. was making a bad impression on him.
Tanzo would greet him next. "Aye, should the need arise." A curt response not necessarily dictating a yes or not. His response was well within calculations. Though he had an aid to guide him to classes and help pick up books from the library. What other adjustments could possibly have been lent? He was blind to the obvious attempt at friendship.
His attention turned to Waflia, to whom Flynn aimed his comments. He didn't know what she had said before he got their, but the wild boy(Flynn) was DEFINITELY staring daggers at her. On top of that, she seemed to be adding fuel to the flame. He couldn't tell if this were on purpose or if she were that oblivious to her own tone. Polite filled with poison, there were plenty of people like her back in London. He could understand having pride in the 3rd year class, he wasn't going to give kudos to a bunch of strangers. "That has yet to be proven."
Nocturne was just about to read Youta the riot act, but he was smart to apologize. He also was quick to correct his words, so he wouldn't slip up. He'd clap twice to get everyone's attention. "Now for the topics. It's an open discussion, don't be scared to debate why you feel strongly about your piece. FIRST topic, what is the single MOST important trait in a hero to you? Not all heroes carry out the same work. There are guys who solely deal with rescue, people who deal with combat, detective work, charity, etc. There are plenty of things that make a hero, but knowing what morals and qualities you hold dear will help steer you into the type of hero you become. You may even realize some parts of heroic are more attractive to you than others."
He'd write it down in big letters. IMPORTANT TRAITS OF A HERO. "I'll state mine. I find efficiency important. Getting things done in a timely and smooth fashion is what I find most important. "
To that Ivan would nod, but shout his own idea out with an explanation. "The ability to dominate, for obvious reasons. I haven't gotten to see you lot's heroes in action yet, but I was able to read up a bit on the top 10. That Strive fellow is nice n all, but above all else he dominates. You can't even be efficient if you can't dominate."
Nocturne would smirk. "To that I can agree. Anyone else have thoughts. It's not all about fights is it? What is the most important trait to you? Don't be shy now, with all that bickering you all did. Be loud about your passions too."

"Winning the fights against villains and doing so efficiently are both important" Tanzo would chime in "for me personally though, self-restraint it the most crucial thing. This applies less to people with less destructive quirks. But for people like me, dominating in a fight and winning quickly isn't really the core issue. If I really threw everything I had at every fight I'd definitely win the majority of my battles without breaking a sweat... but the amount of collateral damage I'd cause would honestly be worse than the villains I was fighting half the time, and that's disregarding the fact that I'd probably kill the villain outright and land in legal trouble myself, not too many people can walk away from being doused in molten metal or slammed by several tons of metallic muscle at full force. I'm not the only hero around with a destructive quirk either, heroes like us need to hold ourselves to an insanely high standard of control and restraint, even at the cost of reducing our combat effectiveness at times."
