Physical Description
Camille is a gorgeous lamia with flowing black hair, and rounded features. Their upper body was mostly humanoid, noticeably athletic with a slim physique, but not compromising her natural beauty. She has wide hips and a fair bosom, and her skin is smooth as velvet. In cohesive streaks across her arms and backs she has smooth scales that blend in with her skin, their touch noticeable but not particularly rough. The most striking feature of her upper body however were her eyes, which glowed softly in a vibrant swirl of green and violet. Her humanoid body was roughly three feet in length. Below her hips her body extends into a very long serpentine form, the length of which approaching twenty-one feet. Their lower half is thick, muscular, and resilient (not unlike the body of a python), and it is covered in thick, orange scales that are smooth but hard to the touch. These scales can flourish outward to shift into a much rougher and resilient hide of reptilian armour in the midst of battle.
Clothing
As a lamia she doesn't wear any lower clothing, but for her top human torso she enjoys vibrantly coloured blouses and shirts that compliment the radiant orange of her snake body. Largely she prefers the colours of autumn; reds, oranges, browns, and yellows.

Physical Powers
(Monstrous)
Ability Name
Hardened Scales
Body Part
The serpentine section of her body
Ability Description
The smooth, hard scales across her body can be shifted at will, allowing Camille to flourish them outward to form a rough, highly resilient hide. When it is flourished like this, her reptilian armour can easily compare to steel plating, allowing her to resists attacks to a significant extent.
Ability Name
Serpentine Grace
Body Part
The serpentine section of her body
Ability Description
Having the form of a snake grants Camille some innate capabilities. She is capable of rearing up and lashing out with incredible speed like a viper; she is capable of coiling around a target and constricting them, crushing them beneath her body like a python; she is capable of scaling vertical surfaces surprisingly well, even better than a normal human in fact; and she can also recede into the coils of her body to shield her squishier human portion from harm.
Spiritual Powers
(Monstrous)
Ability Name
Lethargic Haze
Ability Description
Camille is capable of emitting an aura around herself that slowly afflicts people with fatigue. It makes them sluggish and dampens their accuracy. They start finding it harder to think straight and their senses dull. If they remain in the aura too long, they run the risk of being vulnerable to Camille's Mesmeric Gaze.
Ability Drawbacks
This effect does not discriminate friend from foe. While it is active, anybody near Camille will feel its effects. It is weaker on foes with strong wills and/or strong auras.
Ability Name
Mesmeric Gaze
Ability Description
Camille's eyes have a shifting green and violet swirl to them that can be enhanced at will to apply a mesmeric effect. This allows her to halt and/or hypnotize her enemies with her captivating gaze, opening them up to attack or preventing them from attacking. This also has some secondary effects, granting her the ability to willingly see into the infrared spectrum as well as providing night vision.
Ability Drawbacks
This ability is less effective on strong-willed opponents, and it rarely works on the same person twice (Within a short timeframe anyways). Her eyes also constantly have a viridian glow to them, making it very difficult for her to hide in darkness.
Spiritual Powers
(Human)
NOTE: The bonded object (Her hand mirror) she had as a human still persists as a bonded object into her monstrous state. The powers below are still sourced from that bond.
Ability Name
Mirror Portal
Ability Description
Camille is capable of conjuring mirrors of varying sizes. She can connect these mirrors to each other, forming portals that allows people or objects to pass through them. These mirrors however will reflect or block energy, rather than allowing it to pass through. When it reflects her light it enhances the power of it. It is sometimes able to reflect other forms of energy, but more often the energy smashes the mirror instead.
Ability Drawbacks
These mirrors are preceded by a swirling silver light before actually appearing, making them very predictable. The edges and back of the mirrors are also tangible, leaving them vulnerable to being smashed as well. Enemies are able to use her mirrors as well, making it possible to be used against her. Due to how slowly they appear, it is difficult for her to use these reactively.
Ability Name
Radiance
Ability Description
Camille is capable of charging herself up with a radiant aura. While active it slowly burns enemies too close to her, and makes her attacks be accentuated by a burst of searing light. She is capable of using her Radiance at range, launching small blasts of light to hit foes from afar. She can also summon glowing orbs which she can manipulate and position anywhere on the battlefield, offering her a way to strike enemies from multiple angles. She also has a finishing move where she charges up a powerful beam of light to melt her target away.
Ability Drawbacks
This ability takes time to charge up, leaving her vulnerable if taken by surprise. After unleashing her charged up energy in the form of blasts, orbs, or other attacks, she will also be vulnerable while she recharges.
Spiritual Powers
(Pale)
NOTE: Camille has been chosen as the champion of a pale entity known as Polymas, Avatar of Choice. She has merged the Pale Power with her own aura, slowing growing more attuned to it. She has also gained the ability to dreamwalk effectively.
Ability Name
Light in the Darkness
Ability Description
Camille exudes an aura of calm reassurance to people around her, inspiring hope and passion from the people fighting alongside her. She can further empower this aura to spread her energy into the people affected, boosting their mystical capabilities at the cost of Camille's own. Being an aura of pale energy, this also acts as a ward of sorts, weakening corrupted powers in its radius. It has a range of a few meters around her.
