Yoichi stared at Kachiya for a second, then cracked a small smile. A twitch of her lips. Busted, or what? Yoichi had been spouting off all this advice, while actively not following it... she fell back onto the other girl's bed, palms pressing into her eyes as she let out a short, harsh laugh.
"Yeah, I'm my own worst enemy, I guess. All this advice, but I'm still not following! I'm... Still having a tough time fitting in, I think."
Yoichi removed her hands, looked across at Kachiya and shrugged her lean shoulders.
"I've... been talking to Gigabite. I've got lots to work on, I think. If I want to be a hero - and I do, one hundred percent - then I have to fix what's going on up here."
She tapped the side of her head. It was the most she'd spoken to anyone outside of the teaching staff, and Yoichi felt her heart lift slightly.
"But, ah... anyway. It's not like I can do anything but work on it. Same for you. We just have to... we just have to keep going, right? And you have me, abs I have you. Just knowing I have a friend to be by my side... it helps a lot."

Kachiya smiled as Yoichi spoke, falling into her own bed herself, looking at the other girl. she had reached her hand out to rub her forearm as she laid her arms out. she spoke sense, and talking to her helped her to gain clarity.
"I've talked to him a few times too... not too excited to talk to him about this, but I need to"
she responded, nodding at her words.
"He's really wise, and always seems to know what to say"
She was nervous to talk to gigabyte about having done this illegal activity, but it was necessary. talking it through with Yoichi helped to alleviate her worries a bit, and it was nice to have someone come and check up on her
"Right. we always need to move forward... even though we might not always know exactly how to do it. its... all about baby steps"
she had reiterated what Yoichi had said, letting out a sigh of sorts. her heart swelled as Yoichi admitted what she had, that she was helping Yoichi as much as she helped her. It was a nice relationship that they had, and the first one that she had from her actual class.
"I'm glad to have you by my side, too"
She noted, a bit of color coming into her cheeks. Her heart fluttered at the thought that she had someone to grow with, instead of just a group of people who she could just simply look up to. It was a different feeling. It was nice, all the upper-classmen she had became friends with were wise and had good advice but her and Yoichi were walking the same path... they could depend on each other
