Personality:
Cheerful and polite is the best way to explain Alyza, A positive outlook colours almost every interaction with her and unless you’re either an utter cynic or complete fanatic its hard not to feel uplifted around her. While recent events have left her unsure, scared and generally less outgoing, there’s still that same upbeat energy around her.
History:
Alyza’s father should be, by all respects, considered a war hero within Axis Zeon. With plenty of combat missions under his belt during the One Year War. Indeed, once the One Year War passed its halfway mark her family found itself in comparative luxury, revered for its contributions to the war. This reverence continued after the war ended, and it was this military service that led Alyza’s family to believe she would join the logistics divisions at their request when they enrolled her into service.
They were correct… at first.
Eventually, doubts about the family’s loyalty began to emerge. Why did Alyza’s father return alive when so many others didn’t? Why were they being treated so well when many families of those who lost members during the war were not? This culminated in a transfer for young Alyza into the mobile suits corp, where she began her training, a place she didn’t want to be. While she believed in the cause, she didn’t consider herself a fighter, and constantly made requests to transfer out. All were denied.
Now she has completed her certification course, and is a bona fide mobile suit pilot, ready to be assigned to a new unit…