Ability Drawback
Empowering the aura drains Camille's mystic energy, scaling based on how many people are affected. The protective effect of the aura also applies ONLY to corrupted powers sourced from the Entity or its minions.
--Important Information--
Personality
Camille is an intelligent and caring monster whom maintains a strong bond with her human heritage and human friends. She has a strong will, but also a humility that she has learned through the struggles she has faced. Becoming a monster has worn on her, and is still a thing she is learning to understand, but she attempts to remain optimistic in the face of her new life. She has a strong poker face, though her mask has become much easier to crack from the bonds she's made and the emotional sensitivity she's learned. She strongly opposes the darkness of Xir and his master, and seeks to enact vengeance on Xir for the cruel things he had done to her, and the people she loved.

Goal
Camille has gained a newfound purpose as the chosen champion of Polymas. She still seeks revenge against Xir for all the crimes he has committed, but her purpose was now larger than just him. She would dedicate her life to hunting down and excising the tumorous agents the Entity has seeded into the world.
--History--
Having left Pulic for Fortis, Camille began searching high and low for a tutor. Though she attempted to use her influence and money to acquire the best tutor, she found no success. Eventually, she was forced to spend a night under the protection of a peasant named Donnie. Donnie inquires as to what she was doing in Fortis, and her answer made him tell her how it was-- There wasn't a chance in hell she would find a tutor of a high caliber like that, no matter her wealth. Eventually, Camille decides to see if Donnie could teach her, out of spite if anything. She was hopelessly weak and barely able to swing a sword, with Donnie making quick work knocking her on her rump. He made it clear to her that becoming stronger wasn't easy. Camille, stubborn as she was, wasn't about to give up.
Donnie trained her body over the course of weeks, helping her get her physique into a state that wasn't hopelessly weak. Eventually she started to show some aptitude in fighting, learning the basics of footwork; and later, the basic strikes and guards of swordplay. At one point, she also unlocked the first, most basic ability of her new bonded object. As their training continued however it was clear to Donnie that Camille was on borrowed time. He, hesitantly, gave her the option to indulge a special and illegal incense that forces the imbiber to enter a deep sleep, in which they confront their inner demons in their dreams.
Camille accepts, and as she is put under, she experiences a vivid series of nightmares, one after another, detailing all her fears, regrets, and losses. Finally, she comes face to face with a corrupted doll that mimicked her old self. The doll awakens, striking at her with darkness, trickery, and devilish minions. It was clear to her this nightmare wasn't just a nightmare-- It was being influenced by the tormentor who afflicted her with the curse in the first place, Xir. This nightmarish battle forced her to come up with creative solutions, and unlocked her other two abilities in Silver Dawn and Radiance. She eventually awakens to herself, and her meaning, purging the darkness in her nightmare. In one last bit of self reflection, she shatters the mirror showing who she used to be. She was a pompous noble no more.
Camille would continue her training with Donnie, displaying much more combat prowess than before. She wasn't able to defeat Donnie in a spar, but he complimented her progress. At that moment however, Donnie's son Roland ran out to the field sobbing. He admits that he used the incense as well without Donnie's permission. Donnie comforts him-- But Roland then conjures a blade of darkness, stabbing Donnie through the gut. Knocking him away Camille is forced to face down the now corrupted and mind controlled Roland. She barely held her own against him, eventually being overwhelmed by the darkness. Just as Roland was about to deal the killing blow however, a surge of liquid silver blocked the attack. Donnie reveals himself to have had a second bonded object, and had returned to the fight. In unison, Camille and Donnie fought Roland, eventually defeating him. It brought Donnie a deep, horrible pain, that he must kill his son. But it was done.
It was clear that there was much more to this than just Camille's curse, and Donnie knew she needed better tutelage. So, leaving his home in the care of Camille's servants and his wife, he joins Camille and her last remaining servant Anderson as they ventured into the city.
There, they enter the manor of a man named Daniel; Donnie's eldest son. Donnie had wronged Daniel, not visiting or contacting him for years, and Daniel was rightfully pissed. Only through Camille's resolve and blunt explanation did he let them stay. Daniel learns of Camille's plight, and tests her strength. It was clear she had a long way to go. And so, they begun training. Fighting skills, power manipulation, seeking peace and purpose. Day in and day out, Camille trained and hardened her resolve, honed her skill. And in the midst of the training, her and Daniel grew attached to one another.
Camille also met another person, a servant of Daniel named Ariana. Ariana was mute, and had the power to heal wounds. Later it would also be revealed she could manipulate water. One night, Camille happened upon Ariana singing in the water, discovering Ariana's secret. She was a monster who made a pact with a pale being to become human, losing her voice and immortality in the process. It was so genuine, and Camille assured her that her secret was safe.
One fateful night, Camille and Daniel would share a moment. A moment where their budding companionship blossomed through a first kiss, marking the beginning of a loving relationship.
