Her eyes are a pale yellow like a full moon and her complexion is cream white with no hints of a tan or coloration.
Civilian Clothes: Serenity wears a white and black striped shirt and black jeans with black sneakers she wears black brown cloth gloves over her fingers
Hero Outfit: Serenity's uniform is a skin tight full body suit that is white on the top and jet black on the bottom. It's very plain when not displaying her quirk leaving her to look almost like she's cosplaying a hero, however when she activates her quirk her lower half becomes wrapped in fluctuating shadow and flares as if on fire covered in black flames.
Personality
Bad Habits: She doesn't speak Japanese very well and sounds slow or stupid
Goal: She wants to earn her father's approval by becoming a well liked and known hero
General Personality: Serenity is a foreigner in every way imaginable from her common courtesy to her speaking habits she is the embodiment of the word Gaijin, however, she deeply wants to blend in and succeed in Japanese society so through some strings that her father pulled she enrolled in UA to become one of the premier heroes in Japan. Serenity isn't self absorbed as much as she is absent minded not really able to focus well on multiple things which means when she does focus on something its with her heart and soul, which is usually her hero training but she has a penchant for fashion and finds her Hero uniform gaudy despite multiple protests to the development department. She's not really that different from your average american teenager in that she wants to be social and have a good time but she understands the responsibility of the UA school and would never willingly tarnish it, she does hold some contempt for the 'loser' heroes who have silly quirks or goofy personas but she doesn't outwardly express this.

Mother: Senko Yujira born in Hosu and raised in Chicago Senko was a quiet and timid girl fitting the stereotype of eastern born women however her quirk made her extra audacious as she could consume anything and seemingly never be full. Her quirk brought her great embarrassment and didn't really leave her much in the room of 'hero' work but while she was young she found love and quickly settled into the role of a house wife. Her nickname in school was Garbage Disposal.
Father: Roy Jones: Born in Ohio and raised in Chicago Roy was the child of two D tier heroes who never took their jobs seriously. Always working as little as possible gave Roy the attitude of a workoholic. His quirk Moonlighting set him on the path to be a hero, however only after dark, whenever Roy was in a shadow he was given enhanced physical ability and the power to become nearly invisible but in the light he's slower, weaker, and sticks out like a sore thumb standing at an impressive six foot eight. When he was in high school he fell in love with a timid girl who didn't mind his imposing stature or love of the night and married her producing a daughter whom they named Serenity because of the peace she brought them. Through hard work Roy amassed considerable wealth as the 'dark knight' of Chicago becoming close to the premier hero of the city even gaining national renown.

Stephen: Stephen was the Jones family butler who helped raised Serenity alongside Senko. Unfortunately due to Moonlighters nightly activities he tended to sleep most of the day leaving Stephen to raise the rambunctious young Serenity in her father's stead. Senko and Stephen have a good relationship despite torrid rumors of an affair. He was heartbroken to see Serenity leave the estate to go live a modest life in Japan but supports her with near weekly post cards and gifts.

Her father Moonlighter was a famous American hero and while her mother had no discern-able fame to speak of she was the illustrious Mrs Jones of the Jones family fortune. She was spared no expense when being raised, instructed by the finest tutors, coached by champion athletics, and given access to only the premier of opportunities which is why after a life of sheltering and pampering Serenity chose to pursue the sun and step out of her father's shadow.
Being Abroad
Senko was completely against the idea of Serenity going abroad but Roy saw nothing but opportunity if Serenity could become a famous hero in Japan then that would spread the Roy name across the globe. He pulled some strings and got Serenity identification and passports to travel to Japan and live with her grandfather who had departed the states shortly after Serenity was born following the death of Senko's mother. While tutored in multiple languages Serenity struggles with Japanese which caused her much embarrassment in front of her mother during her youth. After attending her final year of middle school Serenity enrolled in UA with the hopes to become someone greater than her father and to make her grandmother proud.

Power: Serenity is able to take the light that touches her skin in any place and convert it into a slick viscous oil like substance that she can freely control. The amount produced is relative to the amount of light she absorbed and can be sustained as long as there is direct sunlight contacting her skin. The shadow substance is produced from the bottom of her feet and rises naturally dissipating quickly after being produced in excess.

Drawbacks: Serenity's quirk does not work at night time or in the shade. As well as she has an upper limit on the absorption of light which causes her to get frequent sunburns, if she is covered by anything and can't make direct contact with the sunlight on her skin she can't use her quirk and the shadow substance doesn't maintain its composition if Serenity moves too far away from it over twelve feet.
Fighting Style: Serenity is a close combat style fighter trained by her father who excels in quick strikes with the feet and disabling opponents with grabs and throws.
