Mission Types
Bounties can (Mostly) be separated into categories, which gives one an idea of how the mission is likely to go down. Some mission types may suit certain Hunters better than others, and some regions may be prone to have more missions of a given type. Lantern is not completely ignorant of Survivor Enclaves, so sometimes Enclaves may post a Bounty on the board as well. Below is the list of mission types.
Bounty Etiquette
Below you will see a list of the various bounties available to you, with information explaining the what to expect and how many people will be involved.
There are a few rules for bounty signups:
1. Solo bounties are first-come first-serve.
2. You cannot sign up a character for a bounty if they are already signed up for another mission.
2a. You can un-sign from a mission if you want to change to another one.
3. You cannot sign a character up for a bounty while they are already in the middle of a mission. (With one exception, view Rule 6d by CLICKING HERE)
4. If you have multiple characters you cannot assign them to the same bounty.
5. When you sign up a character for a bounty with multiple Hunters, there will be a five day grace period for any other Hunters to sign up. After that grace period, any vacant slots will be filled with NPC Hunters and the mission will begin.

Hunt
The quintessential Hunt mission's scope is dictated by the person who undertakes it. You are given a specific type of creature that needs to be culled, and you go out and cull as many as you can find until you feel satisfied. These more often than not pay per kill rather than a singular fixed payment.
Prejudice Hunt
A Prejudice Hunt is akin to an assassination; there is a specific monster that is causing trouble or has the potential to cause trouble, and it is your job to take it down.
Cleansing Hunt
A Cleansing Hunt is less focused on what you kill, but where you kill it. Cleansing Hunts involve clearing out a specific area of any monsters inside, for whatever reason that area may need to be emptied of threats.
Investigation
Sometimes you do not know what you are hunting, just that there is some kind of problem and it's your job to find out what's causing it. Investigation missions should only be taken by the patient and attentive.
Escort/Rescue
Escort and rescue missions are often lumped together since ultimately the experience is the same: You are protecting a person or group of people as you usher them to a destination. Rescue missions tend to be harder and pay more than regular Escort missions.
Collect
There is an object or multiple objects that need to be collected for whatever reason. Do not mistake this for a mere flower picking quest however, it is likely that you will encounter resistance of some kind, either incidentally or directly because of what you're getting.