Daniel however had his other duties. He observed Camille doing a spar with Donnie, in which she accidentally hurt Donnie more than she wanted. Donnie would need the day to recover. Later, Daniel had to leave on his business. Anderson oversaw her training them-- But then his mind reeled at a horrible gut feeling. He felt a great danger approaching the manor. He told Camille and Ariana to evacuate the building. Camille wasn't sure how Anderson knew this, since as far as she knew he was just a regular body guard that used to work for her father. She follows his word anyways, and helps Ariana gather Donnie and the other servants.
Anderson meanwhile steps into the main foyer of the building, beginning to channel his mystic energy as he set a trap. Through the doors walked in three officers, and a squadron of soldiers behind them. Anderson gave them one last chance to leave; and when they didn't, he sprung his trap. Dozens of spectral crossbows hailed down on the soldiers, killing most of them instantly. The officers survived however, and thus their fight began. Anderson, in spite of his logic and combat skill, found himself at a strong disadvantage against these coordinated officers. He didn't need to win though, he just needed to buy time...
Meanwhile, Camille and Ariana were going to lead the servants into a secret passage-- But it had been compromised, soldiers walking up led by an officer that wielded wicked green flames. Ariana unleashes her voice in a sonic scream, knocking the soldiers down. She then faced the flame wielding officer, telling Camille to take the servants and go out the back entrance. They hurried off, leaving Ariana to her personal battle.
Anderson, in the midst of his fighting, heard the powerful scream. At that moment it became clear to him that the manor was being assaulted from all ends. Time wasn't on his side any more. Now the officers were buying time against him. Desperate, Anderson regretfully activated one of his powers. A power he swore never to use again, but he had to, for those he loved. He siphoned the blood from the corpses of the soldiers he killed, using their blood to fuel himself into a far more powerful individual. He would then continue the fight with the officers, swiftly dispatching them. He suffered grievous injuries in the process however, and the true cost of his ability took its toll-- The voices in his head and the nightmares that came after. It costs him his mental stability. Daniel arrives in time to have him sedated so he can rest and recuperate, physically and mentally.
While Anderson fought the officers, Camille had emerged in the back courtyard of the manor-- only for the gates to be melted by a bolt of lightning. Camille assumed her combat stance, readying herself to face this foe. Donnie couldn't help her with his metal, since he wielded electricity. Taking a deep breath, Camille began the fight. It was rapidly clear he was faster and stronger than her, so she had to try and come up with creative solutions, using her light orbs and mirrors to outmaneuver him. Her strategies worked to some extent, but in her fighting she got too overconfident as she charged in to stab the man in the heart. He shifts such that she stabs him in the gut, and grips her by the throat. He begins choking and burning her with electricity, but she responds by channeling her radiance, starting to burn his arm. Slamming her into a wall, he was about to finish her. But after a flashback to when she was first learning to fight, she performed a trick that made him accidentally execute himself. The fight had taken a huge toll on Camille, her body burnt and drained. Daniel arrived at that moment, having the servants immediately tend to her and bring her in to recuperate.
The aftermath of this fight was steep. Camille, Ariana, and Anderson were greatly injured, and Anderson was also suffering horrific nightmares and visions as a result of his blood siphon. Eventually Camille managed to get up and out of bed. She joined Daniel as he had a meeting with one Shawn Belmarx. The meeting went through the immense amount of influence Xir was gaining. There was a premonition of all the horrors and bloodshed to come. Worn down by this and some... Explicit, action earlier with Daniel, she retired early for the night.
The next morning, Camille was horrified, awakening with the lower half of her body transformed into that of a snake. Daniel, Anderson, and Ariana joined her as they tried to help her cope-- and then to help her learn how to move with this new body. Shawn also arrived and analyzed her curse, and it became clear that she was running out of time. Ariana suggest taking her to the pale being that had initially made Ariana human. After some rehabilitation, Camille followed, riding out to the shore. After a brief scuffle with a sea monster, Ariana leads Camille to Reef's Heart, where she meets the pale dragon named Polymas. Polymas offers her a pact, a difficult pact. He removes her curse-- But she is forever transformed into a monster, a Lamia. Faced with no other option, Camille accepts his offer, and is reborn as a monster, being freed of the curse and gaining new powers befitting of her new form. Ariana sobs at this, informing Camille that there was one more cost of the pact. Camille is immortal now-- she will outlive all the people she loves. This revelation was hard, but Camille did her best to stay positive.
Her focus was on bringing about Xir's downfall. Polymas however pressured her, reminding her of how daunting and powerful the entity is, how it created the Harbingers and defeated the pale beings. But Camille didn't falter. This brought surprise and joy to Polymas, at how special humans are. He saw the fire burning within her, and offered her another pact. She would receive a boon of his power, becoming his chosen champion. The cost was largely on Polymas himself, who would be slowly drained and worn as Camille grow in strength. This also painted a huge target on Camille's head for the Entity and its minions. But Camille already made her decision. Bringing about Xir's downfall, and striking at the Entity's influence wherever it is, is her true purpose. And so, she received his blessing. She entered the Heart a human cursed to be part snake. But she leaves the Heart a monster, and a champion of the pale spirit. She was truly, and utterly, transformed forever.
