His ears twitch and swivel from her laughter. It truly was pleasant to hear it, and it got Blaidd to smile again for the second time now. "Well, can't exactly blame me for being a warrior, now can you. I wasn't counting on it anyway, you're far too scrawny for the likes of me~" was that... was Blaidd TEASING HER BACK? It sure looked like it! He even gave a soft grin of his own. But he nodded regardless. He'd protect her if push comes to shove.
"That'd be appreciated... maybe somewhere where there's running water. The sound always helps me relax a lot more."

Elyssa's eyes widened in surprise as Blaidd teased her back, but her lips curved into a grin. Oh, he wanted to do it that way, huh? "Scrawny? me? I assure you you'll find I'm quite voluminous where it ma'ers, big boy", she said, her tone sultry and inviting as she gave him the most flirtatious wink she could muster, and she could muster QUITE such a wink. If he insisted on teasing, she'd gladly up the ante. Regardless of his reaction, Elyssa giggled and returned her gaze to the road infront. She had no clue (and didn't give a damn) where they were going, but stopping at a place with running water sounded like a plan. Deciding to keep the teasing going, her grin widened. "Runnin' water sounds lovely, I wouldn't mind a bath".
Ah how she had missed having someone to banter with. Traveling alone was great, truly, just rest under a tree, compose music all day and maybe climb a tree or something to stay in shape, but it could get lonely at times. This just gave her more fuel to her now flirtatious teasing. "Good thing you're a wolf-man, Blaidd, I could use someone with fur to cuddle up to to keep me proper warm when night falls". She didn't care if her words flustered him but it would make it all the more fun if they did, what mattered to her was that she was having witty banter with a friend again and that had been some time.

"You just stated you're not much of a fighter. It is plain to see, is all I'm saying." Blaidd shrugged with that smirk still on his muzzle, but he seemed to not have grasped Elyssa's more promiscuous teasing at all. Either he was that blissfully ignorant, or he was just not catching up on it. Would it matter if he did? Still, he'd just nod as she agreed to his idea of finding a spot with running water to camp at. "Does not have to be anything big either. Just a small brook or stream is good enough, so long as the sound is there."
Though the notion of him basically being a warmer for her did make him huff a bit. "If you want a blanket so bad, I could just lend you my coat for that." he said, lifting and rustling his rustic cloak and coat to empathize. "I might be a wolf-man, but I'm no lap dog." Looks like he had some SELF-WORTH and DIGNITY, at least. Something that was no doubt his own will, and not that of whatever disembodied overseer that was lording over him.

Elyssa didn't seem to mind that her promiscous remarks went over Blaidd's head, banter was banter after all. "I getcha, love. The sound of a flowin' stream or whatever is great to listen to as you relax". As he huffed at her words and spoke of lending her his his coat, Elyssa looked a bit confused, but quickly recovered and gave him an apologetic smile. "An' 'ere I thought you liked cuddles is all, didn't mean anything else by it, sorry mate". She decided not to mention the fact that him blindly following orders without questioning them at all made him another type of lapdog.
As the wagon continued traveling, Elyssa listened for both the sound of running water, but also adventure. She was certain the allure of adventure was waiting around the corner to just hop out and drag them away! Secretly as well, he was hoping for a sign for one of the Song of Power, but didn't hold any real hope they'd just bump into signs of that along the road.
